soft dopyo hours: open
You're currently on your phone, talking to Taeyong as the male update you with the wedding preparations. You've been getting help from him and Ten about preparing for the wedding, since Doyoung is busy with his vampire duties while you were taking care of the twins. You listen attentively on the vampire's updates, telling you your wedding dress is ready as well of Doyoung's. You kept asking if you can see your fiancรฉ's suit but all Taeyong is you should wait.
"Why can't I see the suit of my own husband?"
The vampire laughs echoed on the other line. "Because we, yes me and Doie wanted to surprise you on the big day." he answered, earning a groan from you. "And y/n, he isn't your husband yet, have patience sweetheart." he mumble in a teasing way, laughing all alone.
"But we're about to go there so why not?"
Taeyong chuckled at your words and couldn't help but to coo at how cute you are. Both of you talked about random things: from the wedding preparation, the big day being weeks away, about Jaehyun, and lastly about Doyoung and Daisy that he saw in the office earlier. "I saw the two bunnies earlier, why didn't Dopyo tag along with them?" he asked in curiosity, wondering about the little boy.
Your eldest and her dad has been acting extremely weird lately; one moment they love each other and can't be separated apart and later on fight like kids about nonsense (Doyoung picking a random argument with the little girl). You didn't know what to do with the two and let them be since you don't want to deal with two bunnies having tantrums if ever. And today, the two we're being too sweet, Daisy wanting to tag along with her dad on the office and spend the whole day with him.
"He doesn't want to and wanted to stay with me." you replied, your eyes shifting to your little boy who's watching little einsteins, you smiling widely on hearing the boy singing along with the show's theme song cutely.
"Aw, the little boy loves you like how Doie adores you." Taeyong cooed at the other line, imaginary heart melting at how Dopyo got his father's soft side. "I better go now sweetie, say hi for Dopyoung for me. Good bye y/n~"
You bid goodbye to the older and ended the call. You moved down to the couch and sit beside with your youngest, your little prince immediately laid his eyes on you. You let out a giggle when the boy embrace you with a cute hug and settled on your lap, having all smiles on facing you. "Baby you sure you don't want to spend the day on the office with your dad and Daisy?"
The boy shake his head and stay still on his comfortable place on your lap, closing his eyes as you slowly stroke his black and shiny locks. You steal a glance on the clock and it was almost lunch time. "I can send you there after lunch time if you want." you suggested.
"No, I don't want to go the office." he replied politely, fluttering his eyes open to look up at you intently. "I want to spend my time with you mommy and me don't want to leave you here alone." he softly said, cheeks puffed as he gave you an innocent look.
"My little prince always worries for me, how sweet of him." you coo and reciprocate the hug, the two of you catching glances and laugh. You were always intrigued by your youngest's personality, he's too nice, sweet and caring for you despite of being a four year old. He worries when you're sad and want to be there for you in anything and yet, you were grateful for him. He's too smart for his age and you don't want to think about what he knows right now.
You and the youngest hum in silence and enjoyed each other presence, only to be interrupted by your boy saying he's already hungry. You laughed at how adorable he is and decided to cook lunch for the both of you. You attempted to carry him towards the kitchen but he's heavy for you to pick up and the boy is growing up too fast. Dopyo laugh when you begged for the boy to stop growing, the boy kept replying he can't just stop that.
You and your youngest went to the kitchen while holding hands, you asking what he want to eat. Dopyo answering he only wanted some soup and you obliged. You went into the cabinets to check for some instant soups, only finding some instant noodles that Ten bought yesterday. You have no choice but to make soup on your own.
You use your ability to grab a pack of biscuits and gave it to your son since it will take thirty minutes or an hour to cook. You automatically smile when you heard the boy mumbled thank you, you looking at him for the last time before diving back in on searching thoroughly on the cabinets and on the fridge. You got some chicken breast, carrots, celery, and onions and grab them out the fridge, washing them with water and use a knife to cut them to edible pieces.
You tilt your head on hearing Dopyo calling you, the boy signaling you to come closer. You curiously walk towards him and tried to read his intentions, only to see his mind empty. Your youngest smiling widely at you, giving you a biscuit and not wanting you to be hungry too. You playfully roll your eyes and pinch his soft cheeks, the two of you laughing in unison and is adoring one another.
You place down the little boy on the chair he's sitting at because he wanted to go to the bathroom, your youngest assuring you that he can go alone without your supervision. You watch the boy exit the kitchen and you trust the boy enough, making you started cooking. You put four cups of water on a pot and place down the chopped onions and celeries.
You were cooking when your senses heightened out of nowhere, heart palpitating as you were getting overwhelmed on how strong your senses are. You lower down the heat on the stove and walk around the kitchen, calling your prince. Your vampire senses feeling a foreign being watching you from afar, you look around, taking subtle steps because of nervousness. You then remembered the rocks Kun placed all through out the house in case of emergency but mostly to randomly hit Ten out of his bullshit acts. You cursing at the back of your mind on not seeing any rocks near you, so much when you needed them the most.
You exit the kitchen, frightened on the thought someone is watching you. You keep on calling your little boy, shouting for his name repeatedly. You let out a gasp when a black shadow passed by you making you stumble on the floor harshly. Your eyes immediately followed the creepy figure, your soul almost ditch your body when you saw it staring back with you with the most terrifying grin you've even seen and it was making you tremble.
"We're coming for all of you, darling."
"Mom?" you shake your head and face Dopyo, who's looking at you with concern. He shifted his eyes on you and where you're looking at, only seeing nothing but the living room itself. "Why are you on the floor?"
You didn't answer his question and look onto the living room, finding the black figure you just saw a second ago. You were weirded out on seeing the scary shadow disappear in an instant, your senses back to normal but you were scared, what did it mean that it's coming for all of us?
"Mommy," Dopyo called you once again, this time the boy is getting scared on how frightened you are. He was only gone for a minute and now he's seeing you scared. "Mommy, why are you scared?"
"Hmm?" you hummed, sitting properly and facing the youngest, you're well aware how the boy gets easily frightened. You didn't want him to worry that much and decided to give a smile, telling him that it was nothing. The boy isn't convinced at your assurance and is more worried at you. You find any excuse to escape the little one's interrogation, your nose smelling the soup already boiling. "C'mmon now baby, the soup is almost cook." you held his arm gently and went back to the kitchen.
You're glad that the boy forgot on worrying and hop his way towards the pot, wanting to see what you're cooking. You wanted to mess with him but seeing how cute he is made you abandoned the idea of teasing him. You grab the foldable step ladder stool that Johnny bought a long time ago but rarely use it. You helped the boy climb the ladder and giggled on seeing how amazed he is on seeing things on a higher view. He's just so precious and innocent and you wished he'll stay like that forever.
You watched the boy hold the cooking spoon that you gave him, your youngest mixing the soup with all his tiny hands' strength. You observe him for a good minute, your mind slowly slipping on paying attention to your son. You can't help but to think about the black figure you witness earlier, shuddering in fear and didn't know is what you just saw is real or a pigment of your imagination. It felt so wrong when you disregard the figure and his words, it was threatening you and the others, you suddenly wondering if the other neos experienced this also.
You snap back from reality when you heard your youngest calling you, telling you the soup keeps on popping bubbles and it's frightening him. You put a smile on giggle at how innocent he is, assuring the boy that it won't hurt him. You patted his head and turn off the stove, instructing the boy to go to the dining table. Dopyo nodded eagerly and obliged, you giving him two plates and utensils for him to bring. You carefully look onto the boy to sure he won't hurt himself and won't let go the plates. You sigh in relief when he successfully put the plates down to the table and didn't got into an accident.
You managed to not making it obvious for your little boy to know that you're bothered on what you saw, trying your best to smile at times whenever he looks at you. You don't know if you wanted to tell Doyoung about it but you're hesitant knowing how busy he is, and you're unsure if what you saw is real or your brain is messing with you.
You and Dopyo stayed on the living room for the whole noon because you don't know if the black figure is still on the house and wanted to make sure you two don't get trouble if ever. You and the boy snuggle at the couch, getting the a fresh new blanket near the laundry room. You were watching your little boy, observing his features attentively while he's asleep, but you realized he isn't dozing off when you held his cheek.
"Mom, you're not sleeping." he scolded you with his eyes closed, teeth gritted cutely. "It's nap time now." he reminded you with sass, suddenly acting like his dad whenever the vampire scolds you before.
"But mommy can't sleep." You mumbled the truth. You were anxious on falling asleep because of the black figure, not really sure if you'll be safe if you tried to dozed off. You then watch the boy flutter his eyes open, asking you why in such curious state. You don't want to scare him and thus made you think of an excuse. "Because Doyoung isn't here.."
The little boy knew you were pertaining to his dad and it made him look with you with doe eyes, pouting subconsciously. He sat up and look down at your lying state, curious on something. "Mommy do you miss daddy when he go to work?" he asked.
Dopyo saw you squint your eyes a couple times before you nod as a response. He let out a cute frown on the thought you miss his dad when he's away and he couldn't blame you, he misses him too even if Doyoung comes home everyday. "What do you do when daddy's at work mommy?"
You caught yourself surprise on his question and yet, you can't help but chuckle. You then recalled the past, reminiscing the times that Doyoung used to have work for three days to a week straight. You smiled widely, excusing yourself to get something again in the laundry room. You teleported for a second, going back at the living room wearing the hoodie Doyoung gave you years ago. "I wear this when he's away and wait for him to come back." you answered with a cheeky giggle.
The little boy settle on your lap and look at the hoodie, clearly remembering he saw that clothing a lot of times in the past. He then catch the smell of the hoodie and already knew why you wear it when Doyoung's away. "It smells like daddy~" the boy sang out of the blue, the two of you laughing because of it.
You spend the hour telling stories to your youngest on the times Doyoung's work is busy as heck, you narrating how you miss the vampire and have times you just sleep all the sulky emotions out instead of suffering on thinking about him the all day. You were enthuasiastic on narrating, wrapping your arms around Dopyo happily, having the fun of your life on reminiscing the past a lot.
The little one on your lap, was in all ears and attentively listening. His soft hands holding onto the dark green hoodie that you love, smiling widely on hearing your stories. He never knew how much joyous you are back then with Doyoung, surprised on your stories and is happy to heard it. "Daddy loves you so much, mommy." he mumbled the obvious, gums showing proudly as he grin.
"He does," you agreed, cheeks flushing in pink on the thought. You ran your hands on the kid's hair and chuckled. "And he loves you and Daisy too, so so much." you stated, your nose bumping to his and both of you laugh in contentment.
"Oh look, those two are sleeping."
Doyoung tilt his head towards his daughter and gave her a look, ruffling her hair aggressively. He then shush the girl from complaining loudly, reminding her that her mom and brother are asleep.
Daisy rolled her eyes for the millionth time of the day, her tiny arms crossed when her dad place her down to go to you and Dopyo. The girl trail her eyes on the other vampire, watching him kneel near the couch, Doyoung's hand are on your hair as he slowly wakes you up.
The girl watched you and Doyoung stare at each other with the cutest smile, your eldest cringing in disgust at the sight. She blinked her eyes when both of her parents chuckled at her, reading the girl's mind at how disgusted she is.
Doyoung commanded the eldest to go upstairs while the vampire carried Dopyo in his arms. You stare at your fiancรฉ while he gets the kids to bed and tuck them to sleep. You folded the blanket nicely and put it on a drawer nearby before you went up to your shared room with the vampire.
Minutes on, you look onto the door and saw the vampire entering the room. He walked near the bed and lay beside you, snickering on seeing you wearing the hoodie he gave you before. "I never imagine that you'll be wearing that again though." He murmured and engulf you into a heartwarming hug, his eyes slowly closing.
You were again listening on how his dat went, how behave your eldest is at the same time, Doyoung complaining that Daisy spend most of the time with Jaehyun on the half's office. You resisting to laugh at how annoyed the vampire is on the fact the girl love her uncle more than her own father.
The vampire yawned in exhaustion, too tired to even get up and change his shirt. He know you wouldn't mind it and let it be, his arms wrapped around your waist as he slowly falls asleep not until you spoke up from what you saw earlier.
"Are you sure what you saw was real?" He asked in a tired voice, forcing himself to stay awake to listen to you. "It's not that I don't believe you but I want to remind you that you haven't been sleeping a lot these days." he said in concern.
You face him, agreeing that you were losing sleep for no reason at all and Doyoung helping you to fall asleep. But despite of that, your thinking is still clear and you don't experience catching glimpses black shadows with your eye, that never ever happened to you being sleep deprived at all. "But it says it's coming from all of us." you murmured, bothered about it ever since.
"What's coming for us?"
"I-I don't know but it's scaring me.."
"Love," he softly spoke, opening his eyes to look at you with downturned lips. "You shouldn't worry on such things. Like what you said you're unsure if what you saw is indeed real. You should let go of what the black figure did and relax. Nothing will harm us there all right." he reassured you.
You nodded but your guts isn't convinced on the assurance, you felt like something is out there, waiting for a good moment to ruin all of this. You don't know what to do and if it's indeed true that someone is coming for all of you, shouldn't you tell the others?
Before you could even defend your stand and tell the vampire that what you saw is true, Doyoung already fell asleep due to exhaustion, snoring as he rest on the crook of your neck. You sigh silently, getting yourself comfy on his hug as you were still worried on whatever's coming for all of you.
And you have a bad feeling that everything will go down if that day comes...
