when i said the favorite book i wrote is revamp, i meant this—
The half bid goodbye to you for the sixth time of the hour, assuring you the kids will be fine. These past few days you were stressed, remembering him and feel so down, the three males notice it and keep convincing you to have a day just with yourself. At first, you didn't agree to it because you were afraid on being separated with your twins and you keep believing that you were still fine. Kun isn't that convince and thus he even made a petition about you taking a day break and it was signed by men you know, you sighing at how the older wad on crack on making that petition and asking for the neo vampires and halves signature. You then agreed, for the sake of getting away from their crack and just having time for yourself.
You were dressed up, actually didn't know where you are heading to but you really didn't care that much since, you're literally lost. You'll just let your feet take you whenever it wants and get out of the house for a while. You just want to let him get out of your mind for your own peace.
Ten watched you disappear, waving goodbye and telling you to stay safe. After you vanish, his eyes went to the twins who were watching a kid's movie. Ten walked inside the kitchen and saw a pile of dishes on the sink, the half washing the dishes as he hum. Over the years, he was always labelled as the "lazy one" when in fact he isn't, Kun is just using it for Ten to do work. Speaking about the older, Ten is frustrated that he shares the same day off with Kun. The two's friendship is sort of a mess, the two randomly helping each other out but mostly hating at one another. Despite of that, the two have a strong friendship and will be there for each other on their ups and down.
It didn't take long for Ten to finish the dishes and once he did, he dry up his hands and exit the kitchen. He stare at the flat screen tv the movie that the two is watching finally ended, making Ten walked near the table and grab the remote, shutting the tv. Ten heard a loud complain from the two but he just give them a cute smile. "It's time to do some homework you two"
"But I don't want to uncle Ten!" Daisy whined, crossing her arms. If she knew school was torturous, she couldn't have agreed on enrolling to school. She just hates it how she needs to study about writting when, she can't even write her own name. "Why do we have homework? we go to school everyday and we still need to do it at home, why!" she complained, groaning. She just want to watch tv all day.
You told Ten that the only assignment the two has is to get ready for next week on writing the alphabet and their names. Ten prepared a bond paper with lines with it, he doing the lines and making a guide on the names of the twins. He sat down on the floor, putting down three pencils and a sharpener just in case. He called the twins to come towards him, Dopyo being a good kid he is and walk towards his uncle, listening attentively on Ten's instruction. The little boy sat down quietly and tried copying the letters on the worksheet his uncle did. He has been practicing his handwriting weeks before and he is slightly getting used on writing, his penmanship isn't that stable yet but he's getting there.
Ten's eyes then went on Daisy, who was still sitting on the puzzled mat, arms crossed as she gave her uncle a glare, Ten finding the grumpy kid adorable as he slowly sat down with her. He talk to Daisy about her assignment and how it will benefit her if she practice. Daisy isn't that fond on learning, she isn't because all she wanted is to play. Ten was prolonging his temper, sighing when Daisy keeps saying she doesn't want to write, he was having a hard time convincing the girl. He then came upon an idea, "Whoever did the worksheets I made will receive an award!" Ten cheered, loudly.
Daisy, who was avoiding her uncle, tilt her head and face Ten, her attention instantly got caught on his words. "What's the a-awad?" Daisy asked, not really knowing the word but knows what it means, she just happens to know every good thing she does, she'll get a gift and that's why she barely behaves because she never gets gift for being nice anyway.
"It's award, sweetie." Ten corrected the girl, relief that it caught her attention. Well, knowing the kid clearly the half knew what will make Daisy to her homework. "I'll buy anything you two want, if you two finish the worksheet." he stated, smiling. But either way, he'll still spoil the twins because he loves them more than he loves his brother and so called boyfriend.
Daisy immediately stand up and walk towards the table, extending her hand to get a pencil. Dopyo rolled his eyes and gave the pencil that Daisy is getting, the older mumbling a thank you to him and the boy just hummed in response as he went back to writing. Daisy sat down beside him and look at the paper, eyes widening at the realization she'll need to fill up the whole sheet back to back, making her groan. It was to hard for her to do. "I'm gonna write all over this uncle Ten?" she asked, squinting her eyes repeatedly. She received a nod from the half and it made Daisy question if she'll still do the worksheet. It was pretty long for her to let her little hands to write back to back but she still push herself on writing. And what's her motivation you ask? it's her wanting to buy a rainbow colored pencil case she saw the other day, she just wants it and she'll get it, if she finish the long ass worksheet.
Ten was sitting down at the couch, scrolling on his phone to ease boredom. He block Johnny's number two days ago and he's glad he did because the older was being a pain in the ass when literally, Ten made it clear on when he'll forgive Johnny but the vampire kept bugging him and trying to let him change his mind. He put down on his phone and look down at the twins, a long sigh escaping his lips. He erased his thoughts and look at the twins' work, the half getting proud on the improvement of Dopyo's work while sighing at Daisy's. He thought that buying anything Daisy wants will make her write but it didn't, Daisy spend the whole time doodling on the paper and not doing what she was instructed to write. Ten let the child be and let the twins play, lips puckered at Daisy's paper whilst he stares at it. He sigh at the paper and didn't push the girl any further. Daisy really just wants to play and the half not taking it against her, she's just a kid and Ten understood it.
In the middle of the twins playing with their toys, Kun walked inside the room and is well dressed, he walked towards the half, eyeing on him as the older vampire sat down beside Ten. The older was carrying a little bowl and it was mashed avocados. "Ten, do me a favor and feed the two these mashed avocados?"
"m-mashed avocados?" Ten said back, uncertain and faltered. Hearing the said fruit made him freeze on his sit. No one knew why the half was scared on fruits and it's still a question for everyone as to why Ten was terrified on seeing fruits. "W-why will I do that?"
"Because I ask you to and I'm going somewhere." the older vampire said and didn't wait for Ten's reaction and Kun disappeared as he gave the half the small bowl.
The half panicked and place down the bowl on the table, his fear on fruits setting in, Ten spacing out. He was resisting the urge to tremble and he did when he heard Jaehyun's voice. He raised his head up, the twins standing up and hugging the male, their uncle laughing at the two and carrying them. That's when Ten know how to escape on feeding the kids, he asked the male to feed the twins, Jaehyun raising a brow at Ten, teasing him because of the fruit.
"I-I'm going with Johnny," Ten said, using the tall vampire as an excuse. The special half was shock, remembering the two had an argument that no one knows as to why. Jaehyun asked if the two already made up and Ten had to lie for him to escape. "Y-yeah, that's w-why I'll be going out with Johnny."
"And why did I heard my name?"
Ten let out a loud shrieked, the twins blinking at being startled on Ten's sudden scream. The half locked his eyes on the tall vampire who just entered the room. He felt his cheeks burning, finding it surprising on seeing the vampire when he'll use him as an excuse. Johnny put his hands on his pocket, waiting for Ten to answer him but all did Ten did was grit his teeth and force a smile. "On second thought, I'll be going all alone now, p-peace out!" Ten exclaimed and instantly vanished on their sight.
The two tall males watched the instant disappearance on the half and shrug, focusing their attention to the twins. Jaehyun playing with the two as he see how Johnny was spacing out and staring blankly. The peach questioning what the fight was about and having no clue about it. Usually the older will speak about the argument but now he isn't and same with Ten, but what's stopping the two lovers from sharing the quarrel?
Jaehyun wanted to ask the older about the conflict but didn't want to meddle in their business. Like what Johnny said "not my problem." so it isn't his problem at all. He was really clueless about that matter but was unbothered on it. He learned his lesson on being bothered when he was younger and will never care even for a bit ever again. He instead continue on playing with the twins. Letting the tall vampire be and cherish the little ones with him, for him, the two is the most precious gift someone who could ask for, he's just fond with kids and wished he'll have one for his own, but he can't, yet, since his girlfriend isn't at that age yet. So for the very least, he'll spoil his niece and nephew first and enjoy the two as they are still little.
Eventually the twins got bored, Dopyo just wanted to sit down and solve the addition worksheet Ten misplace. Daisy, who likes challenging her own brother, sat down beside him and glance over the paper Dopyo's writing at. After seeing the addition sign on his paper, Daisy immediately ran into the few pile of paper that Ten left her, oddly finding the same paper from her brother. She let out a sneaky giggle, earning Dopyo's attention. The boy raised a brow on his sister, rolling his eyes in disbelief, she'd doing it wrong again. "How many times do I have to tell you, one plus one is two?" he scoffed, disappointed on the elder.
The older look down at her paper and realized what her brother meant, this time it's her turn to scoff. "Why will you care about my answer?"
The two males who were talking about random stuff halt their conversation as the two's squabbles were dominantly heard from the living room. The two males look at the kids, who were standing up and glaring at one another, hands formed at fist as the two were controlling their temper on killing one another. Johnny, who was concern on where the two's bicker will be going, stare at Jaehyun. The special half at the other mind, was unbothered as expected. Unlike Johnny, he was pretty chill on the sight of the two hissing at one another, Jaehyun finding the two cute and cooing at them. Yes, that's how unbothered he is and clueless on what's happening over his surrounding.
"I told you!" Daisy gritted her teeth, grabbing a sharp less crayon and harshly gripping on it. "One plus one is three!" she yelled, she saying that she's right when the truth that she's the opposite she one hundred twenty seven percent wrong.
"But that doesn't work that way Daisy!" Dopyo protested at the older, also gritting his teeth. It was a rare sight for everyone to see the boy be this frustrated, and the only reason he'll be mad is his own twin sister.
"I don't care," Daisy snorted, rolling her eyes because of her anger. The thing that the girl hates is when someone tells her about things, especially her brother who's always right. "My paper, my world, my life. I do what I want because I want to!, when I say one plus one is three, I say so! It's my own rules so stop telling me what to do!" she said, brows furrowed at the older, she's so done with him. Her eyes was fuming in anger, her vampire eyes turning to dark red. She was mad—no, she was furious, too much that she flew at Dopyo and stabbed him with a crayon.
Johnny let out a gasp when he's witnessing the twins fighting, stabbing each other with harmless crayons and yelling. The vampire stare at Jaehyun, telling him to stop his niece and nephew but the special half was preoccupied on adoring the little ones, not really aware that Daisy was already straggling her brother's hair in front of him. Johnny just stood there, frozen and couldn't believe that the two fought for simple addition.
Yangyang was casually entering the living room, eyes widen at the view of the twins fighting and the two older males just watching the two. The sheepish male immediately ran his way and carried Daisy, and from that action made the girl get more furious. Yangyang let out a shriek when the girl was fighting the male's grip, the human screamed when Daisy got away from the male and was chasing Dopyo, the little boy stop running away and fought Daisy again. Yangyang ran towards the fighting siblings, calling his hyungs to help him, desperately calling them out. Johnny who finally snap back at his thoughts, immediately teleported to scoop Daisy up, the girl having no power on escaping Johnny's strong grip and groaning loudly at the thought, she was still about to bury her twin brother six feet below hell.
"Kim Daisy, calm down gheez.." Johnny asked the girl, unintentionally making his voice in a stern tone. The little girl got startled on the scary voice of her uncle but that doesn't stop he from being furious. Johnny continued looking onto the furious child, subconsciously smiling at the resemblance of Daisy by her father. Johnny let out a low giggle, remembering Doyoung on his angry days, guess Daisy got her mad side on him. "You really act like your father don't you, Daisy?" Johnny joked, ruffling her hair.
Daisy, who was furious and wanted to freak out, had herself soften at the remark, eyes blinking. "I have a dad?" she asked, stunned at her uncle's words. Hearing that from the girl made both Jaehyun and Yangyang stiffed at their places, panic is visibly seen in their eyes. They know that you didn't let the twins know about Doyoung, even if the kids deserve to know about it, you never told them. They understand where you are coming at, you just protecting the kids at the harsh reality that their dad isn't with them anymore. The two males panic, being stressed at how to answer the girl's question, it was too soon and yet, you weren't there. Johnny was questioning the panic the two is currently experiencing. The tall vampire read their thoughts, eyes showing how shock he is at what he just did.
The three males knew (mostly Johnny), they fucked up, big time.
It was night time already, a quarter to nine. The twins are already in their pajamas and was being accompanied by Yangyang on staying at their room, getting ready for bedtime.
Ever since earlier, when Johnny said that Daisy acted like her father without thinking that you never mentioned him to the kids, the three stayed at the living room, Johnny explaining the thing that you can never explain to your kids. It was a hard task for the tall male, finding words that will be understandable for the young ones, also keeping in mind that you don't want the kids to get hurt. In the end, Johnny executed the explanation smoothly, Jaehyun telling the kids that their father went to somewhere far away and is watching them, checking if they are behaving or not. Yangyang backing up the half when he's struggling
Johnny wanted to laugh at the two's suffering but he remained quiet. They didn't know anything, not even a single thought. He really didn't mean to spill it on the twins, but he have no regrets with the action. In the end of the day, they still need to know about Doyoung anyway.
Yangyang placed the twins to bed, sitting beside Daisy who is convincing the male that she still isn't sleepy yet, wanting to wait for you. Daisy wasn't given an option by the human male, it's either she sleeps or dozed off, which frankly have the same meaning. That's when the girl thought of a brilliant idea. "Uncle yang, can you read us a bedtime story?" she asked, sweetly, as if she wasn't wanting to murder Dopyo earlier.
The sheepish male agreed, letting Daisy float to get a book. He watched the girl floating near the shelf, finding a good book for Yangyang to read, the girl finding a thick large book. Before Daisy could ever think of carrying the book and hurt herself, the male already stand up and grab the book, mouthing his curses at the realization how heavy the book was. He then told Daisy to sit beside Dopyo since Daisy knew how to fly and is a vampire. Yangyang hearing groans from the little one but eventually following the command. The sheepish male sat down with the two, opening the first page and realizing that he isn't holding a book, it was your photo album.
"Oooh, who's that uncle yang?" Dopyo asked, pointing a baby photo.
Yangyang let out a giggle on the two's cuteness, wanting to pinch their cheeks. "Its your mom." he answered, smiling.
During you last trimester, you were bored to death and since Yangyang was with you, you toured the younger on your photo album, telling all the memories you filled on the album. Since the twins were eager to see your pictures, Yangyang didn't hesitate to let the kids see it, the male chuckling as he remember every detail you said on the said photo. He told the twins everything, from you having a picture of Taeil when you were one, you entering kindergarten and the self portrait you took when you were working. Yangyang was smiling at the sight on the kids cooing at their own mother, adoring you and giggling. He already knew whom did they get the trait from.
Yangyang stop talking when he flipped on the next page, realizing that you place your photos with Doyoung on the album. He panicked, wanting to close the album but it's already too late, the kids already saw the photos. He stiffened at his place, looking at the two's reaction intently. Dopyo tilting his head on the older and Daisy doing the same. Yangyang smiled nervously, praying that he won't get asked, but sadly, his prayer didn't come true.
"Uncle yang, who's this guy?" Daisy asked, eyeing on the photos. Realizing that the guy looked the same
