tmi: because of me getting stressed on Daisy's personality on this book, i literally called my cat Daisy because my cat is being mean to me and being stubborn. i deadass can't stop wheezing—

Your have your brows knitted when your sleep is interrupted. You open your eyes midway, groaning at annoyance. You have a hand reaching on the nightstand, getting your phone and turning the disturbing ringtone and going back to slumber land.  You were almost dozing off, but something was bugging your mind and you have no clue, it feels like you're forgetting something.

You immediately sat up upon realization, the kids need to go to school today.

You look onto your left, eyes shock when you didn't see Daisy nor her shadow on the bed. You didn't waste any second to grab your phone and rushed on the twins' room, no trail of any of the twins seen nor their shadows. You started panicking, opening your phone not being a good help when it's already nine, the kids were already an hour late because you didn't wake up on time. Your nervousness reached up the heavens, touching the clouds and you can already feel your heart palpitate. You went downstairs, calling for the twins but you receive no response from any of the two. 

"Chillax y/n, the kids are already in school." that's the first thing you heard from the half once you enter the kitchen. Ten shown a tint of worry behalf on your panicked state, he knew that you just woke up seconds ago and it's concerning him on you looking so anxious. He then called you to sit beside him, voice in a calming tone and wanting you to loosen up. After a minute of the half asking you take deep breathes, he then made a worried remark. "Gheez nugget, you should really get used on the two not being present in your eyes all the time." 

You watched the half sip on his precious coffee while he stares at you, concerned at your state. You raised a brow, that isn't the reason why you were panicking, his thoughts is way beyond far on your reason. "I was panicking because I thought the kids aren't in school, it's not that good to let the twins get used on being late. Regardless if it's reasonable or not, they should learn to always be or do things in time." you commented, letting yourself get a sandwich that has mayo and lettuce. You took a bite and enjoy the precious sandwich, eyes on the half as you wonder who brought the kids to school. "So, you took the kids to school?" you asked, taking another bite on what you're eating.

The half let out a creeping smile, making you knit your brows as you chew your food. "No, Dongyoung did." he answered, an expected laugh escape his lips when you choke on the answer. Ten being no help but to watch your suffering in amusement. He really loves teasing you, especially if the stubborn vampire is involved, like most cases.

"W-why do you always love seeing me suffer?" you scoffed, glad that you have enough rest to use your ability to get water. Sometimes— no, at most times, Ten is being a pain in the ass when he overdo his teasing, it was simply annoying you, big time. "I thought I was your precious nugget that you love and adore, what's with the harsh treatment?" you asked, pissed when Ten still have the courage to laugh when you're already this close to commit murder on the half.

Ten laugh for a few more moments before he finally lets it go, finding it enough now. He had a hand on your hair, messing it up as he ruffles it aggressively, earning an annoyed groan from you. "Yeah, you are precious nugget but that doesn't mean you're excluding on my teasing, I treat you the same way as I treat Yangyang." he answered, chuckling loudly at the sight of you rolling your eyes. He was joking, he just loves to tease you because how cute you look when you're fuming. He knows and gets why Doyoung loves to tease you in any way possible.

You snorted on Ten's statement and sat quiet, not wanting your morning to be ruined because of Ten teasing you so early. You didn't bother yourself to argue back on the half because there's no point. You started spacing out, thinking about Ten's answer earlier. "You aren't kidding on Doyoung sending the kids to school?"  

"Yeah, he really did. Kinda cute if you ask me." he giggled and place both of his feet on the table, he let out a muffled grunt when you smack on his legs, scolding him. He shrug all of your nags and didn't think twice to close his ears. Ten was already receive an earful of nags from both Kun and Doyoung, and you adding up was already more than enough for him. "He passed by around seven, asking if you were already awake. I told him you were still sleeping and that's when he told not to wake you up. Doyoung was being considerate and felt guilty on you having restless nights because of the two of you arguing. He asked me to help him since, he isn't used on taking care of the twins, but he thought wrong, he did well and I didn't help him that much. You're lucky for the day nugget, he seems to be in a good mood, which it rarely happens in the office." he rest his back on the chair and smiled. His smile enwiden when he saw you blushing on the discovery, finding you irresistibly cute. He close his eyes and open his ears and mind on hearing your thoughts ran freely, getting entertain on your thinking.

You were processing everything that you've heard, squinting your eyes on the thought that Doyoung asked for Ten not to wake you up because he knew how tired you are for the previous days. You feel flattered on his concern, smile subconsciously forming onto your lips. You started wondering on your own thoughts, using your imagination as you recreate that moment that you wished you could have witness earlier.  You tittered, badly want to see how the twins could have react on their father helping them to prepare to school and Doyoung being the one who'll get to send his kids. You're now curious, if the twins were behaved and listen to him. You weren't that worried since Dopyo is an obedient kid and Daisy, loves her dad and from the looks of it the girl will most likely listen to him more than she could ever listen to you. You were now wanting to see the kids with their dad and is now curious on how the three are when they're together. Guilt crash into your veins on you realizing you're were such a terrible person on keeping the two away from him.

But you know, it isn't too late to change things right?

You came upon realization when your mind involutarily thought about Doyoung. He's been helping you with Dopyo on the hospital, not hesitating on spending his break with the kid and assisting you. He's also been doing a lot of things for you and the twins despite of his hectic work schedule and feeling tired. You have your lips downturned, you knew that it was hard for me to adjust because, he was brought back to life and you know how crazy that could have feel on his shoes.

From all the things he have done for you and the twins, you were thankful and appreciating the effort. And you already know how to thank him.

You left the twins on the house with Kun and Ten, the two asking where were you going but you assured them that you'll be delivering something. The twins didn't bother to investigate any further and continued to play with their toys.

You decided to make lunch, not only for Doyoung, for Jaehyun and Taeil as well (you were still mad at Taeil from the secret but, you still care for his well being knowing he has the most busiest job from the corp). You were at the corp, walking through the enormous hallways. You've been into the this place countless of times: from letting Hyuck to escape, visiting Taeil, and mostly, you go to the corp because Taeil made this "rule" from you and your siblings to gather in one room and catch up for the loss of contact from each other's busy lives.

You were sort of relieved that no vampire even dare to get near or touch you. Unlike the first time you went inside the building, Taeil made it clear to his employees that no one, literally no vampire (people you truly known is excepted from this) or dhampir will touch you because, they will face a tortorous punishment. Taeil was well aware on what you experienced with a scary vampire. He didn't want his favorite kid to ever feel scared ever again on passing by the building. Eversince he told the people about that, you were respected as expected to everyone to do, people getting scared on doing anything to you and avoiding you. They didn't what to mess with the ruler's daughter since she was very well known on being his favorite.

After a long boring walk on the enormous hallway, you finally arrive at the main building, you uttering a wide smile on seeing Jungwoo from the reception desk. You greeted the older, earning a cute giggle from him. "Hi woo~"

"Hi y/n," he greeted, propping his elbows on the desk, looking at your little figure. He smiled sweetly, his eyes are at the computer beside him. "What can I do for you?"

The vampire shifted his eyes on you, his eyes caught the plastic bag that your left hand is holding. Jungwoo already knows your purpose of visit, getting used on seeing you atleast once or thrice a month at the building. He titter cutely, you finding the male charmingly adorable. "So, delivering lunch boxes again, are we?" he joked, making you chuckle.

You nodded, staring at the sideview of his computer. Jungwoo then asked you if you wanted to see Taeil, in which you immediately answer a no. Jungwoo sense that you weren't in the mood to talk to the ruler and he understood that, keeping his mouth shut and respecting you. You asked the vampire if your brother was available and Jungwoo told you to wait for a minute while he looks into the peach's schedule. You waited in thick silence, a hand on the desk and tapping your fingers onto it.

It was taking more than a minute for Jungwoo to check for Jaehyun's schedule because the computer was lagging. You assured Jungwoo that it's alright and you can patiently wait. While the tall male is waiting for the computer to stop lagging, your eyes notice a vampire passing by the area. From your visits, you remember that his name is Lucas, a tall vampire who's a guard from the vampire prison. While looking onto the giant vampire, his eyes laid on you. You can read his thoughts that he's well aware on who you are. You were the precious y/n, the only daughter of the ruler.

Lucas walks near Jungwoo's desk and stare at you, unaware that you can also read minds like most people possess on this realm. He rest his elbow on the desk, remembering the rumors that is rampant all over the office. "Wait isn't this the girlfriend of Doyoung-hyung? The one who was really broken when hyung died? Oh my god, I wonder how she feels on finding out that her boyfriend is brought back from the dead. Damn that could have feel messed up, but why does she look like she's fine with it? The rumors were saying that she and Doyoung-hyung always fight. Why will she fight with hyung when basically, she wanted this to happen and ask for it?" the vampire thought, completely looking at you, mind wondering in curiosity.

Seeing Lucas' stare at you was already making you feel uneasy, and reading his thoughts adds another level of uncomfort on your edge. You avoided his gaze, biting your lips harshly. You were now tense, both of your hands holding the strap of the plastic bag harshly. It was really disturbing that people on the office were spreading rumors about you and Doyoung, and the fact that people thought you were the one fighting Doyoung when it's the opposite. Also, sure you wanted him to be alive again but you never asked Taeil to do so, you weren't begging for all of this at all.

Jungwoo felt a tense feeling on your place, he cocked his head onto you, reading your thoughts with full transparency. He then looked at Lucas, glaring at the guy and didn't waste a second to spank the younger's head brutally, Lucas was caught off guard on the action and have his eyes darted on Jungwoo. The older snorted, finding it hilarious that Lucas had the audacity to be angry. "Wong Yukhei, are you aware that y/n  is a special half like Jaehyun-hyung?, meaning, she can also read mind like the rest of us. Also, aren't you disturb knowing you made her uncomfortable by your thoughts?"

Lucas realized his fault and immediately apologized to you, getting an earful of scold from the older vampire. The giant vampire kept apologizing to you, thinking that maybe his head will be cut off on messing with you. Jungwoo rolled his eyes at the male, shooing him away and assured him no head of his will be chop off. Jungwoo watched the male exit the area before he apologized behalf of Lucas and telling you how curious the boy is.

"I'm sorry for that y/n, I apologize on you hearing those nonsense rumors. I know the truth and I know you're more than the people think about you." The vampire apologized on Lucas' actions and you told Jungwoo that it's fine. The vampire then went back on looking on the computer, seeing that your brother's schedule is free for the hour. "Since your his sister, you can just knock on the door of his office. You can go now y/n, I'll just send a notice that he's expecting a visitor."

You thanked the vampire and excused yourself, sighing heavily on hearing that nasty rumor. Since there's an on going talk about you on the office, you teleported in front of Jaehyun's office to avoid people and their thoughts on you. You took a deep breathe, letting go of those thoughts and rumors as you exhale. You weren't expecting that people will spread rumors on you and your boyfriend, they should learn on their own business and respect one's privacy.

You grab all of your courage on knocking on the door, you hearing a baritoned voice and instructed you to come in. You quietly open the door, looking inside Jaehyun's black and white office. As you enter his office, you can observe that leap of his chair was facing you, your brother was talking to his girlfriend and bidding her goodbye. Jaehyun swing his swivel chair to face his expected visitor, fixing his sweatshirt and was looking at it. He then raise his head, eyes blinking on you being his visitor. He smiled at you widely, waving his hand and greeting you. "Hi sis, whatchu doing here at my office?" He asked cutely, using his adorable charms on seeing you.

You walked towards a sit infront of him and have your eyes on his office. You sat down, and instead of answering him, you also ask a question. "Why are there a place mat and toys at that side of your office?" you raised a finger and pointed the half the left side of his office that is filled with kids' toys.

"I got bored and wanted to add spice on my boring office." He answered casually, making you shift your glance at him, completely weirded out on the older. Jaehyun let out a cheeky smile, hands resting on the desk whilst he locked his eyes on you. "Or, I'm just involuntary preparing myself on having kids. Who knows, maybe I'll be a father soon." 

Remembering that his girlfriend is years younger than you, and probably younger than Jaemin, it made you stare at Jaehyun with a brow raised. "Isn't your girlfriend underage?" You scoffed, completely weirded on your brother in a higher level.

The half didn't let himself answer your question and remained unbothered (come to think of it, when was did he even care for anything?). Jaehyun just stare you, eyes roaming around and hoping he'll see his favorite kids with you, but sadly, no sign of the twins is seen in his office. "Where are the kids?" he asked, somewhat changing the topic.

"At home, I didn't let them go with me." from your statement, it made the older groan in dismay. Jaehyun actually prepared the mats on his office so that he have the greatest excuse on borrowing the kids and bring the two on his office one day. You shut your eyes close on Jaehyun being whiny, you were finding him weird today, extremely weird as always. "Also, I need to talk about something with you."

"Is this about your boyfriend, again?" He asked sternly, earning a nod from you. Jaehyun, who is being a weirdo like he always is, started being dramatic. A torturing whines can be heard from him. At this point, you were sort of regretting on coming inside his office. A tint of disappoinment on seeing Jaehyun act like a toddler despite of being a hundread years older than you. "I already told you two, I ain't a love doctor. Why are you and Doyoung always come at my office just to rant about each other? I have a life to you know." He groaned, being so dramatic and acting like he needs to pay his rent that is due today.

You just watch the dramatic brother of yours being extra, your elbow resting on the desk and patiently wait for him to finish so called act. After a brief moment, you were relieved he finally compose himself and that's when you told him the purpose on your visit on his office. "I actually came here b-because I already made my mind. I want him back at the house and in my life c-completely." 

"Oh god, finally, some peace from the two of you!" Jaehyun sigh in relief, giggling cheekily when he saw your brows kniited. He smiled at you, mumbling a  sorry and intertwine both of his hands, elbows still propping in the desk. "So, how will you tell him?" 

"That's a question I ask myself too, I really don't know how." you confessed, not having a clue on how to talk to him about it. Your plan on finally getting him back completely is a challenging part for you. You haven't even got to think on how to approach Doyoung on this, mind clearly vague on what you wanted. "I'm still thinking about it, I just thought about making up with him last night."

Jaehyun nodded, understanding your concern and your state. He knew it's hard for you but he's visibly proud on his sister right now, finally facing your fear. He spaced out for a good moment, thinking on how to help you, and he did have an idea. "Do you want me to ask Kun-hyung and Ten to take the kids out for you and Doyoung to talk?" he suggested.
