I stared out the window of my cramped dorm room of the boarding school in Oklahoma City approximately 1.5 hours away from my home town - Tulsa.

I hated it here, it was so boring, I had no friends, I'm always getting in trouble, the food was horrible, and I couldn't listen to any music!

My parents sent me because I got in to one too many fights, they thought it would 'straighten me out'. Well they thought wrong.

I paced back and forth in my tiny suffocating dorm room, counting my steps to pass time.

"Stop that would you" a croaky voice came from across the room.

I look over and realise it was just my dorm mate - Veronica.

"Just go back to sleep" I snapped and sat on my bed.

"Why don't you?" She rubbed her eyes and looked over at the clock "it's 12am".

"Whatever" I shooed her and lay down on my back.

"Asshole" Veronica whispered under her breath and lay back down facing her back towards me.

"What was that!?" I snapped.

"Nothing" she sighed tiredly.

"Mhm" I rolled my eyes.

"Mhm" That's the last I heard of her, I think she fell asleep.

I wasn't tired at all I just stared at the ceiling when a sudden idea hit me - I could call Madison to get me out.

Madison my best friend since 3rd grade, she has always been affectionate and kind hearted person, I was always jealous of her for that, I wish I could care for people like she does but I don't, I don't know I just don't, she could be a model if she wasn't a greaser, silky blonde hair, forest green eyes, she is the kind of girl u would stop and stare at when you see her.

I haven't seen her in 4 months, I hate to admit it but I did miss her a lot, like a lot but I would never tell her that.

I picked up my phone and dialled her number, I impatiently waited for her to pick up.

I was about to leave the curtis house since it was getting late, not like my parents would give a fuck if i didnt show up anyways.

Suddenly my phone rings, I pick up after a few rings.

"Hello?" I said in to the phone.

"Maddy hey" a voice from the other line said.

"Who's this?" I was confused.

"It's me Cami, I need you to pick me up ASAP". The person said

"Camilla? You want me to get you? From boarding school? What did u do this time?" I say in shock.

"uh, ill tell you everything when you get me I can't be is this shit hole anymore please Maddy" Camilla pleaded

"I need parent permission anyways" I complain

"It's fine I'll sneak out" Camilla said with no emotion.

"I- fineee.. I'll be there in and hour and a half" I said annoyed at the last part

"THANKS YOUR THE BESTT" Camilla whisper-yelled.

I got up and got my jacket from the rack.

"Where you off too in such a hurry" my boyfriend Sodapop asked flashing his charming smile.

"I need to get my friend from boarding school, she sneaking out, can anyone come for company?" I begged.

"hell yeah sounds like fun!" Sodapop jumped up.

"im in" dally siad already heading for the car "lets go bust her out"

"hey can i come Madison" a voice came form behind me. I turn around - it was Johnny.

"Yeah of course you can, come on" I smiled at him, he returned the gesture.

I got into the passenger seat as Sodapop was already in the drivers seat. Dally and Johnny got into the backseats with a few complaints from dally. And off
we go!

An hour and a half later i heard a rumble of a car engine outside. I stuck my head out the window and saw madisons old beat up car, my heart raced with excitement, I was finally getting out of this prison

I saw 3 other figures in the car.

I waved at them through the window and looked down the long jump ahead, I was 2 stories high, and there was a big puddle right beneath me.

"Fuck" I sighed.

I grabbed my packed bag and threw it out the window.

"What the fuck are you doing" I heard someone say behind me as I felt tap on my shoulder.

I spun around and there stood before me Veronica.

I climbed out onto the windowsill.

"Escaping" I grinned. One leg at a time i dangled from the window gripping the ledge tightly.

Her eyes widened "get back in here Camilla"

She tried to grab me but just in time I jumped down into the puddle with a big splash, a sharp pain shooting through my ankle.

"SUCKERR!!" I shouted up at her flipping her off

"FUCK YOU CAMILLA" she snapped slamming the window shut. i giggled and limped over to Maddison's car.

We pulled up to the boarding school, the engine purring quietly, the place looked dauting as ever, i glanced over at sodapop and madison both of them looking tense.

"There she is" Dally whispers pointing at a figure waving through the window on the second floor, Suddenly the window brust open and a bag came flying out.

I saw her mouth "Fuck". Suddenly she spun around and there was two figures arguing.

Next thing you know there is a girl climbing out of a window.

"you dont think she is actually gonna jump, do you?" Sodapop asked his head practically out of the car window.

Before we could react, the girl leaped out the window, her hair flying wildly around her. She landed in a puddle right on her ankle.

"SUCKERR" she yelled up and flipped the figure off

Dally chuckled, "I like her". "FUCK YOU CAMILLA" a voice shouted back down.

The girl giggled and limped over the the car and jumped in right next to me.

She was real pretty up close.

"Jesus Camilla you good" Madison asked her wide eyed.

"Never better, finally out of that shit hole" she grinned and looked over at me Dallas and Sodapop

"Who are the snacks" she asked smirking

I felt my face go hot and I tried to hide it by looking down on my lap.

Madison rolled her eyes and sighed "this is my boyfriend Sodapop," she said exaggerating the word 'boyfriend' "damn girl" she grinning at Sodapop.

"that's Dallas-" she started but dally cut her off "dally, no one calls me Dallas" she nodded and looked him up and down "okay, Dallas" she grinned before looking at me and dally rolled his eyes.

"And this is...?" She asked putting her leg up to her knee to inspect her ankle

"That's Johnny" she said looking at her threw to rearview mirror "he's... shy" she said looking back at the road

She nodded looking down at her bleeding ankle. I look over slightly to her ankle as she sighs and grumbles a few curse words under her breath before hiding her ankle

"you alright" I ask quietly kinda hoping she wouldn't hear me, but she did.

"and he speaks" she chuckled "I'll be alright, Johnny"

my stomach fluttered as she said my name, but I looked down quickly and nodded still smiling.
