THIRD PERSON POV

Sunoo knocked on Sunghoon's room and waited for his reply. After He Said a soft come-in, the red-haired took a lot of his strength to enter the room but he felt like his soul left his body when he saw his letter and sketches in front of Sunghoon who was staring at him with his signature cold expression.

Be brave Sunoo... Be brave... He is a good man... Well is he? Sunoo was trying to calm himself while blinking continuously, lips turning down with the different thoughts.

"Aren't you gonna move on? Or... You are planning to just stare at the floor?" Sunghoon snapped at him and he suddenly moved like a puppet being controlled.

"Sit." Sunghoon pointed to the couch opposite his chair and Sunoo quickly followed the order although he was totally uncomfortable on the most comfortable couch he ever used before. Sunoo stared at him for a long moment without saying anything and the poor boy gulped in nervousness.

Sunghoon slid the Sketch Towards Sunoo who hesitated to look up at him while chewing his poor lip in utter nervousness.

"You drew it?"

"U- umm Ye- yes." The voice was barely a whisper but suddenly he gulped before stating his words in a little high tone.

"O- ok, I am sorry for doing so. But I just wanted to thank you. I know I am quite stupid for my acts but still, I just followed my heart." Sunoo mumbled the last part while Sunghoon was listening to him with full attention.

Sunghoon sighed before speaking calmly, putting one leg over the other.
"You are going to college from tomorrow"

"Mr. Park... I said I am sor.. Wait, WHAT!?" Sunoo gasped while putting his palm on his mouth when the words slowly seeped down his panicked mind. He thought hen overheard it. But nope, the slightly gentle demeanor of the mafia leader said otherwise.

"Yes, don't you want to complete your degree?" Sunghoon calmly got up from his seat while taking a bag and placing it in front of Sunoo.

"I do. But, I don't have enough money for that." Sunoo said in disbelief as his hands got busy to see the contents of the bag and when he opened the bag it was stuffed with books he needed. Feeling so much grateful, he looked up with so thankful eyes.

"Everything is settled. All you need is to move your ass to college from tomorrow and," That slightly gentleness in those dark eyes disappeared for a second as he continued. "Don't disappoint me because I trust you that you won't try to run away,"

Sunghoon explained as he moved to his bed, grabbing his phone but his head was trying to look back when Sunoo spoke.

"Really? I mean.. I.. Thanks... Thanks for everything, Mr. Park. I am really thankful." Tears were brimming in his eyes.. tears of happiness, his heart making him feel this much happy after so long.

"Now go and sleep early." Sunghoon didn't look back because he knew that red-haired must be crying, clear from his voice and he didn't want to see him cry. Why?? Don't ask me yet...

"Good night," Sunoo mumbled while wiping his tears but with his smile never leaving his plump lips. The time when he turned to go out of Sunghoon's room, the raven-haired quickly turned to see him, just couldn't hold the urge to glance back and he just saw a side profile of him. A cute  smile on his face, tears on his cheeks, holding the bag like his life depended on it.. Sunghoon smiled...

He smiled.

Sunoo rushed to his room, quickly going through all of the stuff he got minutes ago from his captor. He looked up at the ceiling...

"Mom, you see.. I am going to complete my degree. I am so happy.. It's all because of him. I am really thankful for his deeds." Sunoo was crying with the same smile, oblivious to the fact that his captor was watching his every move but not with anger but with some other feeling swirling in his orbs.

That night, Sunoo tried a lot to sleep but his excitement didn't let him do so. But thankfully after midnight finally he fell asleep.

In next morning, Sunoo was the first one to wake up in the whole mansion. He quickly showered and changed into a blue sweater and jeans.

It was 7 am when he was about to leave... of course without breakfast as Niki was still sleeping and he still feel a bit awkward using things in the mansion so freely except for the stuff provided in his room.

"I will drop you." Sunghoon muttered, walking ahead of him and Sunoo quietly followed happily but a bit confused too at the sudden appearance.

The whole ride was silent but happiness was visible on Sunoo's face. He was knocking on his knees in excitement and it didn't go unnoticed by Sunghoon who glanced at him from time to time but still kept a blank face.

College was quite far from the mansion so Sunghoon told him that Kang-min will pick him up and the younger just nodded to that. Once at the gate of the college, sunoo  The whole day was good for Sunoo as his teachers were so much happy for him. All of his batches were already graduated so all of his classmates were new to him. But he didn't care much as far as he was able to complete his degree.

At the noon, Kang-min picked him up as he was ordered and when he reached the mansion, Ni-ki welcomed him and they talked for a while. Sunoo said he was tired as he couldn't sleep well last night so he went to his room to sleep and unexpectedly he didn't wake up for dinner even when Ni-ki tried a lot to wake him up.

The next morning Ni-ki woke up early to make breakfast for Sunoo but the younger didn't have his breakfast, he said he was late because he had to go there by himself as Sunghoon was sleeping. He walked to the campus by himself...

He walked to the campus by himself... why? Because he had no money and he didn't want to ask for some from anyone.. already feeling grateful for everything.

The day was so much busy as the teacher told him he had to do a lot of work so he must be late for today, that's why he told Ni-ki not to send Kang-min to pick him up.

It was 1 pm when Sunoo was sitting near the cafe feeling so damn hungry but as the poor boy didn't have any money, he decided to go back to his class to avoid the tempting smell of food. He didn't eat anything since the night Sunghoon told him about college, too excited, right?

"I should have at least taken something from the fridge," Sunoo mumbled while shutting his eyes to avoid his hunger pang, trying to keep himself busy.

The rest of the day passed when his teacher called for him for extra work.

Around 6 pm, he was walking on the road, his stomach tired of growling by now. It was getting dark and the cold breeze wasn't helping much, causing him to curl up in himself as he walked with as much speed as he could. He continued walking until he felt a bit dizzy, he shook his head to clear the view which started to be slightly blurry.

"No, no.. Sunoo don't you dare... its near... just a bit more.."

Sunoo scolded himself, widening his eyes to see better but it didn't help him. His vision got blurry as black dots started to invade his vision when he bumped into a pillar, falling on the road. The last thing he heard was a screeching Sound of a car when he blacked out completely.

"Why he is so late?" Ni-ki mumbled while looking at his wristwatch, the level of his worries rising with every passing second. He was getting worried for the weak boy who was literally surviving on the water for the past 2 days. In the end, he thought to talk with Sunghoon and went to his room.

"Than... Sunoo-hyung is not back yet. I am worried about him." Ni-ki said in a low voice as Sunghoon was looking at some papers. The said male quickly snapped his head on hearing that, boring his eyes on Ni-ki with anger who instantly understood the unspoken question behind it.

"Actually, he told me that he would be late because of his make-up classes so.. He doesn't have any idea when he will be free that's why he said not to send Kang-min." Ni-ki scratched his neck while explaining... mentally prepared for what was coming next.

Sunghoon slammed his hands on the table harshly, making the other male flinch.

"What if he tries to run? How could you be so careless?" Sunghoon snapped at him in anger but Ni-ki was looking at him in confusion

"Do you really think that? THAN! the boy is hungry for care and love. He would never do such things to hurt us. Moreover, he didn't say a word about what happened days ago. He didn't even ask for some money while he must need some." Ni-ki almost huffed in frustration, slightly disappointed by the judging remark, and Sunghoon was taken aback by the reality.

Awkward silence in the room was disturbed by a phone ringing... it was Ni-ki's phone who quickly picked up with a frown on seeing an unknown.

"Yes?"

"What!? Ok ok. I am coming.."

"Shit." Ni-ki words were more confusing for Sunghoon and his action was more noticeable. He rushed out of Sunghoon's room without telling him anything and Sunghoon frowned,

"It was from hospital. Sunoohyungisinhospital.
hegotintoanaccident. lamgoingtothehospital."

Ni-ki said in a great hurry before rushing out of the room again.. thanks to Sunghoon's sharp mind that translated the words successfully.
Sunghoon sighed before slumping down on his chair.

"I hope you're fine."

A low voice echoed through his room that once again left his lips without much notice but, the great change was those words that were the first to echo in his room..
