"Ivy, if we get bugs I swear-" Ronnie ranted as she watched plants and flowers of the sort fill the room.

"We won't get bugs, Ronnie, take a chill pill for once." Ivy giggled as the vines twirled around the staircase, "Everyone else should be here by tonight, I don't wanna let them down with grey and oldness."

"Grey and oldness beats bugs." Ronnie pointed out from where she sat at the bar stool, sipping at a cherry coke her and Ivy where sharing.

"Bugs will never beat grey and oldness." Ivy laughed as she sighed in relief when she saw the room that was once ugly and boring filled with plants and flowers and vines. Ivy smiled as she stumbled a bit.

"Woah, hey." Ronnie said in a panic as she stood up quickly to grab Ivys arm, "What was that?"

"Power draining, completely worth it." the blonde spoke with a smile as Ronnie lead her to the couch with the shared coke in hand.

"Things feel like they're slowly falling into place." Ronnie spoke with a smile as she leaned her head back on the couch, "Don't you think?"

"Almost." Ivy nodded while looking over at her with a small smile.

"Almost is better then not at all." Ronnie spoke as Ivy grinned softly and nodded.

"Always is better then not at all." she repeated while staring over at the pink haired girl, "I'd say i'm happier now then I ever was before."

"Well from what I've heard, life before wasn't all sunshine and rainbows." Ronnie joked as Ivy shook her head with a sigh.

"Far from it... I think it's why i'm so close with my siblings, for so long they were my only happiness in life. Though Diego and I use to argue constantly, we were close as far as sibling go, all of us really." Ivy spoke as she looked at the ceiling for a moment, "I just sometimes wish we could have all been family in another way... in a way where we weren't treated like numbers and subject."

"I can understand... in a small way, I mean. My siblings and I were close... until things changed." Ronnie spoke as she trailed off, looking away as Ivy reached over and grabbed her hand.

"You never talk about what things were before." she said with wondering eyes, "You can always tell me, you know."

"I try not to remember it, it's better to pretend it didn't happen." Ronnie said softly as she squeezed Ivys hand back while looking over at her, "You can understand that, can't you?"

"More then you know." Ivy smiled as she looked at the clock.

"But you gonna go." Ronnie said as Ivy looked her way with a sad smile.

"And i'll be back as soon as I can." she spoke while raising to her feet, leaning over to press a small peak to Ronnies lips before leaving the building.

Ronnie looked in shock at the quick kiss, a hand to her lips were she felt Ivys for just a half a second. Ivy didn't even realize what she did until she was half way down the street, pausing in her steps as her eyes got wider then a deers in headlights, "Oh god."

"Hold that door, you whore." Ivy cleared her throat as Diego caught the elevator door, seeing the bleached blonde walk in with a small wave, "Hello, all is well."

"Good, we're all here." Five said with a amusing smile as all the Hargreeves siblings piled into the elevator.

The horrible stench filled the horribly silent elevator, each siblings sniffing the air as they gagged and hid their nose.

"Luther!"

"Oof."

"Gag me."

"Sorry, i'm nervous."

"All right, when dad gets here, i'll do all the talking, okay?" Five asked as they each got out of the elevator once they reached the top floor.

"Well, i've got two words for him." Ivy spoke as she held her left and right fist in the air, "Stupid and Whore."

"I've got a few questions for him myself." Diego spoke while as he stood by Ivy, the two resembling each other in a way as they held determined faces and nodded.

"Hey, we don't wanna scare him off, okay? He might be able to help stop doomsday, get us home." Five went on with a crazy looked toward the two who rolled their eyes on que.

"No, Five. We need to figure out why he's planning to kill the president." Diego spoke as Ivy hummed and stole one of the drink umbrellas from the table to stick in the small braid she had.

"And why he didn't wanna kill the one back in our first time, before we were in this one." Ivy said with a point to her fingers and a nod of her head.

"This is a matter of life and death, you two imbecile." Five glared at the two as they neared the table.

"Oh, don't be such a wet sock, old man." Ivy said as she took a seat and propped her feet on the table.

"Okay, maybe we should take turns talking, yeah?" Vanya asked, trying to stop a trio argument from going on, "Here, whoever had got this conch shell get to talk."

"Vanya, we don't have time for debate, okay?" Five asked with a huff.

"Ugh, you don't have the conch shell." Ivy said to her twin with a point of her finger.

"Maybe I should lead. We all know i'm a much better public speaker then the rest." Allison said as she took the shell from Vanya.

"Points were proven, a little offender." Ivy said with a shrug as she leaned back in her chair on its back legs.

"Okay, Daddy's girl." Diego mocked Allison with a raise of his eyebrows.

"Oh, jealous, Number Two?" Allison mocked Diego.

"Hey, no more numbers. No more bullshit. We're team Zero." Diego spoke as he walked forward.

"Zero?" Ivy mouthed to Five, confused, as he shrugged his shoulders back at her.

"Uh, Diego. You don't have the conch." Luther spoke as he nodded at the shell in Allison's hands. Diego nodded with a smile as he took it from Allison hands and chunked it across the room.

"How lovely." Ivy said as she began to cheer for him, "Yes! Give us all the anger you got, big bro! Whoop whoop! Breakin shells and breakin hearts."

"Ivy, the sarcasm is so beautiful." Klaus said as he touched his hand to his heart.

"Glad someone's enjoying it." Five said with a fake smile which Ivy returned just as fake as his.

The door suddenly swung opening, hitting the wall behind it with a loud booming noise, bouncing off the walls. Reginald walked in without meeting their eye, his usual attire along with the monical and books in hand. Ivy put her feet off the table and straightening up, a habit she got when he'd walk in.

"Not only have you burglarized my lab, set my chimp loose, conned your way into the Mexican consulate, repeatedly stalked and attacked me, but you have on numerous occasions called me-" Reggie began before Klaus came over with a drink and pulled the only chair left out.

"Hey, Pop. Hows it hanging?" Klaus asked with a sigh of relief.

"Dad." Reginald finished his sentence from before, "My reconnaissance tells me you're not CIA, not KGB, certainly not MI5, so... who are you?"

"Ugh, the daughter you constantly told how she felt was wrong and made her keep a child she didn't want, made her feel guilt for abortion, though it was her own choice and always will be, froze her insides, keeping her young looking at the age of sixteen for an experiment, then failed to tell me the frozen insides was no place to carry a child but made me carry it anyways which lead to a horribly and dreadful miscarriage you had no remorse for, then left me with years and year and years of your voice in my head making me feel as though I was wrong for the things I wanted in life." Ivy spoke as she looked at the man with a sigh of relief before faking a smile, "Nice to meet you though."

"We're your children. From the future." Five bounced off Ivys words with a nod as he leaned forward, "In 1989 you adopted all of us and trained us to fight against the end of the world. Called us the Umbrella Academy."

"Why on earth would I adopt seven-"Reginald began again with a odd look before he was cut off.

"Eight." Allison corrected him quickly, not being able to see the faint smile on Bens face from the corner, "One of us isn't here."

"Dead." Diego informed him as Ivy scoffed.

"Lucky bastard." she spoke while making sure to look at Ben who gave her a look of disbelief.

"Dead but here! Klaus! Tell them i'm-" Ben began as Klaus turned and waved him off.

"Ba-ba-ba, enough of that now." he said as Reginald watched him with a odd look.

"Ivy, hello?" Ben asked as Ivy gave a sympathetic look.

"Sorry, Klaus made me promise." she said in a whisper, thankful everyone still had their attention on Klaus to realize she was talking.

"Regardless, what would possess me to adopt eight ill-mannored malcontents?" Reginald asked with a look of disbelief at Five.

"Dude, I wish I knew." Ivy said his way as he gave her the oddest of looks back.

"We all have special abilities." Five said with a knowing look as he laced his hands together.

"Special? In what sense?" Reginald asked as he payed close attention now.

"In the superpower sense." Luther said with a eyebrow raise and a clear of his throat.

"Call me old fashion but i'm a stickler for a pesky little thing called evidence." Reginald said as Ivy swung her hand, the plants coming from across the room to yank Klaus's drink from his hand and shatter in the table before she used her other hand to call upon the wind to sweep it onto the floor.

"You're old fashion." Ivy spoke, simply doing what he'd told her to do a moment ago.

"Ivy! Lord. We're not circus animals, okay? We're not gonna bounce balls on our noses and clap our hands like seals for your amusement." Luther spoke to Reginald as Ivy smirked at his words.

"Daddy's little boy all grown up." she mumbled under her breath with a small giggle. Diego suddenly threw a knife infront of him, controlling it so he zoomed right next to Reginalds head and into the wall to his left.

"What are you writing?" Diego asked as he leaned forward much like the rest when he saw Reginald start to right.

"You are zero for two, young man. And you-" Reginald began as he looked to Diego then to Ivy, "A odd little creature."

"Well, better then anything else i've heard." Ivy said with a eyebrows raise as she leaned back on her chair, "I'll take it."

Diego didn't like what Reginald said about him, standing from his chair in anger as Five space jumped across the table to hold him back, "Stop!"

"Now that is interesting." Reginald said as he watched Five.

"All right, quick rundown. Luther: Super Strength. Klaus can commune with the dead. Ivy can control the plants and some of the elements but if she gets pissed off, she can mimic anyone else's power. Allison can rumor anyone to do anything-" Five began to list off before Diego cut him off.

"Accept she never uses it." Diego point out as him and Five sat back down.

"I heard a rumor you punch yourself in the face." Allison said with a smirk as Diego suddenly hit himself with his knuckled making Ivy suck in a breath but give Allison a wink when he wasn't looking.

"And you?" Reginald asked as he looked to Vanya next to him.

"Uh, maybe we don't take Vanya for a test run." Luther said with a forced smile with a clear of his throat.

"Unless you enjoy being thrown through walls, then all the power to you." Ivy pointed out with a hum.

"Oh, yeah, that's probably not a good idea." Klaus said while scratching the side of his head.

"It's fine, I can handle it." Vanya said as she reached before her.

"Handle it, last time you blew up the-"

"Uh, Vanya-"

"Take cover, one might say."

"Vanya dont!"

But it was to late, the fork had already hit the side of the cup and Vanya powers blowing up the fruit all over her siblings and father within one second.

"Mangos? Lovely." Ivy said while whipping her face with a lick to her finger.

"Look, we know you're involved in a plot to assassinate the president." Diego said as he rose to his teeth again as Five huffed.

"You were recently hospitalized, isn't that correct?" Reginald asked Diego with a knowing look, ignoring his before statement, "You still appear to be suffering from delusions and acute paranoia."

"Am I?" Diego asked with a look of disbelief as he stood up straight, "Explain this."

Diego laid the sketchy photos of Reginald in front of his face, making his point in a dramatic way, like he always did.

"That's you. That's two days from now on the grassy knoll at the exact spot the president's gonna get shot." Diego explained the photo as he stared down at their father who seemed the smallest bit in shock at the photo and the man before hims words.

"Well... I suppose you've solved it." Reginald said as he passed the photo back to Diego, "You've single-handedly unearthed my nefarious plot. Is that what you want to hear? You fancy yourself a do-gooder? The last good man who will save us from our descent into corruption and conspiracy? This is a fantastic delusion. The sad reality is that you're a desperate man, tragically unaware of his own insignificance, desperately clinging to his own ineffectual reasoning. More importantly, a man over his head."

Diego's face fell at his words, sinking farther and farther into his chair as memories of his childhood flashing in his dark eyes. Ivy saw it happen, the light in his eye leave as she opened her mouth to say something horrible to Reginald before Diego spoke up once again.

"You're w-wr-wro-" Diego stutter broke her heart, striking enough sadness to trigger her anger as her hair slowly began to turn a bright shade of red at the ends.

"You son of a bitch!" the girl yelled as she threw herself over the table, attacking Reginald and pulling him on to the floor with her. She heard Five and Allison yell out for her as Five stood, Luther not to far after him.

"You piece of shit father! You horrible man! You deserve nothing in this world! We hate you! I hate you for what you did to us! I hate you for still hurting us!" Ivy yelled over and over as she threw her fist down into Reginald, she was weak and sobbing at this point. Reginald had blocked his face from Ivys hits.

She was crying for Diego, she was crying for Klaus, she was crying for Ben, she was crying for Vanya, she was crying for Five, she was crying for Allison, she was even crying for Luther. And Ivy even cried for herself, cried for the horrible childhood they had because of the man that wasn't even phased by it. The words about how much she hated the man flew from her mouth over and over as she felt Luther pull her off of Reginald, she didn't try and fight back, simply saying the words over and over.

"Get her out of here." Five demanded as he watched his sisters hair glow a bright red, being pulled from the family meeting... but he should have known all along this would have been all to much for her.
