" HOW MANY people are we?"

the group had decided to go to universal for the day. Spending Eli's birthday in universal was the best thing for her since she really enjoyed amusement parks a lot, well mostly rollercoasters.

they had all woken up pretty early so they could spend as much time as possible here. They arrived at 10AM, which is exactly when the amusement park opens, "I'm so tired" Chris groaned as a yawn escaped his lips after the sentence.

"I told you to sleep early. but you decided to sleep at 3AM bro!" matt complained as the group walked in the beginning of universal, looking left and right to decide which ride to go to first.

eli decided most of their decisions since she was the birthday girl after all, "we could try this ride!" She pointed to a red rollercoaster ride that had a really high fall down point. Just as she pointed to it, the roller coaster fell down the high point and all the people on it were screaming for their lives.

Everyone agreed as because the ride looked scary but that was the fun of it. But despite Matt's fear of heights, he hesitantly decided to join the group. He couldn't just be left alone with people.

Eastyn had always known about Matt's fear of heights. The fear had always been there anyways, just because since they were little he confessed his fear to her, and Eastyn was not one to forget.

She looked at Matt as the group made their way to the line, and realized his eyes had been blinking constantly. he'd been fidgeting with the string of his hoodie, as he bit the inside of his cheeks. All the sorts of anxiety had been showing on him right now. And maybe no one noticed it, but tee definitely did. She gripped onto his wrist part of the hoodie, tugging it to slightly to grab his attention. He turned around to look at her as she mouthed, 'are you sure you want to do this?'

he only shrugged, but the girl never took off her grip on the wrist part of the hoodie. So Matt just slightly shook it off and made her hand fall into his. He interlocked their fingers together before placing their hands in his pocket, to give them warmth due to the coldness in the air.

despite the weather, tee was sweating due to the boys actions. Okay, the two hated each other. But these small actions have a huge impact on her, well on the both of them.

they sat on the last seat in the ride, so Matt couldn't look infront of him when they were very high up. Tee sat next to him as she was maybe a bit scared too? She never admits it though.

she held onto the metal stick that was used a seatbelt in the roller coaster. The coldness tickled her palm as she placed it ontop of the metal thing, matt doing the same.

The ride started slow but gradually began to go faster, and every now and then the crowd would release a scream from the top of their lungs. This was scarier than it looks.

now was the moment of truth. The roller coaster was slowly making its way high up, matt gulping as he squinted his eyes. He didn't realize as his arm gripped onto tees, making her quickly turn around to look at him as she was startled, but realized he was now scared more than ever.

the roller coaster stopped, now Matt's heart was pounding as he was always sweating from the anxiety, "just don't look down" tee whispered to not startle the boy.

he took a deep breath, and not even one second later the coaster went straight down, making tee let out a scream as Matt shut his eyes and gripped onto tees arm tighter.

"are you crying?" she asked matt as the group all hopped off the ride.

Matt quickly rubbed his eyes, "no? Just dust in my eyes?"

The girl only chuckled, definitely not believing him.

"See! You guys have a Boston accent!"

the group had decided to get themselves some snacks since they were all pretty hungry. They decided to get churros since it would give them energy from the Nutella chocolate that you dip in and the added sugar.

"we? As in me, matt and Chris?"

"no, fucking— yes you idiot!" Eli mumbled as she took another bite of her churro, "say churro"

"churro?" nic says it, the Boston accent now showing even more.

"Boston accent."

"enough about the Boston accent, what are we doing next?" Eastyn mumbles as she dips her churros into the Nutella.

"there's this scary room we could do?" Chris suggests as she receive nods from everyone.

the scary room was dark, the only light you could see were the neon green ones, making the environment look even scarier.

They all decided to stick together, but then lost each other two seconds in.

   matt was now slowly making his way across the escape room. He bent his knees slightly and kept his head down, making sure no one could see him. A few seconds ago, this very scary clown had chased him with a bat that was covered with fake blood.

   He was now getting very cautious with his surroundings as he looked left and right, but spotted a figure a few feet away from him. He gulped before making his way to the figure, seeing it didn't quite look like any scary clown.

   he placed his hand on the girls shoulder, but she was startled as she punched him right in the arm, "ow!" he exclaimed, but quickly shut his mouth since he was a bit too loud.

   "don't fucking startle me like that!" The familiar voice exclaimed, she opened her flashlight to be met with Matt's blue eyes. He covered it with his hand as he knew it was the one and only Eastyn Winslow.

   " what the fuck?" he mumbled, now hearing footsteps from a distance. He grabbed onto tees wrist and took them to a dark corner where they wouldn't be able to be seen.

   "what the-" his palm covered her mouth, as he put up his other hand to shush her. Matt slowly leaned to the side and stuck his head out, checking if the scary character had left.

   tee had been glancing at Matt. Seeing how he was very serious about the game, it wasn't even real but he took it seriously. She found it funny the way he kept checking if the coast is clear as if they were in a survival movie. With that, she let out a small giggle once he took his palm out of the top of her mouth.

   he raised one eyebrow, now looking down at her with a quizzical expression, "what?"

   she only shook her head, the small grin still plastered on her face, "nothing" she mumbled.

   he only shrugged, looking into the halllway one last time before taking tees hand and pulling her with him. she covered her mouth to not let another giggle because seeing Matt like this was actually funny.

   " bro, where the fuck have you guys been?"

   matt let out a deep breath as he left the building, turning around to close the door, "I was being chased by this clown, and tee came out of nowhere"

   she rolled her eyes, " your the one who came to me you dumb fuck?"

   "whatever"

     It had started to rain, meaning most outdoor rides had been closed due to the weather. So the group decided it was best to leave since the indoor activities were not as fun and intimidating.

   They now sat under a shade, squinting their eyes as they looked for the minivan, "why did you have to park so far?" nic complained as he cuddled himself for warmth.

   matt only rolled his eyes, "bro go get the car" Chris gestured to the minivan in the distance.

   "yeah take one for the team bro" eli added as she put on her hood.

   "someone has to come with me"  he received glances from everyone, "I have social anxiety dipshits!"

   "I will"

   matt turned around as he gave tee a disapproving look, "um no your not?"

   "why not?"

   he glanced at her white cropped tank top and  black shorts. Now silence as the two only stared at eachother.

   "are you guys gonna kiss before or after we freeze to death?" nic complained as he received a death glare from Matt.

   but the middle triplet now groaned as he took off his black hoodie, shoving it to Eastyns chest, "put it on"

   She only looked at the piece of clothing in her arms, glancing up at Matt but then at her friends. She rolled her eyes as she put on the hoodie, crossing her arms over her chest as Matt put on her hood for her, "fucking move it" he mumbled.

   "how long is it gonna take for you to turn on the car?" tee complained as she sat in the passenger seat. Matt had been slowly turning on the engine, on purpose.

   "they deserve it" he mumbled, but then turned on the engine and started the car. He gripped onto the steering wheel as he got out of the parking spot.

   Tee opened her mouth to say something, quickly shutting it but then letting out a "thanks"

   the boy slowed the car down as he took a left, the grip on the steering wheel growing tighter, "for what?"

  "the hoodie" she gave him a soft grin.

   he turned around to look at the brunette, his cheeks growing a little red from her smile, "don't sweat it" he shrugged.

now our Eastyn has two of Matt's hoodies!!

I'm so excited for the upcoming plans(even tho this book was not very planned) but yk we just have to get through it.
