SHINOBU KOCHO:

The two met when Hayami became a Demon Slayer, so roughly putting Shinobu about 12 and Hayami 13 (Turning 14). Though at the beginning Shinobu was harsh and rude towards Hayami, she slowly mellowed out when Kanae passed. Despite her harsh words, Hayami still accepted Shinobu the way she was no matter what. 

Shinobu holds high regards and respect towards her, as Hayami would visit her regularly to check in her despite her own personal issue with her big brother.

GIYUU TOMIOKA:

A former friend of Ryuji's when the two were only in their early teens, but slowly drifted apart because of Ryuji's harsh treatment towards his younger sister. Giyuu didn't talk much with Hayami, but she did visit him from time to time to check in. She tends to bring his favourite sweets, or food whenever she goes over to see him. 

The two get along, but not as close friends due to him finding it difficult to look into her eyes because of her big brother. He felt like a failure, not stepping up for her..

TENGEN UZUI:

Hayami met Tengen through Ryuji when he once was training her when she was around (13 years), but stopped after. Tengen always found Hayami's beauty more appealing than Ryuji, as he disliked her big brother for more reasons than one. Even to the point that Tengen had to step up for her, getting sick of Ryuji treating Hayami harshly and for controlling her. 

Hayami later respects him for stepping up for her, that she gradually began to become close friends to him and soon became like a younger sister to him. Though Tengen can be very perverse and rather inappropriate at times, he truly does care about her wellbeing.

KYOJURO RENGOKU

Kyojuro met Hayami around chapters (29-30), through Mitsuri. Kyojuro as heard of the Dragon Pillar but was expecting a male at first, only because he only heard about Ryuji through his father who would grumble and talk crap about. Kyojuro's father was caught drinking on the job by Ryuji, and ever since they both disliked each other. 

Kyojuro respects Hayami deeply that their friendship was mutual, and he would praise her and always love to chat with her. He definitely loves being honest, but sometimes Hayami would find his honesty too much all at once.

GYOMEI HIMEJIMA

Gyomei first met Hayami also through Ryuji, by when Hayami started the conversation first when she was curious about his eyesight. She tried to not sound rude, but he assured her that it was fine seen he hadn't recognised her voice or aura before. He took it upon himself to remember her scent, her voice that he describes like firm, but mellow like honey. Over time he recognised her, and had even sensed her training from a distance when she was younger.

His respect had grown over the years of her training, that he accepted her as a hashira and a dear friend of hers. Though he is a very quiet and sensitive, he is like the leader of the Demon Slayer corps. Hayami immediately respected him years before becoming a hashira herself.

OBANAI IGURO

With his background being darker and more harsh, his hate for Hayami was completely different when they first met at a small meeting with Master Ubuyashiki.  He even called her a pig (Referring to her being chubby) as his first introduction, not in front of the master.

Obanai has always resented her, and spoke harshly about her background expecting she came from a most perfect family. However when he heard about her background, he seemed to refuse to apologise. Yet, Sanemi discovered this and told him that Hayami puts many others first, and even helped Mitsuri in accepting herself and body.

Obanai slowly warms up to the fact that Hayami is self-sacrificing, and is trying to work on his attitude towards Hayami for Mitsuri. 

Kaburamaru his white serpent pet loves to try and charm Hayami, and finds her presence calming.

MITSURI KANROJI

How they met was during (Chapter 29) as Mitsuri ran into Hayami, and apologised and offered to pay for lunch. The two managed to get along, and because Mitsuri hasn't had a girl as a friend for so long. Mitsuri couldn't stop gushing about her new friend to her mother and father in a letter, and would even write a small diary about everyday. 

Mitsuri thinks of Hayami like a big sister, despite their one year difference in ages. Mitsuri admires hayami and looks for advice in anything, as would Hayami would ask her. Even though Mitsuri can be a bit too much with her bubbly personality, Hayami is patient enough to match her vibes whenever she was around.

MUICHIRO TOKITO

Hayami met Muichiro in (chapter 28), but really during that chapter it mentioned she knew him for a few months. He was injured from a demon attack roughly around (11 1/2 years old and currently 12) and lady Amane wished for Hayami to  help him train and recover. With Lady Amane busy with the Master, Hayami was happy to do that. Just when she was a fresh out of becoming a Dragon Pillar, she treated Muichiro like her own.

She was like a mother and helped in different ways, and respect boundaries. Muichiro slowly acknowledges this later on, but at first he was rather aloof and spaced out due to memory from his past trauma after losing his twin and parents.

SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA

These two both met in (chapter 8) when he saved her from a demon attack, when she collapsed from fatigue and exhaustion during winter. Ever since they both have been stuck at the hip alongside Masachika, and slowly Sanemi grew fond of her. He even fulfilled a promise that he was gonna do, even when not asked by Masachika to take care of Hayami. Though he was rude to begin with towards her, she was patient enough to take all his insults or his words.

Sanemi and Hayami are now finally together after many chapters, finally acknowledging the respect and hard work in how far they've come. They both have a stronger bond than the rest of the Hashira, and Sanemi holds high regard of her as a lover and comrade.
