The first rays of sunlight stream through the crack in the curtains, slowly brightening the room and casting a gentle glow on your face.

Your eyes flutter open, adjusting to the light, and you find yourself still in the same position, with Bada sleeping peacefully next to you

You take a moment to observe Bada's features, her face relaxed in sleep. Her breathing is slow and steady, a peaceful expression etched on her face.

Seeing her like this, free from the worries and stress of the competition, feels incredibly intimate.

Y/N: cutie

Bada stirred slightly at the sound of your voice, her eyes slowly opening, a sleepy daze lingering in her gaze.

She blinks a few times, registering your presence, and a small smile tugs at the corners of her mouth.

Bada: Good morning

she mutters, her voice still tinged with sleep. She stretches her arms lazily and sits up, rubbing her eyes.

You can't help but smile at her adorable morning demeanor, the contrast from her usual confident and poised self making your heart warm.

You sit up as well, your hair probably messy and disheveled from the night's sleep.

Y/N: Morning.

you reply, your voice still groggy from sleep.

Bada: we need to hit up the dance practice room... The others are probably waiting for us already

You nod with a slight yawn.

Y/N: Yeah, you're right. We should head over soon.

You both sit up, stretching and shaking off the remnants of sleep from your bodies.

The day ahead is packed with practice, learning Tsubakill's choreography, and preparing for the upcoming battle.

Y/N: I think you should do Momo's parts. You have very similar dancing

Bada tilts her head, her expression thoughtful.

Bada: Hmm, you think so? Maybe you're right. I can work on those parts, see if I can pull them off.

Y/N: Yeah you're a hiphoper and so is she

Bada nods, a slight grin appearing on her face.

Bada: You've got a point. I'm more comfortable with hip-hop anyway. I think I can handle Momo's parts well.

Y/N: Let's go to the practice room now? The others are probably waiting for us

Bada nods in agreement, her eyes lighting up with determination.

Bada: Yeah, let's go. We can't afford to lag behind, not with the battle coming up.

With that, you both get up and freshen up quickly, getting dressed and preparing for the intense practice session ahead.

You and Bada make your way to the practice room, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness. As you approach the studio, you can hear the muffled sounds of music coming from within. It seems that the rest of your team is already there, their voices blending with the beats.

You push open the door and step inside, greeted by the sight of your team members engaged in their individual practice routines. They look up momentarily at your arrival, and Chaechae breaks into a smile.

Chaechae: good morning! we've already started learning the choreography. Y/N would it be okay if you'd covered Akanen? We gave Bada Momo as it really suited her style.

Y/N: isn't she a braker?

Kyma and Tatter nod, acknowledging your question.

Kyma: Yeah, Akanen predominantly performs breaking, which focuses on power moves and acrobatics. It's quite different from hip-hop.

Y/N: so I will have to do brake dancing?

The team nods, understanding the importance of getting the choreography right.

Kyma: Yes, we think it's best if you cover Akanen's parts since she's a breaker. We'll help you with the braking moves, don't worry.

Bada looked at you worried how will you do the braking part. She knew you weren't exactly flexible and she was worried.

Y/N: okay I'll try my best!

The team is supportive, their expressions encouraging.

Tatter: Don't worry, we'll help you with the braking moves. It might take some practice, but I'm sure you'll pick it up.

Chaechae grins, a determined glint in her eyes.

Chaechae: We've got this, Y/N. We'll figure it out together.

Minah: we believe in you!

Bada: yeah we all do. Now lets get to practice

The team's optimism lifts your spirits, and you feel a renewed sense of determination.

Y/N: Alright, let's do this.

With that, the team resumes their practice, each member focusing on mastering the choreography. You take a deep breath, preparing yourself to tackle Akanen's breaking parts.

Time passes as the team diligently practices every step of Tsubakill's choreography.

Bada effortlessly executes Momo's parts, her movements fluid and precise.

Meanwhile, you focus on replicating Akanen's braking moves, albeit with a bit more difficulty due to your less flexible nature.

Bada observes you closely, her expression filled with both concern and admiration.

She notices the way you struggle with the braking moves, your body not as flexible as Akanen's.

Yet, beneath the initial struggles, she can sense your determination and effort to not disappoint the team.

As you take a break, the exhaustion beginning to show on your face, Bada approaches you cautiously. She squats down next to you, her gaze filled with concern.

Bada: You okay? You look pretty tired.

Y/N: I'm mentally exhausted. I can't anymore

Bada: It is tough, I know. But we're all in this together. We'll get through it. You just need to take a moment to rest and recharge. As you helped me when I had hard time I'll help you

Bada looks around, noticing the rest of the team still diligently practicing. She turns back to you, her expression serious yet gentle.

Bada: Hey, why don't we take a short break? Just for a few minutes. We can talk or just sit in silence if you want.

The team takes a much-needed break, settling on the floor of the studio and relaxing their tired muscles. You find yourself sitting next to Lusher, the two of you in a quiet corner.

The room is filled with the sound of soft breathing and the occasional sigh from the team as they unwind from the intense practice session.

Lusher: Have you told her?

Y/N: who did I told what?

Lusher: did you tell Bada about your feelings? That she's more than a friend to you?

Y/N: how do you know?

Lusher giggles and hugs you by your side

Lusher: it's too obvious.

Y/N: yes. Yes I did.. Well she was the first to talk about it.

Lusher was surprised. She never taught Bada would start openly talking about the her feelings.

Lusher: tell me everything!

Y/N: well... We came home from tsubakills choreography show off and and she said she wanted to talk. I sat on the bed next to her and... Well she told me she feels feelings more than just teammates.

Lusher: And? Are you two like... Official now???

Y/N: Nope.. We decided to stay as teammates at least until street women fighter ends.

Lusher's eyes widened with excitement as she leaned in closer, eager to hear more.

Lusher: "Wow, so you two are still keeping it casual? That sounds like a tough call, but also kind of sweet. You both have so much going on right now... How do you even manage to focus on dancing with all these feelings?"

Y/N chuckled nervously, looking down at her hands for a moment before meeting Lusher's gaze again.

Y/N: "Honestly, it's been a little complicated. When we're in the studio, it's easy to focus on the choreography. But sometimes, when I catch her smile or when she looks at me a certain way... it throws me off track."

Lusher nodded knowingly, her grin widening.

Lusher: "I can only imagine! So... what happens if the show ends and you two are still in this space? What then?"

Y/N paused, biting her lip thoughtfully. The thought of what might come next made her heart race, but she knew she had to be careful, not just with her own feelings, but with the dynamics between them.

Y/N: "I guess we'll just have to figure it out then. Right now, we're taking it one step at a time. I think we both agree that the team comes first, but who knows what happens after the competition."

Lusher's eyes sparkled, clearly enjoying the drama unfolding between her best friend and Bada.

Lusher: You know, I think you two would make an incredible pair. But whatever happens, just remember to follow your heart... and don't let the show mess with what you've got. You've worked hard for this, both as a dancer and as friends.

You smiled softly, grateful for Lusher's understanding. Following your heart was not as easy as it sounded. Your heart was not really a deciseble person. It's after of hurting or being hurt.

Y/N: Thanks, Lush. You're always there when I need someone to talk to."

Lusher squeezed her shoulder affectionately before pulling away with a mischievous grin.

Lusher: "Now, enough about that-let's go over those new moves you've been practicing! We can't let Bada steal all your attention, can we?"

You laughed, feeling the tension from earlier ease, and the two of them dove into the next routine, their friendship as strong as ever.

After a long day of intense choreography practice, the tension in the studio is finally starting to ease. You, Bada, and the rest of the team are all exhausted, but there is a sense of satisfaction in the air.

This time spent learning the choreography has not only strengthened the bonds between teammates but also the relationship between you and Bada.

As the practice wraps up, the girls start to pack up their bags, preparing to go home. You, however, find yourself lingering in the studio, not quite ready to leave yet. Bada notices you and walks over.

Bada: Hey what's wrong?

Y/N: I'm afraid I'll fuck up the break dance parts

Bada grins and bumps into your shoulder playfully.

Bada: Aw, come on Y/N. Have a little faith in yourself.

Y/N: But I'm not as flexible as Akanen. I'm worried I might mess up the choreography

Bada studies you for a moment, her expression softening.

Bada: You know, flexibility isn't everything. It's about technique and style. Akanen's style won't suit you. You have your own style and you have the ability to express it and--

You stopped her before she could finish her sentence.

Y/N: I'm scared okay Bada?! I am so fucking scared

Bada's eyes widen at your sudden outburst. She looks at you, taken aback by your intensity. There's a moment of silence as she searches your face, sensing the fear and vulnerability beneath the surface. Without a word, Bada moves closer to you.

Bada: What are you really afraid of?

Her voice is gentle, her gaze fixed on you. You can see a mix of understanding and concern in her eyes.

You hesitated for a moment, gathering your thoughts. There are a million fears running through your mind, and you struggle to vocalize them. Finally, you manage to utter a word.

Y/N: Failure.

Bada raises an eyebrow. She doesn't say anything though, waiting for you to continue. She knows there is more.

Y/N: I will tell you something that you need to promise not to tell anyone even if we will start hating each other for any reason

Bada: I promise anything you say stays between us

You take a deep breath, mustering the courage to reveal a part of yourself that you usually keep hidden.

Y/N: I've always been afraid of failing. Not just in dancing, but in everything. I've been hiding behind a facade of confidence and cheerfulness, but deep down, I'm constantly afraid of letting people down. and the only reason is my Father, who always told me I'm the biggest idiot or that I should do everything better

Bada: What happened between you and your father?

You take another deep breath, trying to push aside the flood of memories that surface.

Y/N: My father has always been highly critical, almost obsessively. Nothing I did was ever good enough. If I failed an exam, if I made a mistake in dancing, if I let a friend down, it was the end of the world. He would scream at me, telling me I'm never going to be anything with my attitude. And I believed him, still do some times. I'm so scared Bada.

Bada absorbs your words, her heart wrenching with empathy. She realizes now why you've been so hard on yourself during practice, why the fear of failure is like a shadow over your every move.

She pulls you closer and wraps her arms around you in a tight embrace. Bada rubs your back in a soothing manner.

Bada: I'm sorry, Y/N. You don't deserve to carry that burden. Your father was wrong. You are more than what he said, more than your fears.

Y/N: can we please go back to the dorms?

Bada nodded, understanding the exhaustion that comes with baring your soul. She squeezes your shoulder softly as she looks into your eyes.

Bada: Yeah, let's head back to the dorms. We've had a long day.

Y/N: okay I will pack up

While you gather your belongings, Bada watches you with a mixture of concern and affection. She can tell that your confession has taken a toll on you, but she's also relieved that you've opened up to her.

Soon, you finish packing, and Bada turns to you with a half-smile.

Bada: Ready to go?

Y/N: Mhm

Bada leads the way out of the studio, the two of you stepping into the cool night air. The walk back to the dorms is mostly silent, both of you lost in thought after your heavy conversation.

Eventually, you reach the dorms, and Bada walks you to your door. She looks at you intently, a question lingering in her gaze.

Bada: Y/N, if you need to talk more or if you need anything, don't hesitate to wake me up, okay?

She reaches out to squeeze your hand briefly, her touch gentle yet firm.

Y/N: mmhm.. Thanks Bada.. It means a lot to me.

Bada entered your shared dorm and put the things down and changed to her pajamas.

You did the same and went to bed tucking into the blanket, and not long after that Bada joined you.

Bada: Hey don't worry so m much about your dad. It's going to be okay.

Y/N: yeah I hope so

Bada: Good night Y/N

Y/N: good night.

The room falls into a comfortable silence as both you and Bada prepare for sleep. The day's events have taken a toll on both of you, and the exhaustion starts to take over.

Bada settles into the bed next to you, her eyes closing slowly. She looks peaceful, her breathing steady in the quiet darkness.

You lay in bed, Bada's words echoing in your mind. "Don't worry so much about your dad" Easier said than done.

Bada already fell asleep and you looked at her for quite a lot of time, as your mind were still flooded with your dad and everything.

But eventually you feel asleep looking at Bada
