Juliette sat in science waiting for her teacher to announce their lab partners, bouncing her knee she waited impatiently to hear who she would work with.

"Carly and mike" Mr. Smith read of the list

"Rebecca and Dave"

"Juliette and Ponyboy" her eyes shot to Ponyboy who smiled sheepishly as her cheeks blushed.

Mr. Simon had finally reached the end of partners and told the class to go sit by eachother. She walked over to Ponyboy and sat down next to him as he smiled at her.

"Hey julie" he greeted her. "Hey pony" she greeted back as his eyes glanced down the paper of the lab. "So what do we have to do?" She asked as he shrugged. "I think we have to dissect a frog?" He answered uncertain as she looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Ew" she let a small laugh out as the teacher walked around setting down the tray with the frogs, juliette gagged as Ponyboy sliced the stomach open with a knife.

"Gross" she replied disgusted as Ponyboy nodded his head agreeing with the girl. The two had to determine the sex of the frog and look at the organs.

"I think its a female?" Juliette guessed while inspecting the frog, "yeah me too" Ponyboy agreed as she nodded her head. "Good at least im not alone on it" she laughed as he rolled his eyes.

"Hey i was thinking. Do you wanna go to the movie house tonight?" Ponyboy asked Juliette as she turned her head to look at him, "yeah!" She accepted the invitation as he smiled at her.

"This is disgusting" Ponyboy gagged dramaticlly as he poked the guts of the frog, "agreed" Juliette nodded her head and looked back down to her paper. "I think we did everything though" she told him relieved, "oh thank god" he huffed and took his rubber gloves off.

"I dont ever want to do this again" she looked down the sliced frogs body, and looked into the boys green eyes. "Yeah tell me about it" she retorted as she let a small laughed.

The two raised their hands motioning to Mr. Smith that they were finally done with the lab, "you kids done?" He asked as they nodded their head.

"Yeah we are" she answered as he nodded his head and grabbed the tray along with the two papers. Juliette let a sigh of relief out as Ponyboy leaned back into his chair.

"Are we going right after school?" She asked the boy, his eyes glanced up to her and nodded his head. "Yeah, i just needa get away from the boys" he explained to her as she nodded her head.

"Whys that?" She asked and propped her head up with her hand, "i dunno, soda keeps teasing me. And two-bit keeps mocking us." Ponyboy explained as he leaned his head back.

Juliette looked to him with a concerned face, "just dont let it get to you, their just immature." She told him as he looked to her and smiled a bit.

The question still was stuck in her mind, are her and Ponyboy dating?

She so badly wanted to ask him and it nagged at her the past few days but there wasn't a right time to even ask him, let alone what if he said no?

She let out a low sigh and used her arms as a pillow and waited for the period to be over.

The end of school rounded to the corner which made her relieved along with Ponyboy, "so whats playing?" She asked him while walking out of the school. "The sound of music, or the collector" he answered as she considered her choices.

"Hm" she thought as he laughed at her a little, "i have already watched the sound of music, so we can watch the collecter." She answered as he nodded his head, "plus that one sounds interesting" she laughed as he nodded his agreeing.

The two finally arrived and payed for tickets along with two cokes and some popcorn. Juliette and Ponyboy sat towards the back where there wasn't that many people.

Julie wrinkled her nose as she watched the movie, "this movie is kinda weird" she whispered to him as he looked up to her. "Yeah" he laughed a little and turned his attention back to the movie.

She leaned back into her seat and tried to focus on the movie but felt ponyboys occasional glances towards her. She felt his arm wrap around her shoulder as she felt her stomach flutter.

His body warmth engulfed her cold body, she moved closer to his side and rested her head onto his shoulder. Juliette yawned as she fighted the urge to fall asleep. Pony smiled to himself and rested his head on top of hers.

The movie shortly ended, the two walked out of the movie house as Juliette blew on her hands to warm them up. "that movie was confusing" Ponyboy told her disappointed as she nodded her head.

"Yeah tell me about it" she retorted as he chuckled a bit. "Are your hands that cold?" He asked concerned as she looked to him with a annoyed expression. "Yes? It's literally freezing out" She told him and rubbed them back together.

Ponyboy hesitantly grabbed her freezing hands and wrapped his hands around them, juliettes cheeks flushed as she smiled up at him.

"I dont get how your always warm" she huffed as he laughed and shrugged, "i dont get how your always cold" he teased as she nudged his shoulder. "Yeah whatever" she mumbled as Ponyboy smiled.

The two walked down the sidewalk to juliettes house as they held hands and swung it back and forth. "Do your parents know about me?" Ponyboy asked out of the blue as she furrowed her brows at him.

"No why?" She answered as his fell fell slightly. "When are you gonna tell them?" He questioned her which made her gulp in response. "I dont know" She answered truthfully as his shoulders slumped.

"Well you can just not tell them" he told her as Juliette rolled her eyes slightly at him. "Listen, i dont even know what we are, and second of all you've never even asked to come over to meet them" she reasoned as he bit his lip a little and looked to the brown haired girl.

"I dont know either Juliette" he replied frustrated as she turned her head to look at her house coming into view. "Thanks for the movie and walking me home" she mumbled as he nodded his head and put his hands into his jean pockets.

"Ill see you later" she gave him a small smile as he nodded his head and waved goodbye, "yeah ill see you later" he confirmed.

They are such cuties, but im also kinds scared im making this cringy but honestly i dont even care😭. Anyways enjoy this chapter, but also i feel like this book is dry of drama. But like what kind of drama should i write??
