Ponyboy laid beside Soda in their shared bed with the moonlight shining through the blinds, he rolled over to face Soda and propped himself up with his elbow. "Soda?" He whispered and poked his shoulder. "What?" He asked sleepily as Ponyboy pondered his question, how to word it, and try to not make it sound corny.

"How do you tell a girl you like her?" Ponyboy asked his older brother with his cheeks turning a pink color, soda perked up and looked at him. "is this about Julie?" Soda asked him with a smirk and sat up. "Yeah" he mumbled embarrassingly as Sodapop smiled at his younger brother.

"Hey no need to be embarrassed okay?" Sodapop reassured him and patted his shoulder as Ponyboy nodded shyly. "Just go for it" Soda told him as he raised a eyebrow confused at the simple answer. "But how?" He questioned as Sodapop looked up to ceiling and thought about his answer.

"Just be straightforward with her, tell her that you like her and then just kiss her i guess" Sodapop explained to him as Ponyboy nodded slowly. "Is that what ya did with sandy?" He asked as Sodapops smile faltered a bit, "yeah" he confirmed as Ponyboy nodded and gave his brother a sympathetic smile.

"Thanks soda" Ponyboy thanked him as Sodapop smiled a bit, "yeah no problem" sodapop patted his brothers back as laid back down next to pony.

The youngest Curtis boy laid in the cramped bed as Soda began snoring next to him, pondering how he was going to confess his feelings to Juliette. What would she say? Would she like him back? Would she be uncomfortable?

A million thoughts and questions raced throughout his mind not helping with his nerves that were already through the roof. He closed his eyes and tried to let it slip into the back of his mind and finally try to get enough sleep.

Juliette stood at her locker as somebody tapped her shoulder, she turned to see ponyboy as she smiled to him, "hey julie" he greeted her. She opened her locker up "hey pony" she greeted him back and grabbed her books from her locker and shut it.

"You still down for our spot today?" He asked while fidgeting with his fingers as she nodded her head in confirmation and walked away from her locker with Ponyboy following in pursuit, "yeah of course" she smiled as Ponyboy nodded his head eagerly.

The two walked to class together which of course ended up with Socs glaring at the pair and even greasers disappointed with Ponyboy hanging around Juliette. The two walked into the classroom and walked to their separate seats away from each other.

Ponyboy had often found himself admiring Juliette from his seat, which resulted with him drowning out the teachers lectures. And ended up making him more confused then ever on the homework that was assigned.

The clock kept ticking until it finally landed on 3 telling everyone school was finally over which made Ponyboys anxiety creep up.

Juliette beat ponyboy out of school as she waited on the steps for him to walk out.

"Finally" she teased him as he rolled his eyes and joined her to beganwalking to their secluded spot, "oh get over yourself" Ponyboy nudged her shoulder. Juliette huffed dramatically and continued walking alongside ponyboy in a comfortable silence and occasionally chatting here and there.

The two finally reached their spot with time to still wait for the sun to set, Ponyboy stared at the sky as Juliette looked at his face with her stomach fluttering. "Pony?" Juliette asked as he turned to face her confused.

"Is something wrong?" Ponyboy asked as Juliette looked to him with her cheeks blushing, "no" she replied nervously as he nodded his head unsure and glanced down to her lips. The sun was just beginning to set with a swirl of oranges and pinks dancing together in the sky as the bright yellow sun began to set lower and lower below the horizon.

Juliette rested her head on Ponyboys shoulder tiredly, which surprised him but soon wrapped his arms around her body, "julie?" Ponyboy spoke quietly as she turned her head to him, his arms moved from around her body to cupping her face.

Her breath hitched in her throat as Ponyboy leaned forward, before she knew his lips were on hers, she felt enchanted. The butterflies in her stomach flew faster and her arms wrapped around his neck pulling him closer to her body.

The twos lips parted as Ponyboy rested his forehead on hers, she smiled slightly as his arms wrapped around her waist. "I like you" He whispered as she grinned and kissed him back on the lips, "me too" she whispered against his lips which resulted him smiling against her soft pink lips.

Her head rested on his chest while Ponyboys arms wrapped around her bringing her body closer to his. She traced patterns on his clothed chest with her finger which made him smile and giddy inside, he looked down to her content face as she rested on top of him staring at the sunset.

Juliette didn't want to move nor did Ponyboy, they wanted to stay like this taking in each others comfort and warmth and blocking out the outside world, this was something that Juliette wanted forevermore and so did Ponyboy.
