As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the blinds, Victoria stirred from her slumber, blinking sleepily as she adjusted to the gentle morning light. With a soft yawn, she stretched out her limbs, feeling the warmth of Caitlin's arms wrapping around her.

"Cait wake up," Victoria whispered, nudging her gently. "It's time to get up."

But Caitlin, still lost in the depths of sleep, merely grumbled and pulled Victoria closer, her arms tightening around her in a sleepy embrace.

"No, five more minutes," she mumbled, burying her face in Victoria's hair.

Victoria couldn't help but chuckle at Caitlin's stubbornness, her heart swelling with affection

"Come on Cait" she teased, planting a soft kiss on Caitlin's forehead. "We need to get up."

But Caitlin only groaned in response, her grip on Victoria tightening as she snuggled closer.

"I'm not moving," she declared, her voice muffled against Victoria's shoulder. "I'm too comfortable"

Victoria couldn't help but laugh at Caitlin, her fingers tracing lazy circles on her back as she tried once again to get her up "Okay, okay," she gave in, relenting to Caitlin's stubbornness. "But you know practice starts soon, right?"

Caitlin's eyes shot open at the mention of practice, her demeanor shifting from sleepy contentment to sudden alertness in an instant.

"What? What time is it?" she exclaimed, sitting up abruptly and scrambling for her phone.

"It's almost time for practice," Victoria replied with a grin, watching as Caitlin's eyes widened in panic. "You better hurry up if you don't want to be late."

Caitlin leaped out of bed, her movements swift and purposeful as she hurriedly gathered her belongings and dashed towards the door. "Thanks for waking me up, Vic!" she called over her shoulder, flashing Victoria a grateful smile before disappearing out the dorm and into the hallway.

Later, at practice, Caitlin arrived slightly out of breath, her cheeks flushed with exertion as she hurried to join her teammates on the court. Coach Bluder raised an eyebrow at her tardiness, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. As Caitlin joined her teammates on the court, she was met with a chorus of playful teasing from Kate, Jada, and Gabbie.

"she decided to finally join us" Kate teased, her eyebrows raised suggestively as she nudged Jada and Gabbie. "Late night, Caitlin?"

Jada chimed in with a playful smirk, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yeah, Caitlin, what were you up to last night? Or I don't know, who were you up to?" she teased, earning a chorus of giggles from the rest of the team.

Caitlin felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment at their teasing, but she couldn't help but laugh along with them. "Oh shut up nothing happened," she admitted with a sheepish grin.

Gabbie raised an eyebrow in mock surprise, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Oh no because you and Vic are just friends"

Jada laughed at this "hilarious how everybody but you two knows that you're more then friends" she added, looking at Caitlin with a smirk.

But as the teasing continued, Coach Bluder couldn't help but interject, her voice cutting through the laughter with a hint of amusement.

" let's give Caitlin a break, I don't need to know what you and my granddaughter do, Caitlin," she added, her tone playful yet tinged with a hint of sarcasm.

While the girls were practicing Victoria sat across from her friend Olivia in the bustling café, a smile playing on her lips as she caught up on lost time. It had been a while since they last saw each other, and Victoria was eager to share the events of the previous night.

"So, tell me everything," Olivia said eagerly, leaning in closer with a glint of curiosity in her eyes. "How was the party? Did you have fun?"

Victoria's smile widened as she started talking of the night's events, detailing every moment she had shared with Caitlin.

"Shut up, there's no way you two are just friends," Olivia insisted, her tone laced with disbelief.

"I mean, come on, the way she's that touchy with you? It's obvious there's something more going on."

Victoria laughed at Olivia's insistence, shaking her head in amusement. "Trust me, we're just friends," she insisted, though a part of her couldn't help but wonder if Olivia might be onto something.

Before the conversation could continue, Victoria changed the subject, eager to share some exciting news with her friend.

"Hey, guess what? Tomorrow night, we're having dinner with Caitlin, Jada, Gabbie, Kate, and some other friends," she announced, a hint of excitement in her voice. "You should come! It'll be a great chance for you to meet everyone."

Olivia's eyes lit up at the invitation, a smile spreading across her face. "Really? I'd love to!" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable.

As Victoria and Olivia finished their lunch, they decided to take a leisurely stroll around campus, enjoying the autumn air. As they walked, Olivia suddenly stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening in excitement.

"Hey, isn't that your grandma over there?" Olivia exclaimed, pointing towards the nearby gym where the basketball team was in the middle of practice.

Victoria followed Olivia's gaze and sure enough, there was her grandmother, Coach Bluder, overseeing the practice. Before Victoria could react, Olivia grabbed her hand and began pulling her towards the gym.

"Come on, let's go say hi to your grandma, I haven't seen her in ages!" Olivia urged, her enthusiasm infectious as she dragged Victoria along.

Victoria hesitated, feeling a sense of reluctance at the thought of interrupting practice. "I don't know, Liv. They're in the middle of practice, we shouldn't bother them," she protested, trying to dissuade Olivia from going.

But Olivia was undeterred, her determination unwavering as she continued to pull Victoria towards the gym. "Oh, come on, Victoria! It'll only take a minute, I promise," she insisted, her excitement palpable.

Reluctantly, Victoria followed Olivia into the gym, the sounds of practice growing louder with each step. As soon as Victoria stepped into the gym, the girls' reactions were immediate. They erupted into wolf whistles and cheers, their voices echoing across the gymnasium as they called out Caitlin's name teasingly.

Caitlin, who was in the middle of a drill, looked up in surprise at the commotion, her eyes widening as she spotted Victoria and Olivia standing on the sidelines. Without missing a beat, she abandoned her position and sprinted over to them, a grin spreading across her face.

"Hey, Vic! What are you doing here?" Caitlin exclaimed, wrapping her in a quick hug.

Before Victoria could respond, Coach Bluder interjected with a playful tone. "Caitlin, hands off my granddaughter," she said, wagging her finger at Caitlin with mock severity. "Five laps around the gym, now go!"

Caitlin chuckled at her coach's antics, giving Victoria a quick wink before jogging off

As Victoria and Olivia made their way out of the gym, their laughter still echoed in the air, before they walked out the door Kate called Victorias name.

"Hey Vic, no goodbye kiss for Caitlin?" Kate called out teasingly

Victoria turned around, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment as she caught sight of Caitlin standing nearby, a grin on her face. Victoria rolled her eyes playfully and blew Caitlin a kiss, earning a round of laughter and cheers from the rest of the team.

Caitlin caught the kiss in an extremely dramatic way, winking at Victoria.
