titan, a heavy trail was left behind it as if it was making it's way bit by bit. A few plants already grew within the crater trail behind, meaning it's spent so may months crawling.

Eren walked over to check on titan up close, placing a hand while Floch warns him loudly.

With giving the word Eren ushered the rest to keep going, leaving the titan alone. It wasn't worth killing, not being a threat to them at all. Without another word, they continued forward on their horses at a steady but fast pace. The steps grew heavier, and Akira's eyes held nothing but relief to see the outside world. Once they reach closer to the edge of the land, they galloped through sand dunes.

Approaching the edge they all noticed a cemented wall, built taller than a normal five to ten meter titan.

The structure was still built so perfectly, as Akira's eyes glance over at it with curiosity. They steer their horses up to a sandy hill, feeling the shadow from the walls disappear before being greeted by the glowing sunlight. The air smelt salty to their noses, almost tasting it on their tongues and the wind was much cooler and breezier hearing crashing waves in the distance.

Akira and Lena's eyes slowly widen in awe, when they all halted their horses to take in the scenery they longed waited for.

Levi and Hanji were even taken back by the amount of water that stretched out, as far as they could see. It was so big and huge, it was like a never ending lake. The wind blew more calmly through Akira's hair, her cheeks glowing in response by the beauty of the sea. Within moments the young children jumped off their horses, running down sandy hill almost toppling over each other.

Akira swings her leg to the side steadily, landing firmly on the loose golden warm sand.

"Hey! Connie, I'm gonna beat ya!!!" Sasha pokes her tongue out, while pulling her boots off with enthusiasm almost tripping over. Connie does the same, watching them roll their pants up to their knees before charging into the water. Connie and Sasha tackle each other splashing and having fun, while Jean walks in normally while tasting the water.

"Lena......it's so, beautiful....." her voice whispers, inhaling slowly taking in the pleasant and calming scent of the salty ocean air.

Lena chuckles, "It is indeed, let's go down with the kids....." ushering her to follow, as Mikasa, Eren and Armin walk down normally than the other three.

Sliding her boots off and rolling her pants to her knees, Lena does the same before leaving their boots behind and walked down the sand dune. The hot warm sand squishes between their toes, and unfamiliar feeling but it was nice. Making their way down Akira makes her way to the sea first, reaching the shore before dipping her feet into the cool water.

"So cold!" Akira exclaims, her eyes widen in surprise earning a chuckle from her assistant. Soon Lena rushes up to her and runs into the water like a big child, as she splashes the water beneath her strides.

"Wow, it is cold!!!!" She squeals, earning another cheer from Hanji not far. Hanji was also embracing the large sea, splashing the water as she excitedly meets Akira's eyes like she was about to ramble about how great the ocean was.

"Akira, this is amazing!!!" Hanji cheers, as Akira walks up to her. "Come on, convince that grumpy old husband of yours to test the waters!"

Akira glanced over he shoulder to see Levi grimace, but his expression changes to a softer one when he locks eyes with her. She walks up to him with a look of concern, "Come on Levi, dip your feet in..." She softly spoke, but not demanding or pressuring for him.

"Tch, I ain't gonna dip my feet in there....dunno where that's been," He spoke bitterly, clicking his teeth. He rolls his eyes, wile she took his hand and interlaces her fingers through his own with a gentle squeeze. "Besides, I don't want you to touch anything that could be poisonous like that dumbass with the glasses is doing..." nudging his head, in Hanji's direction.

Hanji lifts up something but gets surprised, as a small creatures crawls from it's sell, earning the crazy scientist to jump in surprise throwing it back to sea.

Akira turns to Levi and continues to hold his hand, "Yeah but that's Hanji, she'll always be curious.." seeing Lena pulling hanji away from another strange object, struggling to hold the curious scientist.

"No, Hanji...no...no," Lena tugs on hanji, but is flung back landing flat on her ass in the sand. Akira couldn't help but stifle a chuckle, as Levi sees his wife smiling a little bit. A little relief washes over him to see at least a smile, as it wasn't use to her usual cold exterior. It wasn't her, but she went through a heavy loss so he couldn't blame her.

But seeing her smiling a little, was just enough to put him at ease that she's slowly recovering.

"Alright.......I'll dip my feet for a bit," He sighs reluctantly, before taking his boots off which causes Akira to pause. She stares at him for a few moments, wondering if he was being serious or not. He notices her silence, glancing up while taking his last boot off and rolled his pants to his knees. "I mean it......dumbass..." with a sigh, while a smile curls upon her lips.

She smiles warmly, "Thank you,"

With that he takes her hand and tugs her along with him, not saying a word and avoiding hanji's teasing grin. Once the sounds of the water rippling beneath their feet was heard, he didn't seem agitated by the water. It was more of a calming effect, as the sand sand squishes between their toes. Once they settle at a good distance away from Hanji and Lena, Levi's arm securely wraps protectively around her stomach resting his chin upon her shoulder.

Her back leans against his firm chest, the silence comfortable and at ease with how pleasant the open sea is.

"Akira......listen, I know I'm still cold and not being warming as a husband should be," He breaks the silence, his warm breath tickling the side of her jaw and neck. "I know we've lost something special months ago, and I know you were prepared to be a mother.....and the subject is sensitive to discuss.....but I want to know, do you wish to still bear my children?"

She felt her chest tighten as he mentions about the topic, but she sighs deeply and shakily. "I would love to have children, but I'm afraid....." she admits quietly, her voice changing subtly to a tremble. Levi brushes a few strands of hair away from her neck, and presses a soft kiss to her subtle skin. ".....I don't my child to feel pain, I don't want to make the same mista--"

"Akira," his voice was more stern, but soft and gentle. "Please, stop blaming yourself......it was unpredictable, we didn't know til it was too late. When your comfortable, we can try again and this time we'll do better and raise our children right. We'll protect them, give them the love we never got......and I know you'll be the perfect woman to bear my children. The perfect mother...." he presses a soft kiss between her earlobe and jawline. ".....I swear I'll protect you, and be better for you."

Those words were soon buried into her heart, his words filled with sincerity and emotion that was unlike Levi to say. She took them to heart, and soon considers and nods.

"Step by step......."

He chuckles warmly pressing another kiss to her neck, "Step by step, I promise...."

"Oi!!!! Lovebirds!!!!" Hanji's voice rang, over the crashing waves of the sea. "Oi!!!!"

Levi sighs, "Pretend we didn't hear......" he murmurs, his grip tightens around her plush middle while Akira chuckles softly leaning into him.

"Shouldn't ignore her, or she'll keep pestering,"

"Let her, just let me hold you....." He mutters, more possessively and his grip holds tightly around her more. His warmth soaking into her back, allowing himself to relax into her more enjoying how soft and squishy she feels in his arms. He inhales and then exhales deeply, "Your so soft......so warm....." in a low voice.

"We'll be over Hanji, just give him a moment!!" Akira calls, allowing Hanji to stop pestering for a few more minutes.

Their eyes soon lie beyond the horizon of the ocean, as the orange hues of the sun setting reflects against the water of the ocean.

"Well this is only a step forward,"

Akira nods in agreement, "We will, and the answers we've questioned for so long,"
