London gasped, once again, as she was the first to break the kiss and turn her head to the left to see who it was. Still laying on the table, half-naked and extremely turned up by The Professor, hoping now things would go in her favor, she had a heart attack once again after seeing who caught them this time.

The Professor also looked up with London at the same time to see who it was and wanted for this moment to freeze in time. You probably already guessed that it was none other than Lisbon. And let me tell you, her reaction and thoughts are worth every word I'm about to tell you so listen up.

Raquel looked at London and The Professor back and forth for a time limit that was longer than they expected. As her jaw was almost glued to the floor, the two scrambled to put their clothes on, but London only covered herself up with her shirt so that she would have some coverage because the startlement was too much.

Lisbon didn't say a word for about 10 seconds trying to understand the situation. To say that she was shocked would be an understatement: she was astonished by what she saw. Her lover, The Professor, with another gang member, London? The two of them would have never popped in her mind as a potential couple.

Even though The Professor always admired London, practically the same way as he did about Lisbon, he never showed his admiration out in the open for someone to see. He kept it to himself the same way London kept her love towards him for so long until that amazing night not so long ago.

"Raquel! It's not what you think it is!" London tried to say something but only managed to spit out the most basic and predictable line in this situation possible. She looked at Lisbon with eyes of fear and back at The Professor who was just as shocked as her.

"Oh, I think I know what this is." Lisbon replied sternly and angry as she walked closer to them. London even backed away, scared of what the woman might do to her right now. Even though there was a huge table separating them apart, London was still feeling afraid. "I just-I can't believe it!" She sarcastically laughed and looked at The Professor.

Their eyes met one another as The Professor struggled to find the correct words to build a sentence. "Raquel, please, I can explain everything to you..." But Raquel wasn't in the mood to be listening to one of his ridiculous explanations.

"No, no you don't need to do that!" She even yelled with no intentions of being calm or collective. "I already saw everything I had to see. You're fucking London." She pointed at the scared woman. "I should have known- the smartest one of the fucking group, huh? You go so well with him!"

"Raquel, please..." London was almost on the verge of tears hearing and seeing Lisbon's reaction. This was the moment she feared the most ever since she kissed Sergio for the first time. She would have rather gotten shot at the Royal Mint rather than be in this. "...we can sort this out."

"There's nothing to sort out, London!" She yelled out with a furious look. "I understand everything right now. Everything. Well, congratulations! Good luck being with this son of a bitch!" She pointed at The Professor. "Hope you have a lovely life."

Lisbon turned around away from them without another single thought or word as she marched straight towards the door as London shouted her name wanting her to come back. "Raquel, please! Come back!"

But Lisbon almost ran through that threshold and slammed the door on her way out as hard as she could. London sighed as she could feel the tears beginning to form in her eyes. She was still covering herself with her shirt on her chest as she tried keeping herself collected even though she already failed at that. "God fucking damn it..."

"So, she just left you there? With nothing else?" Tokyo asked in disbelief as London marched around the room regarding herself everything that just happened.

London had called in Tokyo to tell her everything that had happened, mostly because she was hoping for some advice from her, but knowing that it's Tokyo, she wasn't about to get the advice she was looking for.

So London paced around the room without a stop as she wished that would help her find the solution. But she was just growing tenser and scared by the second as Tokyo sat on the edge of the bed and followed her with her eyes.

"Yes! And right now I need some help so can you tell me what the hell am I supposed to do?" London stopped right in front of Tokyo with her hands out and with emotions visible on her face.

Tokyo examined her and sighed. "London, I seriously have no clue what to tell you..." Tokyo responded with a disappointed voice as London sighed and started walking around once again. "...but I don't think there's anything else you can do right now." Tokyo tried to help her. "you just have to answer one question to yourself and you'll understand."

"Oh, really?" London asked as she stood over to the side with one of her hands on her hip and looked at Tokyo. "And what's that million-dollar question, may I ask?"

Tokyo turned to her side and answered her pretty calmly. "Easy: do you love him or not?"

London chuckled as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms on her chest. "You gotta be fucking kidding me. I don't know the answer to that!"

Tokyo tilted her head at her with a smile as London sighed and fell on the bed on her back completely disoriented about what happened and how she's supposed to fix things. "I just don't understand!" She groaned as she rubbed her face with her hands.

Tokyo giggled and fell on her back as well, laying so close next to London it seemed as if their heads were almost touching as they looked up at the ceiling. "Just answer that simple question: do you love him or not?"

London looked down as she tried to find the answer in her head. "It's hard to say, Tokyo. Of course, I love him and would go to the end of the world with him, but is our love worth so much chaos amongst everyone?"

"Mine and Rio's was." Tokyo chuckled hearing that London just described her. "Or not. We'll never know."

"I just- Raquel hates me so much, the second she has time to bury me alive, I bet she will." London explained as she sat up on the edge of her bed. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do at all."

Tokyo sat up and moved closer to her and put her hand on her shoulder. "Hey, everything's going to be fine. Don't worry. You always do the right thing, you're the sanest member from all of us." She chuckled hoping to make London feel better. "You'll make the right decision. I know it."

A couple of confusion-filled days passed by as London and The Professor didn't talk once more. London spent her time thinking of what she should do only to conclude that she didn't. She could either listen to her heart or her brain. A situation I think we're all very familiar with.

Her brain was telling her to call off everything, break the relationship that she had with The Professor and forget this ever happened. Hoping that it would be easier this way to move on. Even though she knew it wouldn't.

At the same time though, her heart was telling her to forget about Raquel's presence, go and be with The Professor and enjoy her life until she entered the Bank of Spain and would be close to death full time.

But, knowing London, she, unfortunately, picked her brain. Hoping that it would go away before everyone else found out, except for Tokyo. After the lessons were over, London took a deep breath as she stood against the wall next to the door leading to the classroom.

She tried pulling herself together and softly knocked on the already opened door of the room and peeked in. "Hey..." She walked inside a little bit. "...can we talk?"

The Professor was sitting at his desk and studying the blueprints as she walked in but as soon as he saw her, he lifted his head and fixed his glasses. "Uh, yeah, sure."

London could feel the anxiety rushing in her body once again as the option of turning and running away was growing more acceptable by the second. She made it to the same place as the last time as The Professor stood right in front of her.

She took a deep breath and spoke up. "Listen, Sergio, I love you. I love you so much I would die to be with you. As I said before, you're the person who saved me. I'll be forever grateful to you but..." She took a moment to keep her tears back and for another deep breath in. "...but I don't think it's worth it.

I don't think this work and disarray are worth being together. I love you, and I always will, but...I just can't seem to let this happen." She sniffled as a small tear fell on her left cheek. "I'm sorry, Sergio. I really am."

"London-" The Professor listened to her talk not wanting to believe that's what she wanted. Even though she didn't.

"No, please, Sergio..." She cut him off coming closer and trying to hold in a silent sob. "...please, just...just forget about this. It'll be better for the both of us."

They looked deep into the eyes of each other with different thoughts running in their heads. London was regretting her life decisions and breaking The Professor's heart, looking like a selfish person who doesn't care about anyone else.

The Professor was in shock. Simple as that. Because no words could describe how hurt he was after hearing that. He couldn't bear to live without London, at all. Whether it would be together as a couple or just close friends.

London looked down as another tear fell from her eye and rolled down. She couldn't be any longer here with him seeing his face that would haunt her dreams. So she slowly turned around and walked away.

Sobs escaped her lips as she covered her mouth and didn't look back at Sergio who she left speechless. When she finally walked out, she ran as fast as she could right to her room. She slammed the door on her way in and fell on the bed and buried her head as hard as she could hoping that this would already be over.
