BLACKPINK's Hana has officially been confirmed to perform at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Until now, many other artists such as Lady Gaga and Celine Dion have been rumored to perform at the opening ceremony.

While some question why a French singer isn't performing instead, others argue that Hana, as well as the rest of Blackpink, have close ties to French president Emmanuel Macron. In addition, Hana is the most popular music artist in France.
