❲♢ Hana began her performance playing on a white grand piano. She brings to sing 'Bohemian' with just her piano. As the song progresses, the only other instrument hear are live violins behind her. After finishing the song, Bruno Mar rises up from beneath the stage in a matching white tuxedo and white guitar. The crowd screamed at the surprise stage collaboration. Together they passionately sing the beloved song. When the song hits its climax with Bruno's high note, Hana jumps up to dance in place like she had done in the music video. She sits back down after the extended instrumental ends and together, the duo finishes off the song.

The light goes out for a moment and a light shine on Hana who is now standing center on the main stage, surrounded by dancers. She performs 'Soul Lady' with stage props to resemble heaven. There were clouds everywhere and the whole stage looked like a dream.

During 'Fly-Day Chinatown' the high light of the performance is the live band. Hana didn't perform with any dancers, only with the band. The audience assisted Hana in singing the globally popular song. When the song came to an end, Hana waved her hand at the crowd as the rider brought her down from the stage. This gave people the impression the stage was over, but it was far from that. And as quickly and Hana left the stage, a familiar line echoed across the stadium.

Pst, I see dead people

Kendrick Lamar gives a surprise performance of 'Not Like Us'. The reaction of the other artists was priceless. The reaction of Niki from Enhypen was captured by the cameraman and he was clearly speechless and unsure how to act.
Kendrick Lamar made 70,000 people and an over 70 Kpop idols sing a Drake diss track word for word.

After his solo performance, an alternative into the American boy begins play. As Hana comes up on the risers behind him in a new outfit, Kendrick hypes up the crowd and introduces Hana. They perform the last song with energy to one of the loudest crowds of the entire night.

MOMENTS

- Alex from TXT running to help Luna walk down the flight of stairs when she needed to get change for her performance

- Sol's big return as the host for MAMA since 2019

- The first row was filled with A-listers in this order from left to right: Luna, Kendrick Lamar, Hana, Bruno Mars, Rosé

- Kpop idols breaking their necks to look at the three Blackpink members and their special guests

- When Hana began getting ready, Shohei kept asking if he could go with her and hung around the entire time, she was getting ready

- Bowing: This became a huge focus for kpop fans due to the difference in how low certain idols bowed. Idols bowed lower when Sol was the one presenting their award compared to other presenters. G-Dragon bowed 90-degrees to Sol when she presented his award. Treasure bowed the lowest to Sol out of everyone. When Hana and Kendrick accepted the award for best collaboration, Hana told him he needed to bow to the presenter, and he did.

- Mingyu and Luna avoided each other like the plague but between one of the commercial breaks, they snuck off together.

- Post-ceremony pictures with every YG artist attending

- There was a board backstage for the artist to pick the performance they were anticipating the most with the picture of each performing artist. The artists made their votes with pins. Hana, Luna, G Dragon, Rosé, New Jeans were the top 5 in that exact order.

- Hana wore a $350,000 necklace with her first outfit when performing.

- When Luna and Hana regrouped in the artist area at the start of the show, they tried intimidating each other and mockingly saying "I'm your competition'

- There was a line of groups outside their dressing rooms hopping to meet them

- Sol's husband and kids watched the award show from home just for her

- After her performance, Luna changed her shorts into a pair of pants because they were too short to sit in when she went back to the artist area.

- After the award show, the Blackpink members went back to Hana's L.A. home she shares with Shohei, and they got drunk
