~Somewhere In Newyork ◇
There sat a man at the head of the long, gleaming mahogany table, surrounded by his closest associates.
The room was deathly silent, the only sound coming from the slow ticking of the grandfather clock in the corner. Everyone in the room knew better than to cross the mob boss, the aura of power and danger that surrounded him was palpable.
Aaron's eyes flicked to each of his associates in turn, his gaze cold and unwavering.
The man's hands were trembling, a cold sweat breaking out on his brow as he tried to make himself as small as possible under the intense scrutiny of Aaron's gaze.
Aaron's lips curled into a cold smile as he stood up from his chair, slowly making his way around the table towards the traitor.Aaron came to a stop right in front of the traitor, staring down at him with cold, unfeeling eyes. One of his associates, a massive man with a cold, dead expression, stood silently behind the traitor, ready to take action at a moment's notice if necessary.
Aaron put his hands on the table, leaning down so that he was eye-to-eye with the trembling man.The traitor's whole body shook as he looked up into Aaron's emotionless face, his eyes wild with terror.
He knew better than to try to flee or resist, he knew there was no escaping the wrath of the mob boss. He swallowed hard, his throat dry as he opened his mouth to speak.Just as the traitor began to speak, Aaron reached into his pocket, pulling out a long, gleaming knife. The blade glinted in the dim light of the room, causing the traitor to flinch and cower even more. Aaron twirled the knife between his fingers with ease, a sly smile playing on his lips.
Aaron pushed the knife with a sudden force, twisting it deep into the traitor's throat before pulling back, watching with cold detachment as the man slumped to the floor, clutching at his bleeding wound. The room was silent as Aaron turned to look at the rest of his associates, a warning in his eyes.
After the confrontation with the traitor:
Aaron made his way to his personal bathroom, turning on the shower and standing under the hot spray of water. As the water cascaded down his body, he took a deep breath, trying to shake off the adrenaline and tension from the earlier scene. He had a party to get ready for, and he couldn't let his emotions show.
Meanwhile In brooklyn, Newyork
Eva sat at her dressing table, her hair falling in loose waves around her face, as she carefully applied her makeup. She looked at herself in the mirror, admiring the way the soft, golden light played off her skin, making her look radiant and beautiful. But her mind was elsewhere, wandering to the party she would be attending that night.
She was feeling nervous, her stomach twisting in knots as she thought about all the people she would be meeting and having to interact with. But at the same time, she was excited - after all, it was a fancy party, and she was wearing a beautiful dress. It was a beautiful, flowing gown in a deep shade of blue, her favorite color. She turned this way and that, admiring the way the dress clung to her curves and accentuated her petite figure.
Eva took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves.
Eva's friend Kyle had practically begged her to come to the party, telling her that it was a gathering of New York City's most eligible bachelors. Despite her protests, she had eventually agreed to accompany her, reluctantly agreeing to put on her best dress and make an appearance.
Although she had no interest in the rich, handsome men that would undoubtedly be present, she knew it would make Kyle happy to have her by her side.
At the party ,
The party was being held in a grand ballroom, with high ceilings and sparkling crystal chandeliers. The space was full of people, all dressed in their finest evening wear. Soft, elegant music played in the background, and waiters circulated with trays of drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
In one corner, a small stage had been set up for a band, and across the room, several tables were laid out with extravagant desserts.
As if on cue, Aaron entered the room,
drawing the attention of nearly everyone in the crowd. He wore a tailored suit, the fabric hugging his toned body in all the right places.
He had the air of someone who was used to being the center of attention, and he moved through the room with the confident grace of a panther. Heads turned as he passed, people murmuring to each other and stealing glances.
As Aaron surveyed the room, his eyes landed on a figure near the edge of the room. It was a young woman, her head bowed as she talked with a small group of people.
Even from a distance, Aaron could tell she was beautiful, her delicate features and slender frame catching his eye. He watched her for a moment, taking in the way her dress clung to her curves, appreciating the soft curve of her neck leading down to her shoulders.
Then, as if sensing his gaze on her, Eva looked up and their eyes met, a jolt of electricity ran through her body. For a moment, everything else seemed to fade away, the noise and the crowd becoming nothing but background noise.
Her heart began to pound in her chest as she held Aaron's gaze, unable to look away even if she wanted to. Across the room, Aaron felt the same jolt of electricity, his eyes locked on hers. He was struck by her beauty, her wide, innocent eyes and soft, full lips.
