Months past since the two dated

Now you had exams. Yeay!

You haven't seen Chifuyu in a while after that day, and he was the one who, you quote 'we have all the time in the world to spend together'. Well you didn't see him now.

You and him do chat each other occasionally. Sometimes if it was a very good day he would call you. Yeah again sometimes. You just hope he was busy studying and not have his face all reshape and redone. Next thing you know, he would come and see you with a dark eye.

You spin your pen around, now feeling lazy to study. Your mind was distracted from the math book you were doing. Ugh math, a menace to society. This thing should just burn itself.

DING!

You were about to continue and force yourself to go back studying, when suddenly your phone received a message. You thought it was Jess since this companion of yours had been bothering you for the past 10 minutes because they don't know how to do a certain equation. It was the same equation too. Man life's hard.

You put your pen down and took your phone. You were ready to give Jess another long explanation, when suddenly you realise that the person who was messaging you was not Jess but Chifuyu.

Is that what you wish? Yeah actually no it was really Jess that was messaging you.

"BESTIE I GOT THIS STUPID THING RIGHT FOR ONCE" they said in caps.

Talk about excited.

"Wait really?"

"YEAH! LIKE NOW I'M EINSTEIN HAH"

You laugh at how excited they were about getting one question correct for once.

"You should be a teacher like damn"

"Yeah no. I don't think I could handle those devils" you replied as you got up from your seat and walk to your bed.

"Yeah nevermind, but anyways, still no news?"

"No. He completely went POOF!"

"Maybe I should hit him with my mountain mushrooms. Maybe then he would call"

"That's not gonna hurt him Jess"

"You want to hurt him?" They ask. Somehow you could feel that they were very much happy to do that.

"I didn't mean that way imbecile"

"HEY DON'T CALL ME IMBECILE! I'M EINSTEIN"

You smile at their response. You were happy that Jess is your friend, they could make you laugh anytime and you need some cheering up. Thanks yo a certain someone who forgot about you.

You hands started typing again to send it to Jess.

"I wonder what he's doing..."

"THAT HURTS!" Chifuyu scream as Takemichi helps him treat the wound behind his back.

"I told you to stay stil Chifuyu" Takemitchi replied as he dabbed the part of Chifuyu's skin that was cut.

"Shit where did they even get a damn pipe" Chifuyu complain, wincing at every touch of the alcohol.

"Told you to be careful"

"I was! The place was suppose to be empty! How am I suppose to know they have a pipe" he complain.

Takemitchi laughed at his friend complaining like an old uncle. He had finish treating his wound and now it was Chifuyu's turn to do it to him.

Chifuyu turns around and grabs a cotton and put some alcohol on it.

"You better not scream" Chifuyu warn

"I wo- GAH THAT HURT!"

"I told you not to scream idiot!"

"IT HURTS STUPID"

"Well bear with it" Chifuyu said as he took a bandage to cover up Takemitchi wounds.

These two, well you guessed it, have a little bit of a quarrel with some gangs. A little disagreement between men you know. Men, heh.

"We don't have to see them anymore right?" Chifuyu ask as he sat down on his bed.

Both of them was at Chifuyu's house in the middle of the night. Takemitchi had told his parents that he would be sleeping there and since Chifuyu's mom was out of town, why not right?

"I hope not"

Takemitchi was now laying down on the comforter that Chifuyu had prepared for him. He was busy thinking of a person. A really important person.

"I don't know what to do" he whispered.

These days, it had became depressing for Takemitchi. Things got hard and Chifuyu couldn't do anything to help, other than giving him a little helping hand. He wanted to do more but he knew that would be hard without facing the consequences.

"Hey, you know I'll always be here for you right, partner?" Chifuyu said and gave Takemitchi a pat on the back.

"Thanks Chifuyu"

"Seriously man, when are you going to call me partner" he whine. He waited for so long for him to be call partner back.

"Hehe"

"Hehe for what! Do I need to teach you?"

"Haha...anyways, how's your 'other' partner?"

Chifuyu gave him a strange look after Takemitchi ask him that question. 'Other' partner?? He doesn't think he has one tho. Did he miss something?

"What do you mean 'other'?"

"Idiot, I meant your lover" he replied.

"..............."

"SHIT"

Chifuyu got up from his bed and immediately searched for his phone. He threw every pillow on his bed making Takemitchi who was on the floor having a 'dodge pillow' battle.

"WHERE'S MY PHONE?!" He scream.

"I DON'T KNOW WHERE DID YOU PUT IT"

"I DON'T KNOW"

Ah here we see two idiots in one room. They need braincells more than Jess.

Chifuyu searched for his phone like a madman. He went out of his room to make sure he didn't misplace it anywhere in the house. Chifuyu even went outside just to look for it. His phone must took itself on a walk or something.

"Dude try calling" he ask Takemitchi. He could have ask sooner but hey brain got a short circuit for a minute there.

Takemitchi took out his phone and started to dial Chifuyu's number. He heard in rang on the other line. Both of them then heard a really faint sound coming from out of Chifuyu's balcony window.

They both exchange confuse glances and Chifuyu went to check. He opened his window and there it was, his half dying phone. No seriously, it's dying from not the battery but literally.

He stare at his phone that was now shattered into pieces. How does it still ring? He doesn't know.

Chifuyu picked up and his and close the windows. He looks at Takemitchi with disbelief, while his dying phone lay perfectly on his palms.

"Takemitchi..."

"The hell happen?" He ask after seeing his friend's phone that was in pieces.

"This must happen when that bastard hit me" he replied.

"Right...what are you gonna do?"

"My mom's gonna kill me Takemitchi! I'm gonna die!"

"Calm down Chifuyu" He said, as he tried to calm his now panic friend "You have to worry about something else now"

"What's more important than having my butt kick by mom Takemichi????"

"Ouh I don't know, maybe the lover you left for about a week or two without news?"

"SHIT! GIVE ME YOUR PHONE" Chifuyu demand after realising that he had forgot about you AGAIN. He needs someone to knock his head. His memory is failing him more than it's failing his grandmother.

Takemichi handed his phone to Chifuyu and he immediately grab it. His fingers quickly dial your number and called you without any hesitation.

The line rang and soon he heard a voice.

"Hello, who is this?" The voice ask.

Chifuyu felt immediate relief after he heard your voice and not some random guy. He gave Chifuyu and little thumbs up and went out of his room after Takemitchi gave him permission to borrow his phone a bit longer.

"Hello?" The voice said again after not hearing any reply.

Chifuyu took a deep breath, getting himself ready for the worse.

"Hey, it's me Chifuyu..."

"..."

There was silence in the next line and that sent a shiver down his spine. He knew that he messed up. Messed up bad.

"Oh~ Matsuno, I haven't heard from you for a while" you greeted him.

"Ahahaha, sorry..."

"Hrmm...you even change you number" you continued. From your voice tone, he knew well you weren't in the mood to talk.

"My phone kinda got smashed, this is Takemitchi's number" he explain. Chifuyu's voice was a bit shaky. He never knew he could be scared of you from a phone call. Somehow now he didn't have the courage to see you and rather get hit by a pipe again.

"Ouh, how did it got smash?"

"Drats" he thought. Chifuyu then quickly thought of the most simple answer he could think of.

"It fell???"

"Chifuyu..." you knew he was lying. He wasn't really good at lying when needs to doesn't he.

Chifuyu let out a deep sigh, knowing that you didn't fall for that stupid excuse.

"Well I kinda got hit?? And the phone got smashed..."

"YOU GOT WHAT?!"

"I'm fine! Don't worry"

"How can I not worry when you said you got hit"

"It isn't as bad as it sounds"

"No, it's worse than it sounds. Are you really ok?" You ask. Now you're voice was filled with concern rather that anger.

He didn't want you to be worry for him. He was fine really, there was nothing to be worried about, but if he said that he knew you probably get mad again.

"I'm really fine"

He could hear a sigh escape your mouth after he said that. Chifuyu felt bad for leaving you hanging. He did say both of them had a lot of time to spend together, yet here he was. This was the first time he had try and call you after weeks.

"I'm sorry..." he said quietly.

"Aren't you studying?" You ask, trying to divert the conversation somewhere else. If you kept asking, you knew he wouldn't tell you anyways.

"I am actually" he said proudly

"Really??"

"Yeah! I study at day and do my 'things' at night"

"You sure you're having enough sleep?"

"Yeah don't worry"

It went quiet between the two of you after that. It was sort of awkward to talk to each other through a phone, since you can't actually see what the other is doing. At that time Chifuyu wanted to see your face so bad. He miss you.

Should he say it?

"I miss you"

Chifuyu thought he was the only one who felt that way and was being a little bit cringe but turns out he was not. He was surprise when the both of you had said that together at the same time.

"Well this is awkward" you said on the next line.

Chifuyu laugh listening to you. Now he realised how bad he misses you.

"What are you doing?" He ask softly.

"I just finish studying"

"That's good..."

"Yeah..."

This is not working. Why can't he just sprint out of this house and go to yours. It would have been much easier to talk.

"Can I go to you?"

"At this time?"

"Is that bad? Do I have to climb your window again?"

Chifuyu heard a little giggle at the end of line. Hearing you laugh made his mouth form a really bright smile. He was happy that he had finally heard your little laughs.

"I don't think that's a good idea Chifuyu. My parents are still awake"

"At this time?"

"Surprisingly yeah"

"Ermmmm..."

"I think I could meet you after exams"

"That's a week..."

"C'mon Chifuyu, you haven't seen me for the past more than 7 days! I'm sure you'll be fine"

He had to admit, that kinda hurt. He felt so bad for forgetting. With everything going on with his friends right now, Chifuyu's head was filled with worry for Takemitchi.

"I'm sorry"

"Hrmmm??"

"I'm sorry for not calling and everything, it's my fault..."

"...."

He didn't get any reply from you. He had thought you were actually really mad. That made him feel worse than he had already were.

"Chifuyu"

"Yes?"

"After exams let's hang"

"What?"

"I wanna meet Peke J"

"You want to meet my cat???"

"Well yeah! You met mine right, so I want to meet yours!!" You replied excitingly.

Chifuyu went silent for a moment and imagine the cute image of you playing with his cat. That made him smile like a whole idiot again.

"Let's do that!" He said happily. A huge grin was in his face.

"It's a deal then!"

"Yup"

"I have to go now Chifuyu, need sleep"

"Oh..."

Chifuyu who was just smiling seconds ago, now felt disappointed. He wanted to talk to you a bit more but...

A sigh escape his mouth "Yeah. Ok"

"Ehehe are you sad~" you tease. You saw a chance to tease him, so why not do it right?

"N,no I'm not!"

Chifuyu could hear you laugh after that. A laugh from you was all it takes to put a smile back on his face. What a cutie he is.

"Gotta now Byeeee" you said before ending the call.

"Sweet dreams..."

And the call ended.

Chifuyu stare at the phone for a few seconds, hoping that you might call back, but the phone stayed silent. Chifuyu went back to his room and saw Takemitchi laying down while staring outside the window of the room.

"How it went?" He ask.

"They were kinda mad but it's good now"

"Good for you"

"They said that they want to meet Peke J after exams ended" Chifuyu continued as he walk to his bed to lay down.

"So they are coming to your house"

"No, they are meeting Peke J"

Takemitchi frown his eyebrows in confusion. He wonders if his friend is completely oblivious or just stupid or maybe both. What does he mean by 'meeting Peke J only'

Takemitchi got up and turn to look at Chifuyu. He was still wearing his confuse face on.

"What?" Chifuyu ask, after seeing Takemitchi looking at him weirdly.

"And where does Peke J live?" Takemitchi ask.

"My house??" Chifuyu answered, now he was confuse.

"And who's visiting Peke J????"

"They ar-"

Realisation hit Chifuyu and his eyes flew wide open.

"THEY'RE COMING TO MY HOUSE!" He scream and got back up from his bed.

"You're an idiot" Takemitchi said to his beloved partner.
