Your mind is fuzzy and hazy, and you couldn't even do as much. It feels like your entire consciousness is gone, like you're sleeping, more so— dreaming. You couldn't control your own movements, let alone the way you want to speak.

You wanted to stop yourself from saying those horrible things to Shigeo. The moment he arrived, was the moment you felt a surge of an unpleasant feeling of telling Shigeo that;

"I hate you, creep,"

"Leave me alone, I'm happy when I don't see you around,"

"You've got some nerve trying to win me back when you obviously broke my heart,"

"Why even bother to learn how to love or like me? You didn't even bother to bat an eye when you rejected me,"

You wanted to throw up when you said those words. But, Ekubo holds a strong grip on your free-will.

You would never say those words to Shigeo. Not in a million years, maybe even over your dead body.

Those horrible things you said to him... Were far from the truth.

And you wanted to throw it all up. Shigeo doesn't deserve to hear those. A sweet boy like him doesn't to deserve to be treated like that —

So, why is this terrible thing making you say those words to him?

But, suddenly- something appened that your mind can not comprehend. The moment when you saw a blinding light, you heard Shigeo shouted:

"HANAZAWA-SAN! PLEASE TAKE (Y/N) AND MIZUKI OUT OF HERE!" 

You felt a cold breeze brush against your cheeks, making you snap out of what seemed like a heavy trance. Someone was holding you securely, your eyes fluttered as you look at your footing.

You gulped as you began to panic.

"I-I'm in the air!!" You shouted frantically panicking.

Hanazawa laughed, "Don't move too much, (Y/n)-chan! I don't want to drop you—" He said.

You looked up to see him smiling at you, "What happened?!" You asked, still, panicking but not moving too much in fear that Teruki might accidentally let go of you.

"Something amazing..." He quietly said as he looked back at the giant broccoli. Both of you are in the bird view of the giant vegetable.

"I can't remember a thing! One thing I'm talking to this imposter of Shigeo, next thing I knew I'm floating with you! My mind is blowing up! Aaaaahhh!!" You screamed.

"Calm down, (Y/n)! I'll explain everything later once we get out of here," He said.

"Is Mizuki okay?" You said looking at him, tears were threatening to come out of your eyes.

Teruki nodded as he looked over to his other side. He was holding the passed out orange head like a sack of potatoes on his shoulder.

You sigh in relief as you wiped your tears that was threatening to come out of your eyes.

"Teru-san, please, take me to Shige," You said.

Teruki bit his inner lips as he sigh, "I can't do that right now, (Y/n)-chan. Shigeo-kun asked me to take you guys out of there, things are bound to get messy," He said.

"W-What do you mean?" You asked.

"Let's head to my place first, Mizuki seemed to get caught with my fight with —" Teruki immediately cut of his own sentence as he was about to say his delusional battle with Shigeo. Instantly, he changed the context, "With the imposter of Shigeo. Then I'll explain what's happening, don't lose your head, okay?" He asked as he gives you a smile.

"HOW THE HELL ARE WE FLOATING?!" You screamed.

"I'll explain that later too, calm down please," Teru said.

Teruki placed down a cup of hot chocolate in front of you. You looked over to Mizuki who's currently sleeping on Teruki's bed.

You looked up at Teruki as you sat on the dining table, you nodded and thanked him. Teruki grabbed his own cup and sat down in front of you, he sigh.

"I'm ready, I'm sure someone as smart and curious as you will have so many questions. Just— don't lose your head when I tell you everything," Teru said as he smiled at you.

"Okay..." You paused as you sigh, "Okay, Okay," You trailed of. You looked at Teruki worriedly, "Where's Shigeo?" You asked.

"He's fighting the impostor you claimed, or our 'used' to be friend, Ekubo," He truthfully said.

Your heart skipped a beat, "F-Fight? Shigeo? What?" You said in disbelief as your tone died down.

"(Y/n) you know about ESP and Psychic abilities?" Teruki asked.

You looked at back at him as you snapped out of your thoughts, " Ye-Yeah, thanks to my nerd brother," You said.

"Thanks great! Makes me explain less. Shigeo is the strongest out of all of us, so you don't need to worry about him. He's doing this so Ekubo will stop brainwashing every one in the city," Teruki explained as he took a sip from his hot chocolate.

"Wait... Uhm... Shigeo is an esper?" You asked in disbelief.

"Yeah— wait, he didn't tell it to you?" Teruki asked.

You nodded in silence as you look at the hot chocolate in front of you. You're worried about Shigeo, but most important, you're very weirded out. This was out of your mind comprehension.

"I-I should go and see if Shige's alright," You said as you stood up from your seat. But immediately, you were forced to sit back down by an unknown force.

You look over to Teruki who had used his psychokinesis to make you sit back down again.

"That's not a good idea, (Y/n). Shigeo let us out of that place for a reason, it's to keep you safe and out of the destructive battle," He said worriedly.

"But... I really can't comprehend anything right now— IM WORRIED ABOUT SHIGEO!" You whined.

"And that is why you should stay here and out of trouble," He said as he sigh, "How about I go and see it for you?" He asked.

"No, you're injured," you said as you narrowed your gaze at Teruki.

"Then we'll stay out of Shigeo's way. With you being there, I'm sure he's going to hold back— making him unable to defeat Ekubo." Teruki said.

"Do you have first aid? I'll tend your injuries. In the mean time, can you explain to me more what esp truly is? And what Shigeo's abilities are?" You asked.

Teruki huffed and nodded with a smile, "Sure. The first aid is at the bathroom," He informed.

You nodded and immediately stood up to get the first aid in the bathroom.

Teruki smiled at himself.

There was a knock on the door.

The sun was already setting, and Mizuki just woke up. But he still wasn't able to respond properly to any of your question since he looked like he's drunk.

But in reality, Mizuki was panicking on the inside when he woke up in an unfamiliar room. He thought he was a goner and got kidnapped by a bunch of weird cultist.

Teruki stood up from the seat as he walked towards the door to answer who's at the door. He was also ready if it was a possible enemy.

But, he sighed in relief when it was Shigeo. His whole entire uniform was gone, and he was wearing the t-shirt both of them bought the other day.

He looked exhausted, and also looked sad.

He managed to defeat Ekubo, but now, Ekubo's gone.

"Shigeo-kun," Teruki called out for his friend.

"Where's (Y/n)?" Shigeo immediately replied as he looked as worried as ever.

"She's inside. But first, we need to tend your injuries," Teruki said.

He looked over behind Shigeo to see Ritsu with a worried expression too.

The moment Ritsu snapped out of his trance from Ekubo, he immediately ran to go where his brother might be. It was just his luck that Shigeo was on his way towards Teruki's apartment, down side is that his old brother was limping towards here.

But don't worry, little Ritsu helped his brother to get here safely.

The Kageyama brother went inside as Teruki followed them. Upon seeing who entered the apartment, you stood up from your seat and immediately run towards Shigeo.

His eyes widened by your actions.

You pulled him into an embrace.

"Shigeeee! I'm so sorry for saying those horrible things to you! It was forced out of my will! I didn't mean any of those! Those were not true!" You whined.

"I-I know (Y/n), but please don't hug me too tight— everything hurts..." He quietly said.

You immediately let go of him as Teruki chuckled, handing you the first aid kit.

"S-Sorry... Shige. I'm just— worried. I got even more worried when Teruki told me everything," You said.

"Did you get brainwashed by Ekubo too, (Y/n)-Senpai?" Ritsu asked.

You nodded quietly as you began to tend Shigeo's wounds.

"Aren't you going to ask me if I got brainwashed too, Ritsu?" Mizuki said in which caught everyone's attention.

"I totally forgot you exist," Ritsu said.

"CRUEL!!" Mizuki cried.

"Hey.. It's alright, Kagaya-san," Teruki said giving him a smile.

"How about you marry me instead, Hanazawa?" Mizuki grinned at him.

"That's gay," Teruki said as he nervously laughed afterwards.

"It's not gay if it's the homies!"

"And he's back," You said to Shigeo.

"(Y/n)," Shigeo quietly called out for you.

While the three were having their own conversation, Shigeo took this opportunity to have a one-on-one talk with you without anyone interrupting.

You looked at him as you gently put a binder on his arm, "Hm?" You hummed in response.

"I was hurt," He said.

"Yeah, obviously, that's why I'm treating your wounds to make it less painful," You said as you turn your attention to his other arm.

"No, that's... That's not what I meant," He said.

You stayed quiet.

Shigeo continues with his words, "I know what you said wasn't real, but it hurts me for some reason. If you... If you say that to me without any one controlling you, I might... Lose it," He said as he lets his voice died down as he watched you tend his injured arms by gently putting a cast on it.

"Shige-chan, I would never say those words to you. Not in a million years," You said with a small smile. Looking at him, you instantly caught a blush on his cheeks in which made you chuckle.

He looks adorable.

But he's injured so, focus and tending his wounds first.

"I'm so glad... You're okay," Shigeo said as he smiled at you.

Now, that's your turn to blush. Every little he does, you adore. It's so hard not to adore him.

You huffed, "Dummy. You don't know how worried I was earlier," You said.

"I'm sorry..." He apologized.

"Promise me you won't do anything dangerous with your psychic abilities. I'm today's years old when I found out you're a psychic, I feel silly!" You whined as you gently put a bandage on his cheeks.

"I thought it was irrelevant to tell you that I'm an esper," He said.

"Dummy," You chuckled.

Meanwhile, at the three homies~

"I'm planning to cosplay Ichigo in a Santa's outfit in Christmas and run around the mall, yelling 'Ban-kai!' hehe, that'll be fun," Mizuki said with a dumb grin on his face.

"Are they doing okay over there? They seemed to be having a deep conversation," Teruki said as he looked over at the two lovebirds who are smiling at each other. What a bunch of cuties.

"Let them be for now, knowing (Y/n)-Senpai, I'm sure she's worried about Nii-san," Ritsu said in which made Teruki nodded in response.

"Did you guys hear what I said?" Mizuki asked the two.

Teruki looked at him he tilts his head to the side, "What is it, Kagaya-san?", He asked.

"I'm planning to wear some thongs on our human size Santa statue—"

"By the way, Ritsu, should we go by some snacks?" Teruki suddenly asked Ritsu, not wanting to go further conversation with Mizuki's topic at hand.

"Sure,"
