Shigeo was standing in front of your house. He doesn't know why, but he suddenly felt that he should walk with you towards school. After all, your house was not that far from his.
He, of course, had rung the doorbell from the gate of the house. He just waited patiently for you to come out.
You did act a little strange yesterday. Not only did you not face him to say those words, you just ran off to where ever you were going.
And Shigeo instantly know that something was wrong, but he couldn't pinpoint your problem, and maybe even help you if he doesn't know the main cause.
The bowl-cut-haired boy snapped out of his thoughts when the door of their house opened. He smiled unknowingly.
Though, his face turned into confusion. It was your big brother who had opened the door.
Yurio pushed down his glasses to take a good look at Mob. He clicked his tongue as he glared at the boy.
This somehow made Shigeo flinch and became stiff at his stern gaze.
"What are you doing here?" Yurio asked the boy in a stern manner.
"I-I'm here for (Y/n)!" Shigeo stuttered, feeling nervous and uncomfortable at the glare of your older brother.
Yurio crossed his arms against his chest and looked at your bedroom window at the second floor of the house. He looked back at Shigeo and sigh, "She's not feeling well, she's not going to school." Yurio said, hardening his stern gaze at Shigeo.
The boy nodded quietly as he bowed, "I understand, thank you," he said.
"Yeah, Yeah, you did my sister dirty. Now go, you're going to be late," Yurio said as he immediately enters the house and shut the door behind him.
The way he closed the door was so rough it made Shigeo flinch a little.
Though, his heart skipped a beat. Not in a good way kind of skipped.
What does your brother mean about him doing you dirty?
Did he do something inappropriate to (Y/n)?! H-How?
Shigeo looked down at the ground as he nervously sweats. He balled his hand into a fist.

Whatever it is that Yurio meant, it left Shigeo confused. It's going to be occupying his thoughts throughout the day, and he's sure he's going to overthink it right before going to bed.

Shigeo... Doesn't like this.

"WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT TO HIM?!" You angrily shouted at your older brother as you throw one of your stuffed toys at him.
"He deserves to be left confused after breaking your heart," He coldly replied.
"HE'S NOT EVEN AWARE OF IT!" You screamed, tears were threatening to come out of your eyes.
Yurio noticed as his face softened, "Shut up," He spat at you. He walked closer towards you and hand chop the top of your head, "Get dressed, we're going to grandpa's mansion," He informed you.
You glared at him, "Why?" You asked.
"Mom ordered me to take you there and get to house paper, you're the one who's going to inherit it," He said as he walked upstairs towards his bedroom to get his shirt changed.
"How come I didn't know that?" You asked as you follow him up.
"Because you're too busy screaming about how adorable that bowl-cut boy was the other day," He said, chuckling as he smirks.
A visible blush crept up on your cheeks as you pinched your brother's back, making him scream in pain.
"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" He shouted angrily as he looked back at you with a glare.
"Nothing, I'll go get change now," You said with a blank look as you quietly headed toward your room. Shutting the door behind you.
"Oh, that little shit..." Yurio mumbled as he rolled his eyes as opened his bedroom door.

Ritsu was walking alone on the sidewalk when he spotted the familiar orange head in front of him. He tilt his head to the side just a little bit, confused as to why Mizuki was alone.
Usually, he's walking alongside (Y/n). Maybe she's running late.
"Mizuki," Ritsu called out.
Though the orange head didn't turn his attention around and just kept walking.
The youngest Kageyama rolled his eyes as he decided to catch up with the orange head.
"Oi," Ritsu called out as he shove Mizuki's shoulder.
The orange head made a sound of 'oof' as he immediately took off his white wired earphones.
His eyes widened a bit to see that it was just Ritsu. The man was about to jump on him if he was a complete stranger. Mizuki gives his usual grin to Ritsu.
"Oh! Morning ricchan!" He greeted as he attempted to snake his arms around Ritsu's shoulder. But the boy immediately moved away from him.
"I told you to stop calling me that," He said as he glared at Mizuki who just laughed. Sighing, Ritsu talked once again, "Where's (Y/n)-Senpai?" He asked.
"Meh, I went to their house earlier before going here, her older brother told me that she's sick even though she's not," He said as he rolled his eyes, "She's just making an excuse to not see Mob after what happened yesterday," He said as he swings his earphone.
"Don't be too loud about it, you'll start another rumor in (Y/n)'s name," Ritsu said, a bit wary.
"Okay...?" Mizuki said, confused by his statement.
Ritsu sighed, "She had it that bad?" He asked.
"Beats me, heartbreak can be very out of the mood. It breaks a person's daily routine," Mizuki said.
"How would you know about heartbreak?" Ritsu asked as he smirk at the orange head.
Mizuki chuckled, more likely the start of evil laughter, "I've had it thrice or more," He said, smiling darkly at Ritsu.
"Creep," Ritsu said with a disgusted look on his face.
Both of them continued to walk towards the school, unaware of a certain someone that overheard their conversation.
Shigeo stopped walking in his tracks when he heard what Mizuki had said. What happened yesterday? Did he just seriously break (Y/n)'s heart and he's unaware of it?
What did he do—?
"I'll definitely do my best to confess to her!"
"(Y/n)-san?"
"Hi, Shigeo. Sorry, I gotta go,"
Those words and sentences played like a broken record inside Shigeo's thoughts.
[70%]
She heard him say those words yesterday. And it somehow broke her heart. But, didn't he say the moment (Y/n) confessed to her, he said that he likes someone else?
Feelings are confusing, especially for a boy like him. He doesn't even know how to properly express it without bursting.
How can someone like him be aware that he's already hurting someone else's feelings? Let alone (Y/n)'s?
Why is he confused about her and sometimes doubting his feeling for her and Tsubomi?
Why is it so difficult for him to be honest with himself?
People passing by just stared at the boy who stood motionless on the busy sidewalk.
How can someone like him ease the breaking heart of his best friend?
