With a big smile, you opened the door of your house with one of the spare keys you have. You always get home first before everyone else, and you have the house for yourself for a whole hour.

Taking off your shoes, you skipped your way upstairs to your room to get changed. Today was the best day of your life.

Seemingly, all of the hardworking and exhaustion you felt during this week seemed to have disappeared all of a sudden.

Seeing Shigeo smile genuinely at you was just so precious, and it seemed to have become a core memory for you.

You rarely see that boy smile.

The last time you have seen him smile for you that genuinely was when you guys were still children.

And what's the most precious thing about his smile, is you got it on camera. Of course, with his permission for you to take a video to show Mizuki, he agreed nonetheless.

You thought he was going to say no, considering that he's the type of guy that's camera conscious, but wouldn't you know? He looks good.

AND THAT MADE YOU BECAME MORE ATTRACTED TO HIM.

After finishing getting changed, you plop down to you bed. You got your phone as you scrolled through your camera roll and watch the video.

You chuckled when you watch as Shigeo fails to hit a bullseye at the mini game that the two of you played earlier. It was a shooting game, and he was trying his best to win the stuffed toy prize to give it to his little brother.

You fast forward the video to where you and Shigeo were just quietly staring at the people in the park. You pan the camera towards him and as immediately as he did, he seemingly smiled nervous while giving a peace sign.

But, what the camera captured made you pause the entire video as your cheeks turned bright red.

"Oh my god..." You breathe out as you sat down on your bed as you pull your legs towards your chest, and hugged it securely.

He looks...

"ADORABLE!!" You squealed as you let go of the phone and started punching your pillow.

"I WILL KEEP THIS! FOREVER!!" You said as you heart races against your chest.

It feels tight, but in a good way. You huffed as you brought your cold hands to your burning face. Slowly, you took a screenshot of it.

"I'm fucking crying... He's so adorable... If I can't have this bundle of sunshine, then I will just protect this bundle of sunshine," You said to your self as you stare at the screenshot you took.

Though, the moment your excitement died down, your smile slowly disappeared.

It somehow hurts you still thinking that you can never have a chance with Shigeo. You always thought of giving up, but whenever the chance it right there, something will come up.

Just like earlier.

You're not even trying anymore.

But seeing how Shigeo seemed to be bothered by something, you couldn't help but to try and make him feel better.

You could just try and detach yourself from him. Like, ignore him. Maybe the strong feelings you have for him will eventually die down.

But that's thought got shallow, and you didn't like the idea of ignore him. He's still your friend, and you promised him that you'll always be there for him.

It's a childhood promise, you can't break that because of your romantic feelings for him.

It's just making you sad that you can do anything else. It seemed selfish and cruel, but you don't want someone to take Shigeo away from you.

AY! WHY ARE YOU THINKING THAT WAY, (Y/N)?! You said it yourself! You're going to be happy for Shigeo! Even if the main source of his happiness is not you, you should still be happy for him! Aaaayhhhhh...

You thought as you tugged on your hair as you cover your face with a pillow and groaned.

If you could turn back time and meet your past self, you're sure as hell to slap her and tell her to not confess.

Today is the day!

The annual festival for your school to celebrate! And you heard that Ritsu's section is running a maid cafe.

And Mizuki was so thrilled he bought a new digital canon camera just to take a bunch of picture of Ritsu in a maid outfit.

He said; "It's for blackmail!"

You're sure that one day, when Mizuki reached a legal age, he's for sure going to end in jail.

For your section however, it's just a photobooth with many accesories to choose from. Since you've done so much before all of this event started, your classmates decided that it'd be best if you just chill and visit the other classrooms.

You were grateful for their kindness.

Walking around the school hallway, there were so many outsiders and students scattered around, talking to one another. There's also student from other schools.

You walked passed Shigeo's classroom. And their class decided to run a haunted theme for their class. But you saw no sign of Shigeo anywhere.

Though, you did spot Mezato. An acquaintance, and also a classmate of Shigeo.

"Mezato-san!" You greeted as she turned around, holding her pink camera as per usual.

"Oh! Hello, (Y/n)!" She greeted back.

"You seem busy! Where's Shigeo?" You asked, giving her a smile.

"Oh, I'm not sure. Though, you can check the first years, he did told me he'll check up on Ritsu," She replied.

You nod at her, "Thanks! See you later!" You said.

Mezato nodded in response as she shortly waves at the running girl.

'Huh, I wonder why Mob chose Takane over (Y/n)-chan. Seriously, his taste is unpredictable.'

She thought in which made her smile as she scoffed.

'I mean, both Takane and (Y/n) are good looking, hell both even got better grades! It's just their personality and likings. Meh, I'm not Mob so who am I to judge...'

You arrived at Ritsu's classroom as some of his classmate welcomed you inside. And once you step in, Mizuki was there along with few familiar faces.

Sho and Teruki were also inside along with Shigeo.

"Oi! It's (Y/n)-san!" Sho said with a grin, you gestures for you to come close to them, "Take a sit beside me!" He said.

"Hello, (Y/n)-chan! How was your friendly date with Shigeo yesterday?" Teruki asked as he tilted his head to the side.

Your smile disappeared and immediately display a disgusted look, "Stalker," you said.

"W-Wha—?" Teru.

Taking a sit beside Sho, you give Shigeo as a small wave as he nodded in response.

"I already have fifty pictures of Ritsu, HAHAHA! He'll never insult me, ever again!" Mizuki said as he laughs maniacally after.

"Please delete that, Kagaya-san," Shigeo said.

"What he said, Mizuki!" You said as you glare at your orange headed best friend.

"You're a creep," Sho said.

"Hey! We barely know each other!" Mizuki said, pointing at Sho while glaring at him.

"Exactly! And you're already a creep," Sho replied as he looked away from him and crossed his arms against his chest, leaning to his chair.

"I'm guessing that's everyone's first impression of you, Mizuki-san," Teru said with a flat smile.

"All your words hurt me. But, that's not gonna make me delete these pictures of Ritsu," He said.

"Mizu, I will smash that camera on your face if you don't do it now," You said with a serious tone as you glare at Mizuki.

"This camera was bought overseas, and it costs 123$, (Y/n)." He said.

You rolled your eyes as you huffed.

"Let him be," Ritsu arrived with a tray in his hand. It's probably the drinks Sho or either Teruki ordered.

Your eyes widened as it seemingly sparks.

"Oh, hello, (Y/n)-senpai," Ritsu greeted, giving you a small smile.

"Y'know what, Mizu? Keep the photos, Ritsu looks adorable," You said with a grin.

Ritsu's face immediately heat up as he looked over to his older brother, "Nii-san! Tell (Y/n) and Mizuki to stop!" He said.

This somehow made Shigeo laughed.

And in result for everyone on the table to stare at him as all of them were gone quiet.
