when enchantress joined the seven, maeve was the only person who was nice to her. they became really close and enchantress started to become incredibly jealous when homelander started dating maeve. soon, maeve started to fear homelander, which brought the two girls closer together, and they fell in love with one another.

when starlight first joined the seven, enchantress was cold to her, not wanting anything to do with her. she knew that if starlight wanted to survive in the seven, she couldn't be babied. eventually, enchantress started helping her here and there, and the two girls were close enough to consider each other friends.

enchantress had always feared homelander since the day she joined the seven. she knew how horrible he was, but it wasn't until the incident on flight 37 where her fear turned into pure terror. she knew not to piss him off because he would not only kill her but maeve as well. when homelander found out about maeve and enchantress' relationship, he was increasingly jealous and not only did he publicly out them, but also snuck into enchantress' room in the middle of the day while maeve was out to try to kill her, but then maeve caught him strangling her and stopped him.
