CORDELIA WAS WALKING TO HER POTIONS CLASS,when someone called out for her. She immediately turned around to see James Potter running up to her. "Hey Swanny," James said with a smile. "I was wondering if you could help me with something..."

Cordelia cut him off before he could finish. "No, a hundred times no. I don't care what it is, my answer is no." James huffed in frustration. "Please, please, Please... Swanny. I really need your help with Divination."

Cordelia paused in her tracks. "You... you want me to help you study for Divination?" she asked incredulously. James nodded eagerly. "Yes, please. I'm desperate." Cordelia raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Why would I help you, of all people? You hardly ever pay attention in class."

Cordelia thought for a moment before sighing herself. "Fine. I'll help you. But you better take it seriously if you want me to keep helping you." James's face lit up. "Yes, of course. Thank you so much, Swanny. You're the best!"

James and Cordelia decided to plan their studying session for the next day, after their regular classes. James was determined to make the most of this opportunity and put in the effort he needed to improve his performance in Divination or just to hang out with Cordelia. "Tomorrow after class then?" Cordelia confirmed, still somewhat skeptical about the entire situation.

"Yeah, perfect." James replied, feeling a surge of determination. "I'll be there, count on it."

Lacy couldn't believe her ears. "Wait, you're going to study with Potter? I thought you can't stand him!" she exclaimed. Cordelia nodded, her expression serious. "Yes, I do hate his guts, but I really need to focus on my own studies. In my last Divination exam, I only got a 94. A 94! Can you believe that?"

Lacy raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Wait, a 94 is still a really good grade." "I know, but it's not good enough for me," Cordelia replied firmly. "I need to get better, and if studying with Potter is the only way to do it, then so be it. My goal is to get a perfect score on the next exam."

Lacy scoffed playfully."Potter is shite at divination and you know it".Cordelia nodded in agreement. "I know, he's always goofing off in class and never takes it seriously."

She let out a frustrated sigh. "But he's also one of the few people in our year who has natural clairvoyant abilities. If I can get him to focus and actually study, then maybe we can both improve our grades."

Lacy raised an eyebrow. "You really think you can get him to study? Potter is practically a textbook slacker." Cordelia rolled her eyes. "I know, I know. But he's desperate for my help. He's even willing to do anything I ask just to get me to agree to help him."

Lacy chuckled. "Anything you ask, huh? Sounds like you've got him wrapped around your finger." Cordelia shrugged nonchalantly. "I wouldn't say that. More like... I have leverage."

" I did reject him back in our first year but he was just being sensitive ," Cordelia replied, her tone cool. "But frankly, I don't care if he's moved on to Evans now. All I care about is getting a perfect score on my Divination exam, and if studying with Potter is the only way to do it, then so be it."

Noah quietly approached Cordelia, his usual shy demeanor in place. He had heard the screams earlier and knew that something must be wrong."Cordelia," he whispered, tapping her on the shoulder. "Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Noah looked awkwardly at Lacy, then back at Cordelia. He wasn't used to speaking in front of people, let alone someone like Lacy. "It's okay, Noah," Cordelia said reassuringly. "Lacy doesn't bite... most of the time. She's my best friend. You can say whatever it is in front of her."

Noah took a deep breath and looked at Lacy hesitantly. He fidgeted with the edge of his robes as he spoke. "Um... I overheard some shouting earlier," he began, his voice barely above a whisper. "It sounded like it was coming from the fourth floor corridor."

Lacy raised an eyebrow, curious about what Noah had overheard. "Screams? Is that what you heard?" she asked, her tone casual. Noah nodded, still fidgeting with the edge of his robes. "Yeah, it was like a really loud scream. I couldn't quite make out what was being said, but it sounded like someone was in trouble."

Lacy gave a nonchalant shrug and chuckled. "Oh, maybe they were happy screams"Noah looked at Lacy with confusion. "Happy screams? What are happy screams?"

Lacy chuckled,"basically when someone is being pleasured real bloody nic-" Before Lacy could finish explaining, Cordelia interrupted her and hit her softly with a book. "Don't listen to her," she said firmly. "She's just being silly."

Noah still looked confused, but he decided not to ask any more questions about the "happy screams."
