3RD PERSON POV:

VICTORIA TELEPORTS TO THE TOP of the stage already in my pose, tipping her bowler's hat to the side. She is backlit so that the audience can only see the shape of her slim body against the vibrant blue background. "Ladies and Gentlemen, back from dead by popular demand, please welcome Caleb Covington!" The voice oversays loudly, making the boys of sunset curve look around for the voice until they see Caleb floating high above the stage as the beat of the song starts. Victoria concentrates as she makes the ceiling light up like twinkling stars.

The audience cheers loudly as Caleb starts to talk. "Did you miss me?" Caleb grins and the audience cheer once more. "I did too!" which makes Victoria roll her eyes at the comment as people laugh.

"Welcome... to the party of your dreams!" Caleb continues with a dramatic pause as he slowly starts floating down. The boys of sunset curve watch in awe. " From the Egyptians to the druids, to the person sitting next to you, we've all wondered, 'Where do we go when that final light gets snuffed out?'. Well, allow us to show you. Everyone! Put your hands together for Victoria Blue!" Caleb says, finishing his speech once he's reached the floor.

The crowd and Willie cheer loudly as Victoria's voice sounds around the room beginning the duet. "Let me introduce myself. We've got some time to kill. Consider me your pearly gates to your new favorite thrills." Victoria sings, not moving a muscle from her pose.

"We could go make history or you could rest in piece! But here there ain't no misery. Cause on the other side we live like kings." Caleb sings.

"What you gonna do? What you gonna do?" Victoria sings changing her pose on the beat while throwing her hat to the side.

"Let your body lose. Let your body lose." Caleb sings as Victoria changes her pose again. "What you gonna do? What you gonna do?" Caleb sings.

"I'll show you a thing or two because you ain't see nothing!" Victoria sings as she does a high kick and suddenly becomes fully visible as well as multiple dancers dressed in colorful flapper dresses and feathers. Victoria, like Caleb, is wearing an all-purple, long coat with shiny purple sequins on the inside. Her blond hair is thrown up in a neat bun with a few strands sticking out at the front.

From the table in the center of the room sits Luke Patterson along with his best friends and bandmates Alex and Reggie. Luke stares up at Victoria in awe as both she and Caleb continue to sing.

"Life is good on the other side of Hollywood! Life is good on the other side of Hollywood!" They sing as the band joins in with their instruments. "So welcome to the brotherhood where you won't be misunderstood. Life is good on the other side of Hollywood!"

Caleb walks up a few steps and Victoria takes off her coat reviling a white long-sleeved button-up shirt that's under a velvet purple vest that matches her pants.

Caleb reaches for her hand and they walk together down the steps to the front of the dance floor where many dancers are already dancing. "Everything has got a price but happiness is free. Just so happens, you're in luck. We got a vacancy." Caleb sings as he walks up to the center table where the boys are sitting.

"We can set the night on fire and break out on the scene. Your soul print of the walk of fame on the boulevard of your wildest dreams." Caleb continues as he pulls the table cloth up to revile Victoria sitting elegantly on the table in a new outfit, which is a blue sequin dress with her long curled hair now down, blue butterflies float away from her as she makes one land on Willie's nose.

She tilts her head back with a smile as Caleb sings "What you gonna do? What you gonna do, Boys? Let your body lose. Let your body lose."

"What you gonna do? What you gonna do, boys?" Caleb sings as Victoria turns so she lays on her stomach, resting her head on her palm.

"It ain't bragging if it's true. Now you ain't see nothing." She sings before winking at Luke and sliding off the table. As she walks up to the center of the stage Luke and Reggie share a look.

"Life is good on the other side of Hollywood. Life is good on the other side of Hollywood. So welcome to the brotherhood where you won't be his understood. Life is good on the other side of Hollywood." Victoria and Caleb duet together as he passes her his cane which she easily catches.

"The rain don't blind the rising souls. They got too much to see." Victoria sings as she twirls the cane and the audience claps along with Caleb.

"I got your glamour, got your gold, got all you'll ever need. Let me hear you now!" Caleb sings to the audience and catches his cane that Victoria throws back to him.

"Yeah, I got your glamour, got your gold. Got all you'll ever need. Yeah!" The dancers and the band sing this time as everyone claps to the beat.

"I said watch me make a move, watch me make a move, boys!" Victoria says jumping down to the top step of the stage and landing back down on the dance floor and dancing in-sink with the dancers around her.

"Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do? I said watch me make a move, no, I don't disappoint. Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do?" Caleb and the rest of the band sing as Victoria and many male dancers in bright pink jackets dance with her.

"Watch me make a move, I'm ya number one choice!" She sings as a dancer tips her.

"Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do? Watch me make a move. Come one and give me that noise. A tomb with a view. Ain't it something?" Caleb says gesturing to the two females who appeared on hanging hoops high above the tables. The audience watches as they do tricks and wink at some people below.

"Life is good on the other side of Hollywood. Life is good on the other side of Hollywood. So welcome to the brotherhood. Where you won't be misunderstood. Life is good on the other side of Hollywood. So welcome to the brotherhood. Where you won't be misunderstood. Life is good on the other side of Hollywood." Victoria and Caleb sing together, hitting the high notes as the song comes to an end.

"Ain't it the best? Long live the dead!" Caleb says as two dancers bring up some black fabric blocking the view of both him and Victoria. Once they drop the fabric the duo is gone.

VICTORIA'S POV:

The audience cheers loudly as Caleb and I teleport away from the stage. I can see the table where Willie is and the boys sitting around him are looking around in awe. One of them even had to be pulled to stand up and still looked like he was in a trance as a dancer winked at him.

"Time to say hello to our guests. Shall we?" Caleb asks reaching out his hand so we can teleport to their table together.

"I can get there on my own, thanks," I say sarcastically before teleporting next to Willie while he's talking mid-sentence.

"- should come back when he shows one of his movies. I mean, for titanic they literally flood the entire place. I mean they've got mad ski-" Willie says as he turns and gestures to the dance floor, which is when he notices I'm standing next to him with a smirk. "Hi," He says.

"Hi. We've got what now?" I tease.

Willie clears his throat and turns back to the boys and introduces us, "Guys. This is Victoria. Victoria. This is Alex, Luke, and Reggie."

"Hi, nice to meet you," I say. As I look between the trio the one in the middle, Luke catches my eye. He's wearing a long tie-dye jacket and his hair is turned upwards in certain parts. When he sees me looking at him, his eyes light up, and smiles at me, reviling his dimples.

"You too," Alex replies.

" You. You were. Just... Wow," Reggie sighs.

"Um. Thanks?" I smile, unsure of how to reply.

"He means you were great," Luke clarifies for me.

"Oh, Thank you," I say more confidently with a nod.

"So where is this guy that can help us?" Alex asks Willie.

"Someone call for me?" Caleb says, appearing between Alex and Luke making the boys jump. "Hello, boys. Caleb Covington. Welcome to the Hollywood ghost club. Enjoying the show?" Caleb asks.

Luke mumbles a few words, not forming a full sentence. "I know, right?" Caleb replies cockily, looking proudly up at the stage. Willie quickly introduces them before Caleb speaks again. "Please sit. Sit," Caleb insists, causing us all to take a seat around the table. I make sure to take the free seat next to Willie, having noticed that Alex was sitting on the opposite side.

"Thank you for the invite," Alex says to Caleb.

"Of course. Of course. Now my friend Willie tells me that you boys have some magic of your own," Caleb says to Alex.

Alex clears his throat and looks to Willie and back to Caleb. "Well... Willie and I? I mean I wouldn't call it magic, but I mean..." Alex says causing me to huff a smile as Willie clarifies.

"Oh, no. He means you're ghost abilities. You know, like, to be seen by everybody when you play with Julie," Willie says and side glares at me for laughing. In return, I give him an innocent smile but when I turn to see the blank and confused look from Luke and Reggie I can't help but laugh again, this time muffling it with the palm of my hand.

"No, totally. Right. No. Cause when you said, I was like, 'Is that what he said?' Cause,-" Alex stutters. I watch with an amused expression as Luke cuts him off.

"Yeah, but we don't really, wave our arms and do all this magic stuff," Luke says to Caleb, gesturing to the stage.

"Well, we've had practice. I only found out about my gift two years after being dead," I reply gaining a few surprised looks from them.

"Yes, well. Some gifts are so rare, so special. It's not often I meet other spirits who possess similar talents. It's no surprise we found each other," Caleb says watching as my expression falls hearing the words he said to me decades ago.

"Yeah, that definitely..." Luke agrees as Willie and I share a worried look.

"If you'll forgive me, fellas. I gotta go pay the bills if you know what I'm saying. I'll be back later to chat," Caleb says before walking over to a female in a tight black dress from the other side of the room.

"I love that dude. Please tell me this party's never gonna end," Reggie says looking at Willie and I. We share another look before putting a fake smile on our faces at his comment.

"They made eight more Star Wars movies, and they killed Han Solo?!" Reggie says with tears in his eyes. "What kind of future is this?" He adds before groaning and storming away from the couple I was introducing to Luke and Reggie.

Luke sighs and turns to the couple and I before saying, "We found out, like, two weeks ago, okay? We just didn't have the heart to tell him. Just please, don't mention Jar Jar."

We finish talking to the couple and I turn to see Willie and Alex still talking at the table. I tap Luke on the shoulder and nod to them. Luke turns to me with a raised eyebrow. "I see a relationship in bloom," I tell him.

Luke looks at them and grins back at me as Willie gets up to leave. "One sec. I'll be right back," He excuses himself before walking over to Alex. I see Willie looking around and I wave my arm so he can see me. Once he does he makes his way over.

"Hey. Did you hear what he said?" I ask him about Caleb.

"Yeah. I heard it too," Willie nods. "He's gonna do it. Isn't he?" he asks, his voice just above a whisper.

"It seems pretty likely at the moment," I nod looking down. "This doesn't feel right. We need to stop him," I add, looking up at my best friend who has the same worried expression as I do.

"I think we're too late," Willie says looking over my shoulder. I turn to see the boys talking to Caleb as he gestures to the stage.

"Damn it," I groan. Seconds later Caleb stands up and leaves as I walk over to the table. "What were you guys talking about?" I ask.

"Your show," Alex replies.

"Oh," I reply hiding the sudden relief that washed over me. "You guys want something to eat?" I ask, changing the subject.

"We can eat?" Reggie asks.

"Here you can. Hey Charlie, can we get some food over here please?" I ask a waiter nearby. Seconds later three waiters in their fancy suit uniforms come over with trays of burgers, sub sandwiches, and pizza. "I'm assuming you're hungry," I say as they eye the plies of food in front of them.

They all reach out to grab something when Alex stops them. "Wait... I want the one without cheese." Alex says before reaching for a tray. The boys start shoving food in their mouths while I watch with a mixed expression of horror and amusement.

When they see me looking they stop chewing in unison. "You want some?" Luke offers with his mouth half full. My eyebrows pull together at the uncomfortable sight.

"I'll pass. But you guys enjoy," I reply. I laugh when they all resume eating like animals like they don't have a care in the world except for food. They continue to express their love for it as they resume eating.

'Damn, I hope I didn't look like that after eating my first meal as a ghost,' I think to myself.
