"Woah... this school's environment is different from Harapan Highschool..."
Walking into the gate, (name) whistles, her eyes adjusting to the surroundings. Her red hair flows with each step she takes.
Entering the building, she looks around, sensing an unpleasant atmosphere; a panicked, worried one. She hums, wondering what just happened.
"Should I go upstairs?" She murmurs to herself. Her eyes avert up, that's where the shift of atmosphere she senses just now.
She climbs up the stairs, hands inside her pockets. Her head tilts to the side, her curious mind wondering what is happening and that she hasn't seen any teacher greet her.
"Huh?"
A curious hum catches her ears as she looks at her front, where a silver haired male, around her age, stops. Behind him are four older men, two of them wearing police uniforms.
She raises an eyebrow, the sight of the government dogs makes her frown, but she doesn't want to make a silly assumption on her first day here. So, she greets them.
"Oh... hello there!" She waves her hand at the male student cheerfully. "Are you a student here?" She walks straight to the silver haired student, ignoring the four older men, a friendly smile plasters across her face.
His eyes widen ever-so-slightly at her audacity and carefreeness, but softens them as a smile tugs on his pretty face. "Yes, I am. You're the new transfer student, right? From Indonesia, if I am correct?"
Officer Na silently watches their interaction, though his eyes solely glue on the red haired girl. He feels like he has seen that face somewhere...
"Mhm! If you're not busy, can you tell me where the teacher's room is?" She requests, her tone pressing on the presence of the policemen and the detective--- a hint of hatred in her voice is barely noticed by Officer Na.
"Hey, kid," one of the policemen steps in hesitantly. "We're in a rush, can you please ask someone else---"
"Right, I'm a bit busy right now, actually," the silver haired boy cuts the policeman off. "These people want to talk to me," he says, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly, as if he's not surrounded by the police.
The smile on (name)'s face flatters only for two seconds before it returns, though when she turns to Officer Na, he can tell that it's forced. "Would you mind?" She asks, her hands intertwining on her back as she gives him a close-eyed smile, bending slightly to lean in, closing some distance between her and the officer, who takes a step back.
Officer Na stares at her face for a few seconds before letting out a sigh. He rubs his hair frustratedly using one hand, while the other waves at her, shooing both the students away. "Fine, I don't know why you're so interested in him, kid, but make it quick. You redheads are so troublesome," He turns his gaze to the silver haired student.
"Phi Hanwool, come back here after you take her to the teacher's room. One of you, follow them." He instructs the police, who nod at his command.
The said teen just hums, slightly amused at his resignation at this girl in front of him. Interested in him, he says? Interesting.
"Well then, shall we go?" He turns to smile at the girl who nods her head in return. He tilts his head to the side, gesturing at her to follow him, which she does.
On their way, with a policeman following behind, Hanwool takes in the appearance of the girl beside him. Her red hair reaches under her shoulder, swaying gracefully with each step she takes. Her almond-shaped eyes are decorated with long eyelashes that are curler than any normal eyelashes, the dark brown pupils complimenting her look.
And he has to admit, Asian people do have a good face.
He finds himself staring at her for too long that she turns to him, the smile on her face that never falters widens slightly as she tilts her head to the side. Hanwool returns the smile and shakes his head silently.
"You're from Indonesia, right?" He asks, breaking the silence. "Your Korean is quite fluent."
The girl chuckles at the compliment. "I'm multilanguage," she says, turning her attention back to the front. "For personal purposes."
He hums in response, letting her know that he acknowledges her privacy, not prying into her life. He, too, returns his gaze to the front when she speaks again.
"Why were those government dogs surrounding you?" She asks, and that question makes him turn to her.
Right, he thoughts. She's a foreigner.
"Some things happen," he replies, carefully choosing his choices of words. "They want to investigate something, I guess."
He shrugs, closing his eyes as a sigh escapes his lips. The cop behind them makes an unsatisfied noise, much to his amusement.
"Well, that must be tough," (name) comments, her gaze still at the front. "I'd hate to be surrounded by those government dogs." She lets out a sigh, copying his gesture before.
A low chuckle escapes his lips as he halts his steps, stopping in front of a room, which (name) assumes the Teacher's room. "We're here," he confirms her assumption.
She smiles and turns to him, her eyes crescent as her lips curl upwards, and Hanwool finds himself admiring her beauty.
"Thank you," she thanks him sincerely. "Good luck on handling them." Hanwool lets out an amused laugh before nodding his head. "Sure, I think I kinda need that."
He turns his heels around, ready to leave, not before waving his hand at her, returning her friendly gesture.
Once again, the cop that follows them trails over his back, watching his every move carefully. Before the girl appeared he saw Hanwool smirked evilly, which sent shivers down his spine.
But now, his smirk feels different.
A transfer student, huh? His mind whispers in amusement. Can't wait to get to know you later.
