MAYA WAS ORGANIZING a party for chris—and his brothers. she invited most of there friends, nate, paige, cole, madi and some other people they both knew. she told lily, mariano, madison, leo, madi and luke to help with the decorations. "don't put any coke, chris is gonna have a whole conversation about how pepsi is better" maya told luke who was in charged of the drinks.

"where do i put these?" luke asked, beers in his hand. maya pointed to a table near the kitchen. "here's the cake" lily said, a medium sized cake in her hands. maya put the cake around the cupcakes, setting it all perfectly.

madison set up the happy birthday banner, leo putting some random balloons  on tables, maya setting around the food, lily helping her.

in a few minutes the triplets would be arriving, everyone was all set. they turned off all the lights, they each had confetti poppers. the plan was to wait till the triplets got there, and pop the confetti poppers to them as a suprise. all of the people that were invited were already here.

they heard keys jiggling, they hid under tables, ready to pop the confetti poppers. the triplet's opened the door to be received with a bunch of confetti coming out everywhere.

"happy birthday!" they all said in unison ( except the triplets ).

they all were gathered around the room, some were dancing around the room. maya and chris were over at drinks station, "did you plan this?" chris asked, a bit tired from the dancing. "i got help, i did most of the planning" maya drank her drink. "thank you" chris smiled and hugged maya.

there hug was interrupted by luke asking maya to dance, "may i?" luke said, lending his arm for them to link. maya linked there arms and well along to dance with him. "no deja vu?" lily asked chris, "no, im fine" he sat on a chair nearby.

IT WAS NOW around three am, the group (and luke) were standing in-front of the same ice cream shop they went to not to long ago. they found a booth that fit all of them. luke and maya went to order the ice creams for the group. "also three strawberry ice creams" maya asked, the cashier explained that they only had enough for two cups. "that's fine, we can share?" luke  looked at maya for confirmation, she nodded.

maya and luke walked to the booth with everyone's order, "there's a strawberry ice cream missing" chris noticed, sorta of happy. "yeah, the lady said they only had enough for two cups so, me and maya are gonna share" everyone looked at the two. they both say down, maya in between luke and chris. "i could have shared with you like last time" chris whispered in maya's ear.

"he offered, i felt awkward to say no, it's not a big deal" maya whispered back. chris ate his ice cream silently for the rest of the time they were there.
