𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐍 my room in the airbnb chilling out after my shower. i had a white cropped tank top and black sweatpants on while i was on facetime with my best friend, olivia. "yea bu - wait aren't you with that nelson kid thats like so popular on tiktok right now" she said furrowed her eyebrows. "uh yea hes downstairs right now, why?" i said looking confused. "oh no reason just curious" she said softly laughing.

"uh okay well ill call you back later im gonna go find something to eat" i said fixing my hair through the facetime. "okay, tell nelson i said hey!" she said smiling. "uh - yea yea okay bye" i said hanging up.

"that was weird .." i said to myself before placing my phone in my pocket. walking down stairs i can already hear the boy's yelling and playing around.

i was thinking to myself how it was weird olivia was doing that. olivia ofc knee how claire felt about nelson so why was olivia waiting to know about nelson because she has been doing that a lot lately. claire was confused.

i walked over to the kitchen to see if we had some kind of snack. then nelson came over hoping on the counter sitting down. "what ya doinn" he said looking at me. "im uh looking for a snack" i said looking around in the cabinets. " oh - yea my best friend olivia told me to tell you she said hey? ik you don't know her but idk why she told me to tell you that" i said looking back at. "oh well uh - tell her i said hey ig" he said looking confused the focusing back on me.

"are you going to bed soon?" nelson asked me looking at his phone. "uh im not sure yet but ill let you know" i said grabbing a water smiling at him. "hang out down here with me" he said hopping down from the counter taking a sip out of my water making me roll my eyes. "sure" i said grabbing my snack and my water from nelson.

i began to walk over to the dinner table to sit down and eat my snack as nelson followed behind me. "are you excited for your games tomorrow?" i asked him while opening my snack. "oh yea it's nothing to be honest" he said getting on his phone. "you did so good today bro" i said proud of him and he just smiled.

after i finished my snack and my bottle of water i hung out with nelson and little bit before heading off to bed.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 morning i woke up to the sound of my alarm from my phone. i yawned reaching over to stop my alarm laying back down for 5 more minutes until someone busted into my room.

the nelson neumann.

i opened my eyes to see a curly boy in front of my face. "are you seriously not up yet" he said looking at me like i was crazy. "i layed back down for five minutes nelson, now please get out" i said turning over until the covers got yanked off of me. "nope. cam told me to come wake you up so lets go" he said before jumping up and down on my bed. "ughhhh" i said groaning pushing myself up.

"okay if you want me up so bad at least get out so i can get changed" i told him rubbing my eyes. "okay chop chop" he told me clapping his hands exiting my room.

i got up to get my suitcase to pick out an outfit for todays games.

i picked out some jean shorts with a pink crop top tank top with my nike forces. i grabbed my book bag putting it on my back while turning off my lights and shutting the lights off.

walking downstairs i see lance , nelson , nate , jordan , and cam s down in the kitchen. i sit down in one of the chairs at the dinner table getting on my phone. "always on that damn phone" jordan said looking at me. "shut up bro im not in the mood for ur bs today" i said looking back at my phone.

cam came into the kitchen telling us to load up so we could head to the gas station by the gymnasium from game 1 and 2.

as we all got into the car i places my airpods in my ears playing music in my ears as i leaned my head on the window falling asleep.

we were now outside the gas station with daydrian and we started the youtube video. daydrian was bouncing the basketball talking to nelson and cam while i leaned on the ice machine while i listened to them.

"they pushed our game back until 1 o'clock. well one trey said they weren't gonna make the first game, but jahki would've made it but not trey. so i told them if they could push our game back and they did" cam explained the jordan.

"bro when im i gonna see you play" daydrian said pointing at me. "well i played last season this the first season i haven't played but we making a girls rwe team we just looking for recruits right now, so maybe pull up to one" i said shrugging my shoulders. "shi bet bet" he said bouncing the basketball.

"yo nelson get yo fat head ass out the way im trying to show cam on camera, whats up with nelson hes tryna hog all the cameratime. melo get ur fucking your manz" cam said to melo making him roll his eyes. "smh more like claires man" melo said shaking his head. i heard it making my eyes widen looking at the group of boys.

nelson ignored what melo said. "yea melo where'd you get ur shirt" getting all up on melo making him push him. "are yall the same weight" cam asked me , cam , melo. "yea" we all said at once making cam give us a confused look. "yo what the fuck" he said laughing pointing at us.

then melo was posing at the camera then i joined him and he swung his arm around me as we posed. i look at nelson and he just looked at us with his arms crossed.

"yo nelson how many likes on this video man, championship day" cam asked while he bounced the ball. "uhh, it is championship day. i say we can hit like 175k likes" nelson said smiling widely. "gyat" cam said at the amount he picked. "i mean we always hit our like goal so i say we should go 175" i said shrugging.

"we're not mr beast" cam said throwing the ball up and down on his palm. "yea ur not mr beast your fucking cam wilder" nelson said confidently. "thats hard" i said pointing at him with my eyebrows raised.

"175k likes for nelson - i don't know. maybe yall can do it" cam said. "not maybe we can" i said correcting him. "i like this energy" cam said to me and i smiled.

"yea buy semi - finals we're playing against a game called north cross heat. 2 years ago i played in atlanta, uhm imma roll the clip while im talking" cam said to the camera. "oh yea u remember that game" i said and he nodded at me while continuing to talk.

i was leaning on the gas station window when i noticed my phone was vibrating in my back pocket. it was olivia. 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑒 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑤? i asked my self but answered anyway. "hey liv" i said walking away from the loud group of boys. "hey - where are you at?" she asked me cutting herself off. "oh im just at the gas station waiting for our game to come up" i said looking around. "oh so you're with nelson?" she said setting up her phone.

"uhm yea, why?" i said looking down confused. "oh no reason" she said slightly laughing. before i could get the words out my mouth i got interrupted. "who are you talking to?" a voice said. i looked up and it was nelson. "oh just olivia" i said. he walked over leaning his head on mine.

"oh wsp" he said looking at my phone. "oh my god hey nelson" she said excited slightly bushing making me scrunch my face up a little but i ignored it. "yeaa but why'd you call?" i asked her while looking at nelsons phone because he was watching tiktok. "oh just wanted to see what you were up to, i miss you so much" she said brushing out her hair. "oh yea i miss you too - but ill call you later its a bit loud out here" i said referring to the group of boys. "oh okay well bye, Oh bye nelsonn" she said waving and hanging up.

i looked over to see everyone entering the gas station making me get my self up. "hey lets go they're going inside" i said motioning nelson to get up as he followed behind me.

after i went to get my fiji water i came back over to nelson who was talking to daydrian. "she said i was to big" nelson said making me stop in my tracks. "yo what" i said side eyeing him making daydrian laugh. "what you mean" daydrian said. "you know what i mean" nelson said rubbing his hand's making me furrow my eyebrows.

nelson was sitting on one of the chairs for the arcade games they had in the gas station. idk why they had games in a gas station but oh well, i was next to nate who was making a pre game drink while i watched him explain how to make it making me laugh and shake my head. "the fuck you laughing at im serious" he said before drinking it. "thats your teammate scotty" cam said pointing at nate.

"cam you know him?" cam asked. "who" he answered. "him" cam pointed at nate. "nah idk him i dont fuck with 3 ss b" cam said. "oh mk, melo thats ur mans" cam asked melo next and he just shook his head no fast.

"giannis this ur mans" cam asked giannis next. "yup" giannis said patting his chest. "that is ur mans?" cam said. giannis went to dab him but nate swerved his hand going behind his head making me bust out laughing. "ouuu oh nahh" daydrian said making his eyes widen.

"NELSON" i boy said putting his hands on his face then nelson did a gay gesture. "oh nah" i said looking the other way. "no no cut that out the video" nelson said begging cam. "dont" i said laughing. "bro what ur supposed to be on my side" nelson said furrowing his eyebrows. "we leaving that shit in nelson" cam said shrugging making me laugh.

i was back sitting against the refrigerator sipping on my water while scrolling on my phone. i was kinda tired because i didn't get that much sleep since everyone was being loud asf.

i seen something in the corner of my eye, i turned to see nelson slowing walking up to me while paying attention to his phone. "uh cam said its time to go" nelson said taking off on of this headphones.

i got up picking up my bag and putting my lid on my water walking out the gas station with nelson following me.

"bro pick up ur feet" i said turning around laughing because of how loud nelson was dragging his feet. "bro shut up" he said smiling looking at his phone.

we were in the parking lot waiting for cam to let us know what to do because he was on the phone with someone. " hear lets share my airpods" nelson said giving me one.

he started playing music and it was one of my favorite songs. "snooze - sza" i said slowly bobbing my head to the beat.

"i cant looseeee when im with youu how can i snooze and miss the moment, you just to important. nobody, nobody like you do. i cant loseeee" nelsom said singing looking at me making everyone look over and i started laughing singing along.

"alright we good to go so lets head out" cam said as we all started walking to the gymnasium.
