𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐌 were back in houston, but cam was at a creator league basketball game with daydrian so it was just me and marie at the apartment.

i was just getting out the shower and putting on an outfit for the day while music played lightly in the background. i picked out a white cropped tank top with my leggings and placing a royal blue nike hoodie over my crop top.

after i got dressed i was combing through my curls until there was a knock at my door. "hey claire, i have a photoshoot tomorrow and i have to go shopping for a few dresses and i was wondering if you wanted to tag along?" marie asked me with a smile on her face. "of course" i said smiling at her. "okay well im about to leave in a few" she said slowly closing my door.

i finished up combing my hair and then slid my yeezys on and grabbed my phone and then shutting off my light and tv.

i sat on the couch waiting for marie to finally getting ready. i scrolled through instagram and watched tiktok.

"okay im ready" marie said grabbing her purse and keys. "alright" i said getting up and walking to the door. we walked to her car and started driving to the mall, we were singing frank ocean. "i thought that i was dreaming when you said you loved meee" me and marie sang at the same time.

"i love frank ocean so much" marie said. "same i could listen to him forever" i said continuing to sing ivy by frank ocean.

we pulled up to the mall and parked near the entrance. i placed my phone in my hoodie pocket and walked over to marie. "oh by the way you can get anything if you want something" she said smiling. "you sure?" i asked her. "of course" she said.

"should we get something to eat before we start?" marie asked me as we entered the mall where the food court area was at. "sure" i said. we walked over to Chinese food place and ordered food.

after we got food we sat down and started to eat. "soo how was Atlanta?" marie asked me then taking a bite out of her food. "it was fun, im really proud of the boys" i said smiling then sipping on my drink. "were you excited to see nelson" marie said wiggling her eyebrows, then i remembered everything that happened causing my smile to slowly go down. "oh no, what happened" marie said noticing my facial expressions.

i explained everything that had happened between me, nelson and olivia to marie and she told me her opinion on it. "c i think you should talk to nelson, he seems to have a reasonable expectation if he keeps asking you to hear him out, im not picking sides but you should talk to him i know he cares about you" marie said and continuing to eat. "yea you're right, i probably will talk to him once we get home cam said he talked to him before the championship game and that i should hear him out" i said then eating.

"yea cams right, and so are you" i said agreeing. "so you should talk to him" she said smiling. marie always gave me the best advice it didn't matter what the topic was she always had an answer.

after we got finished eating we went to this dress store so marie could pick out a dress for her photoshoot. "mm the pink" marie said holding it up to her body in the mirror. "or the blue" she continued then switched the dresses now holding the blue one up. "marie, blue is definitely your color" i said pointing at the blue as i she held it up. "cam said the same exact thing she said smiling.

we walked around the store and grabbed a few dresses for a backup for the photoshoot. "you have to get that blue one tho forreal marie it actually looked amazing on you" i said to her deciding which dresses she was gonna buy.

she ended up buying the blue one and a pink dress and then a white dress. "do you want to go anywhere?" she said walking out the store with her dresses. "uh yea sure" i said. i went to a couple stores and got a few shirts and new pants then we headed back to the apartment.

after we made it back to the apartment i put all my new clothes up and then sat on my bed leaning on my headboard and sitting crisscrossed. then nelson came to my head and the conversation me and marie had at the mall. i really did miss him and our facetimes when we weren't with each other.

i picked up my phone and clicking on his contact. i sat there hesitantly looking at the screen if i should text him or not, then i started typing.

i think we should talk.

thank god, i think it would be better if
we facetime.
but are you sure you wanna talk to me?

yea i am and yea we should facetime.

he had answered back pretty fast after i next him which surprised me, my phone started to ring meaning nelson was face timing me. "thank you claire for hearing me out" he said before i could say anything. "yea of course, buy i wanna say sorry for the way i acted i kinda overreacted" i said looking down and playing with my fingers. "no claire, im sorry i shouldn't of done it forreal, she was flirting with me and all this but i promise i didn't do anything back at all she added me on insta and asking all these questions" he said explaining. "its fine nelson, i should've even been mad im the first place we aren't even like a thing" i said nervously. "we aren't?" he said with a confused face. "um well i didn't think you liked me" i said looking at my phone.

"bro claire, do you not see my actions, i would flirt with you all the time" he said to me. "and olivia told me you liked me" he continued and i sat there quietly. "oh" i said quietly and not knowing what to do. "we can take things slow for right now tho" he said with a smile. "yea i would like that" i said as a smile creeped up on my face. "so we good?" he said with a big smile. "yea, we're good" i said. he jumped up and started dancing and shit making me laugh. "bro" i said smiling. "okay well im about to take a shower, so ill call you back alright?" he said sitting back down. "okay byee" i said as he hung up.

i layed down and sighed in relief after the facetime, everything was back to normal now. well except when olivia came to my mind. i didn't know how to fix that situation so i wanted to get that off my mind because i didn't wanna stress anymore.

i walked out of my room to go sit on the couch and watch the sunset until i seen marie have her phone on her ring light and seeing she was on live. "come say hey to the live" marie said waving me over. "hey guys" i said waving and smiling. " she actually helped me picked out my dresses for tomorrow so credits to her to" she said smiling at me and i smiled back.

i walked over to the couch and looked out the window looking at the sunset then got on my phone. i scrolled through instagram deciding to post.

i was responding to some comments until i heard the apartment door open. "wassup twin" cam said walking in. "hey cam" i said smiling. he walked over to marie wrapped his arms around her neck and giving her a kiss on the check. "say hey to the live" she said pointing at her phone. "wasspoppin gang" he said to the camera then walking to his room.

i picked up the remote and decided to play all american since i haven't finished the new season and then my phone started to ring so i answered. "yoo" nelson said playing with his wet hair. "hey" i said watching the tv. "what ya doin" he said looking at me. "nothing just watching all american" i said paying attention to the tv. "where cam?" he asked me then cam came out his room as soon as he said that and then plopped on the couch. "right here twin" he said as i turned the phone to cam. "coach cammyy" nelson said excited. "im glad y'all fixed y'all's problems" he said looking at nelson then me. "me too gang" nelson said smiling.

"lock im for LAA" cam said getting up and dragging the a. "you already know cammy" nelson said grinning. "gay ass" i said shaking my head. "bro i wanna see you play soon" nelson said. "oh yea i miss playing" i said looking at cam. "bro i swear i should have a team in the next week i promise" cam said walking into the kitchen seeing what marie was making. "he said that last week" marie said laughing shaking her head, and cam scrunched his face up. "no i didn't" he said. "yea you did" me and nelson said making us laugh.

"okay bro" cam said walking back over to the couch and grabbing the ps5 controller. "yo nelson hop on lemme cook yo shit" cam said referring to 2k. "bro okay you ass at 2k" nelson said jumping up and getting his controller.

nelson and cam played to rounds which lead to cam winning one and nelson winning one. after they were done i went to my room and talked to nelson.

"im bored as fuck" i said turning my led lights to purple. "same bro" he said looking at me while playing with his hair, i smiled at him until i got a notification that i didn't want. "what's wrong" he asked me since he seen my facial expression changed. "olivia texted me" i said swiping her messages away. "you should at least talk to her, i mean if you want to of course. but hear her out and see why she did that" he said. "i guess" i said grabbing my computer. "im thinking about making a youtube channel" i said going onto youtube. "bro you actually should" he said.

i got set my computer to the side and walked over to my vanity and turning it on placing my phone against my vanity. "what are you doing" nelson said watching me. "taking my makeup off and doing my skin care" i said grabbing my makeup wipes and wiping my face. nelson sat there and watched me the whole time. "are you interested" i said laughing while putting cerave on my face. "mhm" he said nodding his head.

after i was done i walked back over to my bed leaning against the headboard. "i miss you" nelson randomly blurted out making me smile. "that was so random" i slightly laughed. "damn you dont miss me" he said furrowing his eyebrows. "no i miss you too" i said making him smile.

nelson jumped up placing his phone on his pillow. "imma go a fit check" he said smoothing out his shirt. "okay im wearing my black long sleeve nike compression shirt with these teal baskets shorts and black nike socks, okay now ur turn" nelson said plopping back on his bed. i placed my phone on my lamp on my nightstand and backing up. "okay so im wearing a royal blue nike sweatshirt with a white cropped tank top" i said lifting up my sweatshirt to show him. "then these black leggings and white nike socks" i said finishing up and lifting my leg to show him my socks. "valid valid" he said but got interrupted.

"nelson, niles told me to come get you" a girl said at his door. "is that natli" i said jumping up. "oh my god Claire!" she said jumping next to nelson taking his phone. "i miss you soo much" i said smiling at her. "bro same i miss you so much you need to come see my asap" she said blowing me a kiss. "okay bro and im gay" nelson said snatching his phone back and getting up to go downstairs. "because you are" natli said following him and he rolled his eyes.

"what do you want niles" nelson said walking into his kitchen. "my live keeps on begging for you" niles said looking at him. nelson placed his phone next to niles standing it up. "hi claire" niles says waving at me. "hi niles" i said waving and smiling. "you need to come and hang out with me soon" niles said smiling. "facts but with me" nelson said. "its okay niles ill hang out with you" i said as niles smiled until nelson pushed him out the way. "yea okay" nelson said then started doing the jersey luv dance. "weirdo" i said laughing at his facial expressions.

after a while me and nelson talked for hours and stayed up late but eventually we both fell asleep.
