𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 in the kitchen by myself eating some fruit we had bought from the store earlier, i was scrolling on my phone on instagram peacefully until i heard a loud squeaky scream, definitely was nelson.

so i put the lid back on the fruit and placed it back in the fridge and began walking up to nelsons room to see what hes doing.

i began to reach for the doorknob then quickly stopped when i heard a familiar voice. "oh my god nelson be careful" the voice said i furrowed my eyebrows and walked in the room to see nelson laying with his back on the headboard and his legs crossed and i looked to his phone to see a blonde with a priceless look on her face.

i scoffed and had my tongue on the side of my gums and nodded my head before slightly slamming his door and and speed walking to my room.

i had ran into cam but quickly walked away because cam always knew when something was up with me. "claire?" cam said with his eyebrows furrowed and looked back confused. i quickly made it into my room and locked the door.

i dont know why im so mad about it maybe it's the fact thats its my best friend and my crush? maybe im overreacting and they're just friends. but why has olivia been asking about nelson all the time. i would normally brush things off when something happened like this i don't know what's happening.

my phone went out multiple times at once making me furrowed my eyebrows.

i just sat there and and stared at the text messages swallowing the lump in my throat. why did he ask if i liked him? did olivia tell him. i was so focused on my phone that the knock on my door made me jump a little. "hey claire its me" cam said i got up and unlocked the door and walked back to my bed. "you good?" he asked me sitting next to me. "yea i am just tired" i said laughing a little so he wouldn't worry. "then why did you storm down the hall like that?" he asked me with a serious look. "oh that was nothing" i said picking up my phone.

"claire you know im not stupid just tell me what happened - you know what act like im marie you always tell marie you're problems" he said smiling and made me laugh. "okay fine, so you know my friend olivia?" i asked him. "yea that blonde girl you grew up with, what about her" he said confused. "uhm so she has been asking about nelson like all the time and i told nelson about it, and you know how she knows that i like nelson?" i asked him and he nodded his head slowly. "well i went to see what nelson was doing and he was on the phone with her and i heard her be like flirting and shit bro" i said shaking my head.

"you know what nelson doesn't even have to play tomorrow for championship" he said. "no no no its fine i dont wanna ruin anything its just fucked up if they have anything going you know because she knows i like him" i said and he agreed. "well im bored wanna go get some food" he asked me and getting up. "of course" i said smiling. "okay ill be in the car" he said walking out my room.

i quickly slid on my yeezy and grabbed my phone and ran downstairs and i walked to the door about to close it until my name got called. "claire!" nelson ran after me but i quickly closed the door and hoped in the car and connected to bluetooth.

𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐌 screamed the lyrics to rodwave as we pulled up to chick - fa - la. "LOOK UP TO GOD, PUT MY HEAD IN THE SKY LOSSES AFTER LOSSES I JUST WONDER WHYY" me and cam screamed but he quickly turned the music down making me kiss my teeth. "what do you want?" he asked me looking back at me. "just some mac and cheese and fries" i said but then looked at all the messages at my phone from olivia and nelson.

cam ordered our food and payed for it and we kept blasting music. i liked moments like this we didn't have many like it but i loved hanging out with my brother because hes most of the time he's busy with stuff but he always sticks some time to hang out with me and i really appreciate it.

my phone kept on going off and making the music turned down to a put my phone on do not disturb and kept on singing. "your not gonna answer them?" he said looking at me then back at the road. "not right now im in a good mood" i said making him laugh and continue driving and singing.

we pulled back up to the airbnb, i got out and i grab my food and walked in the house. i set cams food on the kitchen table and walked back upstairs.

nelson was in the living room on his phone, we made eye contact but i quickly broke it and walked to my room.

while i was eating i got bored and i decided to call someone, i facetimed romelo to see what he was up to since we haven't facetimed in a good while.

it rang about 2 times and he answered. "whats up c" he said placing his phone back on his lap and looking up at the tv. "nun much just eating" i said eating some of my fries. "bru and you aint get me nun?" he said and scrunched up his face. "you'll be fine" i said laughing. "are you excited for tomorrows game?" i asked him while i looked at him through my screen.

"yea im ready we winning no doubt" he said confidently. "thats good but yea we winning" i said continuing to eat.

we talked for a while and we were catching up and stuff. i walked down stairs with my phone in my hand talking to melo. "what are you doing" he asked me. "im just getting a water" i said looking through the fridge. "hey claire" someone said behind me.

i turn around and its nelson and i looked back at my phone. "whos that?" melo asked. "oh just someone" i said then grabbed a water.

i started to walk back up stairs and nelson started walked towards me and i just bumped my shoulder into his and walked back to my room. "bro claire" he said throwing his hands up and hitting his side.

i ignored him and walked up to my room and drank my water. "damn why you do him like that" melo said. "long story" i answered back and quickly changed the subject.

eventually i fell asleep on the phone with melo and slept peacefully.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 i woke up and seen i was still on the phone with melo. "good morning c" melo said in a tired voice. "morning melo" i said stretching. "you sleep good?" he asked me. "yea i did, you?" i asked getting up from the bed. "yea i did" he said looking at the camera. "uhm well ill see you today i gotta get dressed" i said going through my suitcase. "alright ill see you c, bye" he said hanging up.

i placed my phone next to me as i sat crisscrossed on the floor going through my suitcase. i picked out my black hoodie that says "pink!" on it with my ripped jean shorts and my onyx yeezy slides.

i grabbed my bag and my phone and walked out the door and walked down stairs, i went to grab some fruit for breakfast before we leave.

i sat down scrolling on my phone until i hear footsteps approaching me, i turn around to see nelson and sure enough i look down at his clothes and he has the same hoodie as me on. i roll my eyes and continue eating.

"claire can we please talk?" nelson asked me. "mm maybe later" i said getting up to find cam and nelson just dropped his head as i walked away.

i found cam in his room packing his bookbag with stuff he needed. "uh are we about to leave" i asked. "yea, but claire talk to nelson i talked to him about everything and please talk him" he said putting his bookbag on. "maybe" i said quickly avoiding the conversation and walking out to the car.

i sat by the window and pulled out my airpods and played sza, the door got opened to reveal nelson as he sat next to me in the middle seat and cam came and sat in the front.

my music got turned down as siri read my message that got sent to me. "nelson 🫶🏼 : i'm sorry" my siri off my phone said through my airpods.

ignored it and turned my music back up and closed my eyes leaning my head on the window.

𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 this gymnastics academy place. "yo this place looks fun" i said looking at all the foam pits and stuff. i placed my bag down on these chairs as cam started the youtube video. "four feet, four feets crazy. back to back to back is crazy" cam said talking to one of the boys.

i seen romelo walk in and i run up to him and gave him a hug. "hey mel" i said smiling. "wassup c" he said laughing at me. he swung his arm me as we walked to the group and nelson looked at us confused.

me and melo walked up to cam as he was still talking to the camera. "anyway, championship game yall championship muda fucking game" cam said as melo was posing for the camera making me laughing. "uhm its fimna get active yo, you ready to win a champ" cam asked romelo looking at him. "lets get it, let's get it, lets win a chip. and in my hometown to" romelo said excited. "this your hometown?" i asked him. "hell yea" he said doing crazy poses making me laugh.

"you ready to win a chip nate?" cam asked nate on the other side of him. "yeaa this my second chip" he said holding up fours. "i feel like win like i feel a win coming, yo lil nelson bring yo ass" cam said making my smile drop and putting my lip in a thin line.

nelson came over with daydrian. "nelson, how many likes on this video twin" he asked nelson. "ouuu 200k likes" he said rubbing his hands then fluffing his hair. "god damn" cam said to nelson. "yo he crazy" daydrian said laughing. "200k likes, we going up every video" nelson said clapping his hands. "type shi type shi" melo said dabbing him up.

i walked away and i started jumping on a trampoline and cam pointed the camera at me. "look at her goofy ass bro" he said pointing at me, daydrian came running over and pounced on it hard making my legs lose balance and i fell. "dayummm" nelson said laughing. "you have no right to be laughing" i said seriously and walked over to my bag and got on my phone.

nelson followed me over to the seats and say next to me. "can we talk?" he asked me. "uhm maybe later" i said getting up. "bro please" he begged, i nearly gave in but i didn't. "like i said maybe later" i said walking to romelo, nate , daydrian and cam.

"200k likes we'll bring back lavar, nelson and we maybeee being giannis to LA we'll see" cam said as romelo was doing the roblox wave and i joined him as i laughed while doing it.
