Kim Dokja's muscle grew as he exchanged blows with the red kijin. Black flames erupted from the kijin's sword, creating a formidable impact around them.

Smoke rose up as it revealed the ground which had turned into a burnt crisp; web-like cracks formed and boulders molded like magma.

If it not had been for the [Sentiments of the Beast King], he would've been burned because of his initial reflexes.

"I knew otherworldly creatures were strong... But this guy is too much," Kim Dokja frowned.

Even with the [Hour of Judgement], he still couldn't land a hit nor get even close to the scorching kijin. If he did, he would've turned to ashes in a second, which was fearsome.

Kim Dokja had to save time, but he's being cornered with each passing second. Suddenly, the kijin moved at him with intense speed, thrusting his sword forward with [Black Flames].

But just in time, Jung Heewon appeared in front of Kim Dokja and parried the incoming attack with her [Flames of Hell].

Two distinct flames clashed against each other, and the red kijin couldn't help but move away. He must've realized the danger Heewon possessed.

"They're insanely strong.." Heewon commented with a huff. Her breathing labored and she looked exhausted.

Kim Dokja caught a glimpse of the purple kijin at the corner of his eye. Her arms were burning, but she tore them off and regenerated quickly.

Disbelief filled their faces at the scene. Shion and Benimaru stood beside each other with dead eyes, still ready to fight.

Kim Dokja was greatly troubled, his eyebrows knitting furiously.

"How are we suppose to stop these guys?.."

[The constellation 'Demon-Like Judge of Fire' is biting her nails.]

"I hate to say this, but I'm really hoping the constellations would do something about this..." Heewon admitted.

Speaking of constellations, their reaction to the sudden turn of events were varied.

[The constellations of the absolute good alignment is demanding a change in the scenario!]

Some sought for justice, afraid these otherworldly creatures would kill their incarnations.

[Some constellations are getting angry at the sudden rise of difficulty.]

A few are threatened at the presence of the otherworldly disasters.

[Some constellations are getting hyped.]

While others were looking forward for more chaos.

[The constellation 'Tyrant of Destruction' is showing hostility towards the dokkaebi 'Paul'.]

And some were infuriated.

Kim Dokja swallowed his fear, knowing they wouldn't let this slide. Just a few more minutes... The bureau would do something about the scenario difficulty, if not, then Rimuru will snap out of what he is going through.

But it's harder for them. Kim Dokja has a time limit using his skills, and so was Jung Heewon.

"Rimuru... Please."

Kim Dokja whispered.

"Your companions are dying here."

At the shore, Lee Jihye aimed at Geld's unprotected skin, her sword stabbing the thick and sturdy flesh of the orc.

"Yes! Take thโ€”

But before she could rejoice, Lee Hyunsung pushed her away and brought his shield forward.

The rotting creatures from Geld was blocked by Hyunsung, but one of them slipped through his defenses and bit his arm.

He grunted in pain, the rot spreading quickly in just a second as it inflicted his skin.

"N-No!!"

Geld swattex Hyunsung away with his fist and the man crashed on the ground loudly. Lee Jihye didn't waste time and used [Ghost Walk] and appeared behind Geld, but the creatures appeared again and almost bit her if not for her reflexes.

Unfortunately, Geld grasped her foot and pulled her, throwing her next to Hyunsung in a loud thud.

The Orc Lord intimidatingly ordered his Orc warriors to sorround the two, ensuring no escape for them both.

Lee Hyunsung grunted in pain, the rot on his arm were continuously spreading. At this rate, Lee Jihye might be the only one who can fight.

"I-Im sorry.. Ugh!"

Hyunsung gripped his arm, while Lee Jihye eyed the army of orcs and the Orc Lord.

"I'm not done yet."

At the river, the kids did their best. Their powers were impressive for their age, but it weighed them heavily.

Shin Yoosung's nose bleed non stop, the same goes for Gilyoung as the boy appeared more pitiful holding his own head.

"DIEE!!" Gilyoung screamed as the insects under his command attacked the wolves and goblins beneath him.

Titano were fighting the flying wolves while Antinus possessed one and attacked the others.

Shin Yoosung on the other hand was starting to feel heavy. King Masswood and Queen Mirabad repulsed icy breath from their large mouths, their subjects attacking along with them.

Some of the ichthyosaurs jumped from the river to chomp down the dragonewts, while the King and Queen attacked Gabiru as best as they could.

The Vortex Warrior was rather agile and annoying. As Shin Yoosung did her best, Gabiru's [Vortex Crash] hit Queen Mirabad, decapitating her from her long body.

Yoosung quickly acted and jumped on King Masswood's head, but before she could, Gabiru grabbed her from the back.

"NO!!" Shin Yoosung was terrified, her body trashed out as Gabiru brought her higher.

"Yoosung!!" Gilyoung screamed in terror, then Titanus head exploded, throwing him off balance.

At the other side of the island, Yoo Junghyuk limped backwards.

He held his side, blood dripping everywhere in his body. His face battered, red and purple mixing with his features.

The whole area was cut down due to their swords. The only thing left for them to cut was each other.

"I'll end this right now," he declared.

"Die."

[The constellation 'Lord of Catastrophic Storms' is shouting at you to move.]

What?

"Rimuru!!"

Yoo Sangah's voice echoed as she used her [Arache Web] to grab Rimuru out of the way, barely avoiding the thrown daggers at him.

"Just die!" Yoo Sangah fought with desperation. She brought her dagger forward and threw another one, then maneuvered it to kill the body doubles.

Souie slipped past through her defenses and slitted her arm, causing her to flinch and jump in a distance. She shifted her dagger and stabbed Souie at the neck, but it was just a body double.

"I dโ€”

A thread wrapped around her limbs like a vice, painful to the point of shredding her skin and making it bleed. She grunted loudly, she tried to cut off the threads but her other arm was also restrained.

As she tried to escape from Souie's grasp, her eyes widened when she saw that she wasn't the target.

Souie and his 4 clones were walking towards Rimuru, their daggers coated with deadly toxins.

"N-No! RIMURU!!"

As she tried to trash out, multiple threads coiled around her neck, andโ€”

SPLAT!

.

"I'm sorry, Sangah."

'I'm really sorry,' He thought.

"For letting you get hurt. And lying to you about that time," Rimuru's voice was solemn. His eyes scanning her injured body.

'Are you really human or not?'

He could remember the question she asked back then. And now, It remaned in his thoughts.

"The truth is... I'm really not that human."

Even though I've been one.

I'm a human with a monster heart, and I was a monster with a human heart.

But it's hard for me, you know?

I tried to deny the truth many times, but denial always comes with consequences for not accepting the reality that fate had prepared for me.

I've known for a long time... No, I've already reached the conclusion of them dead.

I've known.

I knew.

This damn scenario brought back the things I've lost... And if I don't accept it as it is, I'll lose something precious again.

Kim Dokja.. My companions.

I will lose them.

But I can't.

I won't let that happen.

Not again.

"In this world, everyone is a monster living in the form of humans."

I pulled the Anti-Demon Mask, and wore them. Now, they won't see my face.

They won't see the tears I'm about to shed because of the things I have to do.

"I'm sorry."

They won't see the expression I have in my face as I said those words to Souie.

[The stigma 'Gluttony Lvl.4' has been activated!]

And they won't see my face when I say it to the others as well..
