In the other side of the battle field, the Disaster of Floods knelt down in defeat. Her current state was heavily injured and she wasn't controlled anymore.

"I'm glad I came in this round," she spoke solemnly. Her voice weary and it felt like she was talking with dry throat.

Jung Heewon stood behind her as the two men stood in front. They listened to the disaster, heeding her final words before she will disappear.

"It's kinda messy here, isn't it?" Kim Dokja smiled bitterly as the sun finally rises. But the radiance automatically disappeared, and a heavy current of wind started to flow around them.

Yoo Junghyuk, Jung Heewon, and the others couldn't ignore it. Their eyes darted around before frowning above.

"It is kind of messy," the disaster spoke and chuckled. "I wish I could help you out... But I'm..."

She stared at her own palm. It was cracked, not the usual one in human skin, but rather, it was a crack that looked like from a breakable vaseโ€”she was breaking to pieces.

"I want to ask you something," Yoo Junghyuk limped toward her, his hand placed on his rib.

"Who is the demon who helped you cross between worlds?"

Kim Dokja could read his thoughts. Not only his, but also the disasters'. He knew that the Junghyuk she knew wasn't this one, yet they already understood each other without voicing out words.

Shin Yoosung, the disaster, smiled.

'You haven't changed at all.'

"Have you heard of The Demon of the Horizon?"

"I know the name," Junghyuk answered.

"You'll meet him if you're unlucky," she added, "But don't try to fight it. You will never win no matter how hard you try."

As her words registered into Junghyuk's mind, his decision was made. Kim Dokja could hear it.

'Revenge.'

The wind started to howl, filling the gap of silence between them. As much as they wanted to talk more for the last time, the situation has more unfinished business for them.

The disaster looked at the cyclone above.

"Protect this round from that monster."

Kim Dokja nodded.

"We will."

Her body started to crumble to ashes, and she slowly disappeared. After a thousand years of waiting, her suffering has finally ended.

'Goodbye, Captain.'

Yoo Sangah, Lee Hyunsung, and the other incarnations could only stare at the cyclone in terrified wonder. The omen it emitted had turned the whole peninsula from chaos to silence.

"W-What is that?.." Jihye pointed.

[The constellations are shaking in fear!]

Even the mighty being known as constellations felt it.

This is otherworldly chaos.

[The constellations are demanding assistance from the Bureau!]

"Hyunsung!" Jung Heewon ran towards them as the two men followed.

Kim Dokja's worry relieved a little after seeing the kids were fine, but his worry got bigger when he couldn't find Rimuru.

"Rimuru hasn't come back yet?"

The question caught Yoo Junghyuk's attention, but he couldn't take his eyes off the cyclone. His knuckles whitened as he gripped the handle of his sword.

"Have you foreseen this?"

Junghyuk threw a question at Kim Dokja. His voice aggitated and cautious. The other man couldn't help but look away.

"I... haven't seen such thing. This wasn't supposed to happen."

His anxiety rose as he thought about it constantly. The small changes in the story greatly affected the scenarios and unusual events started to happen.

As the sole reader, he couldn't help but try to look for some answers. Did he miss a word? A sentence? A paragraph talking about a cyclone? This kind of cyclone?

What's happening?

He couldn't comprehend it.

He couldn't understand.

"Is that a... Wolf?... W-Wait.. There's more of them!"

His thoughts snapped back to reality and he quickly shifted his attention above.

The sky was spiraling with clouds, and at the center of it, monsters began to appear.

Wolves and dragonewts were flying down, while armored goblins and orcs were falling.

"What the heavens.." Jung Heewon muttered.

"Dokja-ssi! The kids!" Yoo Sangah urged.

But Yoo Junghyuk didn't let her continue.

"It's pointless," he spoke as he eyed Lee Gilyoung and Shin Yoosung.

"They need to fight."

"But that's!โ€”"

"You don't have to say it," Lee Gilyoung summoned his Titano and Antinus.

"We will fight," Shin Yoosung followed, summoning Queen Mirabad and King Masswood.

Yoo Sangah's worries were shut down, and she couldn't help but get stressed over it. Thankfully, Jung Heewon and Lee Hyunsung helped her overcome it.

Kim Dokja was the same. And he hid his worries and masked it with determination and composed himself.

"We have no other choice but to fight for our lives."

His words didn't blow the hope they had kept.

"And so, we will fight and end this scenario."

He looked at Yoo Junghyuk, Jung Heewon, Lee Hyunsung, Yoo Sangah, Lee Jihye, Lee Gilyoung, and Shin Yoosung.

"Let's kill the Disaster of Storms."

Rimuru stopped thinking.

His thoughts was a cogwheel, but it felt like it didn't want to work.

He was utterly speechless.

{Danger!}

He couldn't move an inch from his body or lift a finger.

{Alert!}

He couldn't believe what he was seeing either, and he couldn't take a breath as if someone was choking him to death.

{Incoming attack! Activating precautionary measures!}

Great Sage turned over and controlled his body, quickly evading the deadly Hercules' Deluxe, katana, and a dagger.

Rimuru snapped back to reality and fell on his knees after barely dodging the attack. His chest felt tight, and he was having a hard time to breath.

"W-What the hell!"

He cursed, his eyes blurring in tears as he stared at the familiar people with purple, red, and dark blue hair.

Rimuru's heart was crushed to pieces. Seeing their eyes, once looking at him hopefully, now dead, no hope, with no life. And it felt like he was robbed of something that belonged to his body. Something that belonged to his soul.

His people. His friends. His comrades.

"Y-You guys too?..."

His voice cracked as he hopelessly stared at them.

"Why?.. Why? Why? Why?! WHY?! WHY?!!!"

Rimuru couldn't take it all at once. The realisation was hitting him like a wall.

He was killed by Hinata Sakaguchi... And got reincarnated again with no knowledge of what happened to Tempest after that.

But the dream.. He thought it was just a nightmare. Something created by his mind due to overthinking and longing for his country. But seeing their eyes.. The cold body.. The ones who radiated with life.. Now reeked with the stench of death, standing before him.

He just couldn't accept it.

He refused to accept it.

"T-THIS MUST BE A DREAM.."

Rimuru could only look at them hopelessly as Shion, Benimaru, and Souie, attacked him all at once.

"This has to be a dream."
