heeseung stifled a laugh before placing his phone on top of his arm chair. he didn't know jay could be this fun to tease.

he already finished eating breakfast with jake earlier, and jake was the one who wanted to buy food for his best friend. he even picked his favorite food, since heeseung doesn't know much about jay.

they've only been friends because he's sunoo's roommate, and honestly they don't talk with each other a lot.

he only talks to me when he needs something from me. heeseung knew that at least.

from the first time that jay asked him to go eat lunch together with jake, heeseung already knew what he was trying to pull.

jake likes him. it's painfully obvious. and jay trying all sorts of things just for him to get closer with jake is making it more obvious.

but it's not like i mind, i kind of like hanging out with jake too.

he clicks his pen while still thinking. i don't know if i already like him, but we'll see where this set-up will lead us.

"hee!" jeongin tries to catch his attention. he's sitting three chairs behind him.

"what?"

"i forgot to tell you, but your mother called last night. you were sleeping so i picked up your phone instead."

heeseung felt his breath hitched. "what did she say?"

"she was asking me if you're coming home this semester break." jeongin moved to sit on the chair beside him. "she said she wants to see you."

what a load of bullshit. "okay, thanks for letting me know."

"no worries dude. your mom must love you that much, she misses you already."

heeseung didn't say a thing and just stared at the white board in front of him.

"what about this one?" jungwon takes another shirt from the rack, shoving it to jake's face. "oh this one's got a nice color too!"

"jungwon, you told me you were just gonna buy some book—"

"yeah, and i already bought one a while ago." the younger pushed him towards the fitting room. "come on hyung, i'm bored and we got a lot of time to spare."

hiyyih comes out of the other section, holding two sweaters. "which do you think is better?"

"sweetheart, both are ugly. pick another one." hiyyih rolled her eyes at jungwon's comment, but proceeds to return the clothes.

jake sighed, giving up. fine, i'll just buy something. i need new clothes anyway. he tries all the outfits that jungwon gave to him earlier— and in all fairness, the clothes look great on him.

after another round of fitting, jake chose to buy two shirts and one jacket.

"see? i told you i have taste." jungwon grins at him. "you can wear that when you go on dates with heeseung." he giggles.

jake blushed at the statement, stopping himself from imagining certain scenarios. gods, i hate being delusional.

the three finally got out of the shop and decided to eat something. jungwon stops walking when he sees a familiar figure walking near the entrance of the mall.

"sunoo hyung!" jungwon waves his hand, smiling brightly.

jake turns to look at sunoo who is smiling back at them, his cheeks turning into a light shade of pink. i have not seen a guy prettier than him. no wonder my cousin went crazy in love.

"hello there! wow, you guys went shopping?" sunoo glanced at their shopping bags. he ruffled jungwon's hair before looking at him. "hi jake! it's good to see you again. you have no practice today?"

he smiled back at him. "no, we only had one practice in the morning."

"yeah, jay told me about it. i'm sure it's hard, especially since the heat's being a bitch these days." sunoo clapped his hands together, as if he remembered something.

"speaking of which, do you guys have plans this sem break?"

hiyyih shakes her head. "i'm free anytime."

"same goes with me." jungwon agrees. "why hyung?"

sunoo smiles again, this time he looks like a child too excited. "wanna come to jeju with us?"
