Fact Ninety-Six: As a teenager, Kurt would often hang out near the Wishka River, and watch the fish. That's where this line, โž”

"It's okay to eat fish..'cause they don't have any feelings."

had come from.

(This is a memorial at the Wishka River for Kurt)

Fact Ninety-Seven: People had believed Kurt had actually lived under a bridge when he was homeless, this was later debunked and just a myth. Kurt never actually lived under a bridge or was homeless.

Fact Ninety-Eight: The title Something In The Way, relates to how Kurt felt about about himself. He was constantly thinking he was in the way of everybody else.

Fact Ninety-Nine: When recording this song, Kurt was so quiet and had actually whispered the lyrics. The vocals were so quiet that producer, Butch Vig, had to turn the volume on his controls all the way up.

(Kurt singing Something In The Way on the MTV live show Nirvana did)

Fact One Hundred: The lyrics Something In The Way, were spray-painted onto the bridge near the Wishka River.

(The lyrics were later removed during a clean up)

Fact One Hundred-One: This song peaked at number two on Billboard's U.S. Rock Digital Songs Sales chart.

Wow, guys...where'd all the time go? It took me so much longer to write this little book than it's going to take to read it. During the writing process of this book, my motivation was either on or off. When I started writing this book, I hardly knew anything about Nirvana or my literal husband, Kurt Cobain. Thank you so much for reading this book, there will be an epilogue after this.
