IT WAS CURRENTLY THE THIRD SET. which meant it was their last set. stella's team is currently in the lead with a score of 25-21.

she was doing amazing. there was only a couple minutes left until third set was over so, nylah setted the ball to stella which than stella spiked it causing their team to once again receive another point.

the girls all ran up to stella giving her hugs and, high-fives. the huskies came on too with a win for their first game of the season the girls were ecstatic! stella ran to her family earning hugs from her parents as well as the neumann's parents.

"you did amazing stella" said cassie

"thank you so much!" stella replied back

stella's brothers walked over to her giving her hugs.

"you did great stella" said eli

"yeah, you've gotten so much better" said isaac

"thanks guys" stella replied back

"the last thing you did when you hit the ball down was sick!" nile's said

stella giggled at the younger boy as he described a spike

"it's called a spike, dumbass" noah replied to the boy "but, that was sick" the older boy said
stella smiled back in response to all the compliments she received

"okay guys let's go out to dinner" jeremy stella's dad said

all the kids smiled in excitement when they heard those words due to them all starving. as they walked out the gym nelson was walking next to stella

"you played good today" the boy said. stella smiled back at the boy replying with a thank you.

THEY ALL GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL TO CHANGE. usually stella didn't really care what she wore to dinner but she really wanted to impress nelson so, she wanted to look her best for him. she looked through her suitcase attempting to find the perfect outfit. aha! she found a flowy navy blue skirt with a navy blue top as well. she pit on her outfit pairing it with accessories and, shoes.

stella was satisfied with the way her outfit looked but now it was the difficult part what should she do with her hair? she didn't want to leave it plain and boring so she decided to do two little bubble braids with leaving the rest of hair out curled.

"stella were leaving" her father said. perfect timing she thought to herself

"coming" she yelled back making her way to the door

"who are you trying to impress" eli asked

"nobody" she responded back

"mhm, she probably trying to impress nelson" isaac said teasing her

"what's going on with you and nelson?" her mom asked

"nothing mom," stella said

"lies stella likes nelson" eli said

"yup, she just doesn't want to admit it" isaac said with a grin on his face

"okay guys cmon leave stella alone" her father said

"finally, thank you" stella sighed in relief earning chuckles from the rest of her family.

NELSONS POV:
we're going out for dinner with stella's family. i need to look my best for her so i asked noah to help me find an outfit. he knew a lot about style.

"noah" nelson screamed

"what bro" noah replied back to his younger brother

"can you help me pick an outfit for dinner" the boy asked

"why can't you pick it yourself" noah asked

"because-" before nelson could even say anything niles invited himself into the conversation
"he wants to impress stellllaaaa" the youngest brother said dragging out the girls name

"shut up niles go away" nelson said embarrassed

"ooohh so this is about stella" the older brother said with a smirk on his face

"can you guys just be quiet and help me pick an outfit" nelson said trying to change the subject
"fine" noah replied back

noah and nelson spent thirty minutes trying to figure out what nelson wanted to wear to impress stella. nelson kept disagreeing to every option but, finally he agreed on wearing a polo zip up, with a shirt underneath, black jeans and grey dunks

CASSIE CALLED OVER THE BOYS.
"its time to go guys, their waiting for us" cassie said

the boys all walked over to their parents.

"woah look at you nelson, impressing stella aren't you" she said giving her son a wink
nelson just looked away in embarrassment earning laughs from the rest of his family

BOTH FAMILIES ARRIVED AT THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT. everyone got seated stella was in between nelson and niles. noah and niles begin talking to isaac and eli which leaves stella and nelson alone to talk. they were quiet for a bit so nelson decided to finally break the silence.

"so, is volleyball the only sport you play" he asked

"nope, i do basketball as well! how bout you do you only do basketball" she asked

"i mean i do football for fun but i'd say im more passionate about basketball. i never knew you did basketball are you any good" he asked the girl

"am i any good? obviously i am i could probably beat you in a 1v1" the girl responded back to the boy

"cocky much" nelson said earning a laugh from stella "ma, you could never beat me in a 1v1 you probably couldn't even guard me"

stella got butterflies from the new nickname the curly headed boy came up for her
"i definitely could guard you" she responded back pretending not to hear the new nickname
"oh yeah when we get back to houston you and me are gonna have a 1v1" nelson said back

"okay be prepared to lose" stella said to the blonde haired boy

nelson laughed at the comment the blue eyed girl made.

"what are you gonna order" stella asked the boy as she was looking at the menu

"probably spaghetti with garlic bread how about you" he asked the girl

"maybe alfredo with garlic bread" the girl responded back

the two decided on their meals which than a couple minutes later the waiter brought out for them. stella began talking to niles a bit since he was right next to her. as stella was talking to niles nelson was admiring all the girls features especially her lips. they were so perfect and pink he thought to himself.

"why are you staring at me like that nelson" stella asked the boy

"nothing you just have pretty lips that's all" he responded back boldly

stella wanted to be bold back so she responded back by saying "oh yeah, well quit admiring them cause you won't be feeling my lips anytime soon"

nelson laughed at her comment "okay stels, we'll see about that" the boy responded back knowing her statement wasn't true whatsoever.

the two teenagers began talking for the rest of the dinner. once the dinner was over they exchanged each others social media's.

"wait stella can i get your socials so we can text" the boy asked hesitantly

"yeah, ill just give you my number as well" the girl responded back with a smile on her face.
they exchanged social media's but, now it was time for them to exchange numbers nelson typed his number into stella's phone naming himself "husband😍"

"okay nelson" the girl responded back laughing at the name "if you named yourself that i guess i gotta be your wife" stella said

"i guess so" nelson said with a smirk on his face

stella took nelson's phone changing her contact name to "wifey😘" nelson laughed at the emoji she put next to her name. the two were falling for each other.
