ELI'S P.O.V

We got into the taxi while y/n was almost asleep. Halfway through the ride, she unlocked her phone before handing it to me.

"Can you please text my uncle and tell him I'm staying at one of my girlfriend's house and that I'll be back tomorrow." She said weakly slipping further into her seat. I nodded before texting him exactly that.

"I can't let him see me like this Eli. I-I can't be alone tonight..." She started to sniffle again.

"It's ok y/n" I sighed. "You can spend the night at my house, my parents won't be home anyway" I reassured her while rubbing her arm.

I helped y/n walk while we got into the house slowly. She said nothing.

I brought her to my bed and she fell asleep almost instantly even though she still had makeup running down her face, uncomfortable-looking heals and a tight dress that was barely attached to her body now.

I felt pity for her while looking at her sleeping, she was so vulnerable: I had to stop thinking about what could've happened if I wasn't there with her tonight. My heart shattered at the thought. My mind couldn't understand how could someone would want to hurt such a precious soul.

I started by sliding off her high heals and fetching a wipe to remove her makeup. I glided the wipe as gently as possible across her face making sure to get everything off.

After, I went to the bathroom to
clean myself and got rid of the mohawk before bed. I was hurrying myself to go back with y/n but she appeared at the door looking drunk as hell.

"Eli? Can you please t-take off my dress? pleaseeee" she turned around and brought her hair in the front. I held my breath. This isn't how I thought this situation would've happen if I'm being honest. She felt my unsureness. I couldn't help but think how she would've acted if she were sober...

"Please Eli, I can't take it off and it's really uncomfortable" She begged. I gave in and started to unzip her dress, the strap fell over her shoulders and I could now see her bra. It felt wrong, I felt guilty.

Before I could see any further, she thankfully grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself and I finally exhaled the breath I was holding.

"Thanks my little dove" she kissed my cheek and I blushed before she walked back to my room. I followed her and passed her a hoodie and some sweatpants for her to change into.

"Awww Eli I love this hoodie!" She hugged it while smiling : it was the same one I gave her on the beach the day we met. I softly smiled back. She's funny when she's drunk, I'll admit that.

While she was changing herself, I laid blankets and pillows of the floor for me to sleep on. I gave her some water and forced her to drink it when she arrived back.

She later laid on the bed and made herself comfortable without saying a word.

I closed the lights and headed towards my bed for the night. I was relieved that she was safe and secured. I promised myself that I wouldn't let anything hurt her ever again.

The silence didn't last long.

"Eli?" She asked in the softest voice.

"Yes y/n?" I sat up to look at her.

"Would you mind climbing in the bed with me ? I don't want to be alone."

Without hesitation, I got under the covers but made sure to respect her space and stayed on my side.

"Thank you Eli, for everything" she whispered as she came closer to me, our bodies touching.

She puts her head on my chest along with one of her hand and my hearts started beating faster.

it wasn't long until we both fell asleep.

Y/N P.O.V

I woke up with a slight stomachache and a pounding to the head.

i slowly opened my eyes before a soft vanilla smell tickled my nose: Eli.

I soon realized just how close we were to each other. There wasn't a part of my body that wasn't met with his, and I'll admit I liked it.

We were face to face, his arms were around me and i felt safe, I could've stayed like this for hours.

Eli was still sleeping, he looked so peaceful and adorable : his mohawk was down and some of his hair had fallen delicately on his face, his mouth had fell slightly agape and his lips were covered by the softest pink. He was by no doubt, the most prettiest boy I've ever laid my eyes on.

After a while i could feel him waking up, but his eyes were still closed. One of his hand started softy caressing my thigh while he pulled me closer, if that was even possible.

"Good morning princess" He cooed with his raspy morning voice opening his eyes lazily.

"Good morning Eli" I gently kissed his cheek which made him smile. we were being lazy this morning and stayed in bed a little longer.

"Thanks for yesterday..." i signed."Surely, I don't remember all of it... but I remember enough"

"y/n you don't have to thank me for that" He sounded a bit mad but sad at the same time.

"I'll always be here okay? " he said calming down before i nodded. I'm so grateful for him.

We got out of bed, Eli gave me some Advil's and went in the kitchen to make us breakfast while I hopped in the shower.

ELI'S POV

y/n went in the shower and i laid her new clothes in my room before going to the kitchen.

As I was taking things out of the fridge, I heard  knock at the door.

Miguel and Demetri. Shit.

"Hey guys." I said letting them in. All I could think about was that y/n was in my shower as we spoked and that she could come out anytime now.

And like usual, I knew i would've had to explain myself. Both boys took a seat at the counter.

"Where were you last night?" Miguel questioned.

"We checked for you all over the place before we left but you weren't there." Demetri added.

"Yeah about that..."

Of course y/n came out the shower exactly at that  moment. She froze in the hallway with only a towel over her. Both boys looked at her and then at me confused as hell before y/n went back in my room.

"She wasn't feeling so good and there was no one to take her home" I sighed.

"And, she didn't want to get in trouble with her uncle, so she slept here" I added before any of them could say a word.

"Did anything happen between the both of you?" Demetri wiggled his eyebrows.

"Of course not! She was almost blacked out drunk" I said angered.

"Besides, we're only friends... She doesn't like me like that."

"Yeah man you're way out of her league" Said Demetri his eyes widening before Miguel nudged him.

I rolled my eyes and continued with breakfast...
