was the thing you heard from your parents 

You kept your mouth shut as the doors open, today was the day you met the Ackerman family, a world-known business meaning it was imperative you behave on such matter 

As the doors opened you were met with a well-dressed family tree and keeping your manners you bowed and sat down on your assigned sit 

Your parents smiled and started talking, you only half listening to it all 

Your eyes lingered on a stoic man in the process, you recognised him the moment you made eye contact...

you realised you went to the same private school, although the two of you never interacted, only some classes you shared as well as passing each other on a regular basis in the school halls 

you had to admit, he was very handsome for his age, you might as well fall for him 

" so in agreement, we will be arranging a marriage to expand our business" your parents announced 

This caught you off guard, you could only gasp quietly 

" you have to do this, as you can see here the Ackermans already signed the contract" your parents explained

You looked at them with disbelief, marriage?!?? you wanted to wait a little while longer, why now? you were so young 

" you have to do it, we will wait till your 18" your father gave you a stern look 

You look at him with sad eyes, your life was dedicated to your parents the moment you were born into this world 

" ok" you mumbled before slowly picking the pen and writing your signature 

From that day forward, it will be the worse day of your life

You were walking around the Ackerman estate as a breather when you suddenly overheard loud noises 

You walked closer and listened in being curious 

" Marriage!??! Are You Serious??! I Have A Girlfriend Uncle!" you heard 

You glance around the corner and sure enough, saw the nephew of the Ackerman business 

You stood there observing the conversation, you were bound to marry the man whether you liked it or not, although you admitted to having a tiny crush on the man.

" this is for your own good!" the world-known ' Kenny ' yelled back

" I'm Not Marrying Her! I Have A Girlfriend! And I'm Done Listening to Your Bullshit " Levi cursed and you heard a door slam shut, you had to admit those words hurt you 

You sighed, it was going to be a long 2 years... 

2 Y E A R S L A T E R : G R A D U A T I O N 

this was it, you breathed in the air as you raise your hat in the air and toss it away, you had finally graduated, the two years had been crazy, although you tried to befriend Levi, you would only have small talks, never anything big 

" [y/n]" you heard someone call to you 

You turned around and see Levi, although his expression was madder than usual 

" I have news " he announced as he huffed and crossed his arms 

You nod in response, " what is it?" you asked softly 

" we're getting married soon..." Levi said, annoyance in his tone 

You look at the ground, " oh...already that was fast..." you said

" look, I'm not breaking up with my girlfriend so you know..." Levi brought up 

Your heart ached a little at those words but nevertheless, you brought your chin up, " of course, this is just for business, no hard feelings right?" you said 

" yeah" Levi said waving and passing you coldly 

You sighed, it hurt so bad...

W E D D I N G  D A Y 

After many preparations, it had arrived, you took a deep breath as the doors opened, your father guided you to the middle and there you could see how big of an event it was, it was swarmed by millions of people, it raised your anxiety levels 

You looked at Levi as you arrived next to him, him looking like he kept a fake face, something definitely must of brought up...

However after the wedding to your relief, you felt even more relieved, keeping a fake face was killing you, so after the wedding, you drifted to yours and Levi's home, the one your parents brought you, of course, never sleeping next to each other, you barely interacted for that to happen anyway 

You laid on your couch exhausted, you had got home late after a meeting with your parents when you realised the time, it was close to midnight and Levi was nowhere to be found, where could he be? you could of sworn that he would be home by now

It was a good thing anyway, you wanted a break from him, you still loved him of course, it just hurt to do so 

So after looking at the time hazily, you decide to take a walk, it was a weird time to but seeing the bright lights of the city calmed you down 

So there you went, you went on a walk, you walked for only a couple of minutes and spot a bar, you sigh and feeling the way you were, you wanted to release some stream 

You walked into the bar and heard loud talking, you walked further inside and saw a familiar figure, Levi?

You walked closer and realised he was with his friends getting drunk 

" Like Why? I Have A Girlfriend! And I Can't Even Bring Her To This Stupid Wedding" Levi slurred

You stand there when his friend notices you 

" do you need anything Miss?" he asks you 

You look at Levi when he looks up at you and points to you 

" sorry but I'm Levi's...well I don't know how to call it, since I'm here he seems drunk enough to have to go home" you observed and explained

The friend nodded but Levi suddenly talks 

"tch...Y-You! Ruined Everything! I Hate You!" Levi pointed at you harshly 

You gripped your knuckles hearing that 

" Like Why Was It You Brat!?!?" Levi said as he accidentally crushed his glass cup 

You look at his bleeding hands and the bartender notices and gets an aid kit 

" Levi be careful!" you lecture 

" Why You?" Levi cursed and laid his head low 

Levi's friend felt sorry for you, realising you were married to him, YOU were the one he was talking shit about 

" l-ets go home" you crackled, you were on the verge of tears 

___

After tending to Levi's hands you brought him home and tended his hand again 

" I'm sorry" you said as you bandaged his hand

By now Levi seemed to be sober and he looked at you with sad eyes 

" did I say something bad..?" was all he could say 

You look at him and smile and shake your head 

" of course not!" you faked 

Levi stared at you, " shit...I'm such an idiot, I did, didn't I? I'm sorry I wasn't thinking" Levi said as he prepared to be ignored

" don't be, I'm fine, I know you didn't mean it" you lied again 

Levi looked at you, guilty as charged, he knew he was lying and you were too 

You placed a hand on Levi's hand to snap him out of his thoughts 

" don't worry, I haven't gained any feelings for you so keep continuing your relationships, we will part when its the right time, hang in there a little longer" you accompanied with a soft smile 

Levi's heart fluttered at that smile, this was the first time he gained a tint of feelings 

___

Since that night you grew closer to man but it all changed when one day he came home unbearably angry 

You stood up and went to the man as he walked in circles constantly while nearly pulling his hair out 

" hey hey Levi.. what's wrong!?!" you tried to calm the man 

Levi didn't stop as you tried helplessly, " look deep breaths" you said as you trained him to calm down 

He did and collapsed on the floor and that's where you came to his aid 

" w-what happened?" you asked as you patted the man's shoulder 

Levi looked at you, eyes watering

Apparently, as Levi vented to you, he told you how he found his girlfriend cheating on him through a friend which ended their relationship, it broke him so much as she did this behind his back for years, they had a plan, it was to run away together but he was so naive back then to believe such a plan

You sat down to him, feeling pity for him as you stroked his back gently 

" look Levi, what was in the past was in the past, you can't change that, look your way better without her, you really deserve someone who loves you for you, don't worry you will find them soon" you told Levi 

Levi softened and looked at you and suddenly hugged you softly 

You were stunned but hugged back 

" thank you"

5 M O N T H S  L A T E R | T H I R D  P E R S O N ???

The next 5 months later you two grew closer and closer, taking care of each other and displaying little affections of love secretly. The closer you two became, the more it was clear to Levi, you were the one that he was looking for, however, through guilt, he didn't confess as he knew he hurt you and it would be rushed to confess to you when you seemed unready. 

However it never changed the fact he loved you, you were much more deserving than his previous ex, he realised that now.

Nevertheless, a few days later his ex reached out to him and being sceptical, he still paid her a visit 

" did you call me?" Levi walked to his ex 

Playing with her fingers, she confesses that she missed Levi and wanted to pursue the dream of running away together again

" I'm sorry but I have found someone else" Levi dismissed 

" oh...well that's ok...it's up to you...but can we just have one last hug...? for old time's sake?" his ' ex' said opening her arms to Levi

Levi looked at her, it wouldn't hurt to hug her as her last wish and it was innocent after all

it wasn't, to you it wasn't, there you were standing behind a nearby wall 

You were heartbroken and drained, all the effort for nothing, you had to accept he wouldn't move on and so you retreated back to your not so shared home, you were drained from keeping up the silly act

The act you kept was gone after that moment and Levi realised the behaviour rather quickly, you weren't as bubbly anymore, you were cold but you still cared for Levi, but however his fears were brought to life when you proposed something to him a few days later after snapping 

" you know, we can divorce now" you said so causally 

Levi looked at you, his head snapping to you so quickly, his mind was constantly yelling no stay with me

" w-hat?" he stuttered

You smiled and turned to him, " don't you remember? before the wedding you told me that we were going to divorce after a year and I agreed" you said, tears in your eyes 

Levi tried to speak but his mouth forbid it, nothing came out of his mouth 

" I see...i will move out if you are uncomfortable, you can stay with your girlfriend, I want to move out of this place and escape my parents legacy" You smiled after a long pause of silence 

Levi stood up and rushed to you and grabbed your hands making you shocked

" No! i don't want to! look it's not what you think it is, I'm not with my ex anymore, I love you! and only you [y/n]!" Levi said as he hugged you 

You felt a sense of relief rush over you 

" you m-ean it?" you asked 

Levi parted and kissed your lips taking you back a little 

The taste was unimaginable, it took so many seconds for you two to part and when it did, Levi put his hand on your face to carelessly stroke your cheek 

" of course I love you" Levi smiled 

You smiled, for the first time you replied the same words, " I love you too "as you two hugged afterwards 

" I love you and only you my Mrs Ackerman"
