Some evil people are not evil just misunderstood.
"Yeah, Hermione just went to the bathroom though."
"Well I don't think she would mind if I sat here for a while," he said taking a seat.
"What do you want Malfoy," I groaned.
"I can help you with that potion of yours."
"I don't need your help. Besides, Hermione was helping me."
"Is that so," he said grinning. Out of nowhere, Malfoy touched my hand that was gripping my quill. Electric bolts shot through my veins while my face turned bright red. I simply turned to look at him and smiled.
"Yes, and she is coming back soon."
"Alright Sanders, I guess you won't pass that exam tomorrow." He stood up and began to walk away.
Malfoy was pretty smart, and he did make the potion successfully today. How much can this hurt?
"Wait, I guess you could help me."
He turned around grinning even wider while rubbing his hands together.

Malfoy gave me a lot of tips that night, and I enjoyed his company. It was quite weird how he was acting though. He hurt me. Why am I not mad at him? How is he so good at persuading me?
The next day, when Hermione, Ron, Harry, and I were walking down the hall to potions class, my heart was pounding out of my chest.
I was anxious to make the potion. Not that I actually wanted to make it. I just wanted to get it over with. I was really doubting myself, but Malfoy said to keep on believing, and you can achieve anything. Which was odd since I never heard him say something so inspirational before.
When I walked into class, Professor Snape raised his eyebrow at me. I didn't think too much about it since I was already frightened. I was trying to feel confident in myself, but it was already hard enough to even keep my brain inside my head.
When I was making the potion, my thoughts were going everywhere. I tried to focus, but Malfoys smiles and laughs were taking over my own mind. It was annoying me so much that I had to stop it somehow. That just led to me daydreaming though.
When I thought I was done, Malfoy came over to me.
"Did you remember to add the Fluxweed?"
"Yes," I say, trying to show him that I know what I am doing. But really, I forgot to add it in.
So I casually put it in, and catch Malfoy staring at me with a know it all grin on his face. My face turned bright red as I rushed over to Professor Snape so he could test it. It worked, and I passed his class. I am so glad Malfoy had my back but was embarrassed that I needed his help.
When class was over, it felt like a brick had left my shoulders. I caught up to Hermione, Ron, and Harry to see what they were talking about, but Malfoy grabbed my hand and pulled me to an open hall.
"God what now Malfoy," I said in a harsher tone that even surprised me.
"I wanted to congratulate you on passing," he said with a smile on his face. He probably wants me to thank him, so I did.
"Thank you Malfoy, you really saved me."
"No problem," he says with an even bigger smile on his face.
The halls were clearing up now as everyone was going back to their dorms. Out of nowhere, I felt harsh lips crash against mine. I was nice for a second, but this was going too fast.
"Draco-" I said pushing him away. "Let's not."
"Oh," he said backing up. His face turned bright red as he turned and walked down the hallway. And after that, he was gone. I was so glad I stopped that. I never even said I liked him. It was weird how Malfoy communicated. It's like you have to guess his next move.
