AIKAWA SAYURI had always dreamed of a life filled with warmth and love—a perfect family. In her absence, the police filed her disappearance as a suicide, claiming she had thrown herself into the Han River. For a year, she lived in hiding, barely surviving but free from her past—at least temporarily.

However, no one can outrun their choices forever. When fate dragged her into a series of high-stakes children's games promising an unfathomable cash prize, Sayuri was forced to confront everything she had tried so desperately to escape. Among the contestants stood the one person she had never planned to see again—the person she had abandoned, and the person whose life she had irreversibly changed.
