fae let out a huff of air, dropping the grocery bags on the counter. she groaned as she flopped herself onto the couch, moving around to find a comfortable spot.

her whole day was shit, she woke up with her arm and her fucking leg asleep. not to mention the fact that the neighborhood dogs wouldn't stop barking all night, which of course woke up the babies. leaving fae angry and trying to escape the loud insufferable barking and crying for hours.

so, not only did she have a bad start to the day, she had a bad day. the grocery store was packed, too many republicans yelling about their freedom to wear a mask, the shelves half empty and the whole store was packed with busy people. overall very anxiety indusing.

the wifi was slow at her house, so she wasn't able to upload her youtube video she had been promising for two weeks now. the whole day was going shit.

a loud groan left her mouth as she sat up again. she reached for her phone, which was at 3%.

it was a week after karl and faes date, they hadn't hung out since them, only texting one another and face timing whenever karl could while he was on the mr.beast set.

"after you, m'lady." karl teased, opening the door for fae as she approached the car. "you know, for such a bad day, your outfit it really cute." he said, bringing a smile to faes face. "hm, you really think so?" she asked.

"yup." karl said, popping the p as he started the car, rolling down faes window. "good for our sushi date?" fae joked. "oh? its a date now, is it?" karl laughed.

karl tapped her leg, "fae, were here." karl said, tapping her leg again. fae stirred in her sleep, opening her eyes to see them parked in front of a sushi place. "come on." karl said, offering his hand out to her.

"did you hear those dogs last night?" fae asked, grabbing his hand. "oh yeah, the babies too? woo." he sighed, holding her hand tightly as they put their masks on to enter the building.

fae laughed loudly, covering her mouth as she placed her chopsticks down. "koi fish?" she asked, karl nodded. "yep, an hour documentary about buying koi fish." fae shook her head. "no, trust me, its actually really interesting!" karl defended.

"oh yeah?" fae asked, eyebrows raised. "yes!" she laughed. "okay, ill hold you too that." "good!"

"wait, pull over here." fae said. karl glanced at her through the mirror. "at the beach?" she nodded vigorously. "weren't you just asleep-" "pull over jacobs." he nodded, "yes mam."

karl watched the smile grow on faes face as she opened the car door, running towards the water. "WAIT!"

fae glanced over at karl, meeting karls gray eyes before looking back at the stars. karl convinced her it was a shit idea to run into the freezing water, so now they were laying in the sand.

"isn't it so weird that we turned out to be neighbors?" fae asked, karl hummed. "yeah, i think its funny that my brother didnt tell me there was a pretty girl next door." fae snorted. "ew, that was cheesy." she said. "no, it was cute." "it was cheesy."

karl tucked his hand behind his head, listening to fae ramble. "i think we were meant to find each other, like a destiny sort of thing." fae went on. karl nodded along. "yeah, maybe."

"i bet you'd get along good with my little brother, do you like kids?" she turned her head to look at him. "yeah! i love kids, i'm a godfather you know." he said, causing a giggle out of the girl. "like the movie?" he sighed. "okay, the no sleep it catching up."

he stood up, moving hair out of his face. "lets head back." he patted the sand off his back. "why?" he laughed, pulling out his phone. "its 11 at night fae." she groaned, putting her hands up. "help."

"you should meet my younger brother, he would love you. that would be cute, youre cute." karl held back his laughs as he waited for fae to get in the car. now this would be great to bring up tomorrow when she was in the right mind.
