Silence filed the hospital room as Hyunjin groaned in pain waking up. Slowly and steadily he sat up from his hospital bed.

Flittering his eyes open slowly all he could see was a light bright from the hospital room, to busy looking around the room he didn't even realize that he could hear someone on the phone behind the curtain.

Slowly, Hyunjin reached his hand to pull the IV out from his arm but got stopped by
"What are you doing"

Hyunjin stopped and gave a look to Han
"I don't need this right now"

Hyunjin said as he pulled the IV out of his arm and slowly started to move his legs to the side of the bed, attempting to get off the bed and walk
"I- I'm f- fine" he said as he was stumbling.

"Hyunjin you just got shot, let your body rest for once for gods sake !"

Hyunjin just sat there on the bed and was quiet, not even focusing on the conversation him and were talking about.

Han sighed "Look.... I need to tell you somethi-"

But before Han was able to say another word, the door bursted open revealing a angry pink and black haired female
"Are you stupid or what ?!" She yelled frustrated as she ran toward Hyunjin.

"How could you go on a mission when you know your mind wasn't in the right place at the moment !" Yeji yelled as she held onto the hospital bed.

She turned towards Han
"And you, how could you let him and yourself go on that mission knowing what could've happened, it's bad enough he got shot but if you did how would Minho feel." She yelled at Han, very frustrated and angry.

Han felt a sly bit of guilt and regret rush through him "Yeji we didn't have a choice, it was a required missi-"

"Required mission my ass, you two are more important to me then some stupid mission." Yeji spat.

Hyunjin and Han were both silent with their heads down
"Hyunjin Imagine how Felix feels after he saw you, lying down here on the bed with a oxygen mask on and needles being stabbed into your body-"

"Yeji !" Han yelled interrupting Yeji.

Hyunjin's eyes widened
"Felix was here ?!"

"What do you mean Felix was here ?! He was the first person to come here ! He stormed through the building begging for your name and causing a ruckus in the lobby ! I thought as soon as me and Han talked to him he would've stayed at your side!" Yeji yelled as she told Hyunjin who was processing all of the information.

Han gritted his teeth seeing Hyunjin look so blank and confused "Did you not see hi-"

"YEJI !" Han yelled in anger as he gave Yeji a glare
"We have to talk" Han said as he grabbed yejis wrist and dragged her out of the room and into the in room bathroom.

Leaving a blank Hyunjin with thoughts and thoughts running through his head.

'Lix was here ?!'

'He saw me ?!'

'Why didn't he stay ?'

'Did he find out ?!'

'Did he leave me ?!....'

Without another second to think; Hyunjin was rushing out of his hospital room and heading towards the hospital exit.

He was in so much pain with every step his body took, he wanted to lose his will and go back to safety but how could he knowing that his safe place could've left him without so much as a word.

Nurses and doctors saw Hyunjin running through the hallways and tried to stop him but couldn't, Hyunjin's gaze and aura was fazed with anger and regret.

"What the fuck han ?! Why would you drag me out!?" Yeji yelled.

"Something happened after you left" Han said as he gave Yeji a serious glare.

Yeji calmed down and gave Han a nod indicating she was listening.

Han sighed "Felix.... Left"

Hyunjin was running through the road now, passing by each car and eventually ended up on the sidewalk.

His only destination being his and Felix's home.

"What do you mean Felix left ?!"

"After you left, me and Felix talked about a couple of things, but..."

"But what?"

"I never expected he would take it."

"Take it what ?"

"Take it so unexpectedly"

Hyunjin finally reached his and Felix's apartment building complex.

All the lights were turned off and their apartment lights were turned off as well.

'Please just let him be asleep' Hyunjin practically begged in his head.

Hyunjin walked into the main lobby and headed into the elevator getting a couple of weird glances from the neighbors but he didn't care.

"How did he take it ?" Yeji asked.

"H- He just kept blaming himself, he was shaking and it was scaring me. It looked like his whole entire world had collapsed."

Hyunjin rushed out of the elevator and ran to his apartment door. He held onto his wound making sure nothing would happen but indeed... it did nothing.

Hyunjin's wound started breaking open, stitches started collapsing but some stayed on but alas, it didn't stop Hyunjin.

Hyunjin reached for his door but didn't expect for it to already be unlocked.

"L- I can't believe that Han, Felix and Hyunjin have known each other for so long, there's no way Felix felt that way about his Hyunjin"

"After he was done crying, he gave me a small smile and walked out of the hospital... I- I- I don't know where he was going but I assumed he was going home"

Yejis eyes widened "y- you don't think..."

Hans shook his head "no... he wouldn't do that, Hyunjin is his best friend and I know Felix has some kind of feelings for Hyunjin and so does Hyunjin, there's no way Felix would leave him."

But little did they know that he did.

Hyunjin opened the door to find a dark apartment, with things scattered all over the place.

He immediately went to Felix's bedroom and saw that everything was gone, from the bedside table to the closet.

Even the pictures of him and Hyunjin were gone.

Hyunjin couldn't believe his eyes, his mind went completely blank his body froze the only thing he saw was an envelope on the bed, on the cover was written

Hyunjinnie in cursive writing.

As scared as Hyunjin was he picked up the letter, he wasn't prepared for what was gonna happen next but he knew one thing.

He would regret it if he never opened it even if he did he would feel an agonizing amount of pain.

He opened the letter and picked the paper out of the envelope, he started reading it.

Dear Hyunjin,

Hey jinnie... your probably reading this as soon as you woke up, knowing how stubborn you are you must've run out of the hospital as soon as you found out I was there and wait until you woke up right? I knew I only had a certain amount of time to get my things before you would've been back.

So that was your secret huh, an assassin.
It sounds cool when you think about it but now... I finally know why you couldn't tell me.
Hearing that come from Han saying you got shot, it broke my heart into pieces.

And knowing that our last talk would've been an argument over that certain topic made me feel really guilty.

First things first though, jinnie... I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for constantly bugging you about the subject and annoying you about telling me your secret knowing that I was putting more pressure onto you without me even knowing it.

Han told me that you weren't in your right mind the whole mission and he had no idea why, but I knew it had something to do with me.

Knowing that I'm the reason you got shot, I couldn't bare living with you knowing that I'm the reason you could've died tonight.

I'm sorry I left. I'm sorry I disappeared from your life and so suddenly but, I think this is what's best for us.

I couldn't bare being such a big distraction in your life, even knowing the love I have for you I could never get because of the biggest conflict in your life.

But jinnie... do me a favor, first off don't die in battle, that would be super tragic and second, don't be so harsh on Yeji and Han, they just want to be there for you and help you.

Jinnie... you will always be my best friend, my favorite person, and my first love.

Don't look for me either, that'll just be an even bigger waste of time.

I paid off the apartment loan so you don't have to worry about paying it anymore, now you finally have a place to call home.

"Felix.... Lix... why...." Hyunjin yelled in between his sobs and coughs.

"Why would you leave me when your the place I call home...."
