It had been a week since the party and yet another stressful week at school. Your English teacher decided that for the next three weeks homework was a top priority and it was mainly practicing how to answer exam questions since you had exams coming up soon. They weren't anything major just a test to see how well you've been working throughout the school year.

However, even though you were doing the homework and had handed in everything that was due for this week something was pestering the back of your mind and kept taking your focus away from any task at hand. You had sat there for hours on end just thinking about it but couldn't come to any conclusions so what was the next step for you?

Well to go and ask your brother Koushi of course, he's a couple years older than you so he's got plenty of experience with feelings and emotions that you can't quite describe nor put your finger on.

So, after finishing up your last piece of homework you put away all of your study materials since you liked to keep things clean and organised so one year you bought a load of things to store objects like pens and plastic notes in.

You quickly make your way down the hall to your brothers room and remember to knock before entering. "Come in!" Once you hear this you walk in and see that your brother is just finishing up his last piece of homework just as you were. You had gotten your punctuality and need to get work done as soon as possible from him so it only made sense that he was doing school work as well. Sometimes the pair of you even competed on who could finish their homework the faster but over the years you both stopped because the work being set needed more care and attention. "What's up Y/n?" He spins around on his chair to face you and sits in a position that makes it seem like you were a spy hunting him down, he even pretended to stroke a cat that was 'sat on his lap'.

"I'm just feeling a bit conflicted right now and just wanted to see if you could work out why?" When you first started speaking it was more of a statement, you were telling him a bit about how you felt since your weren't actually completely sure on how you were feeling but in the end it sounded like a question.

He makes a small 'hm?' noise as he offered for you to sit on his bed, you accepted since you didn't know how long you were going to be in here for. "So tell me all that you can cause to me it sounds like you've got no idea what's going on" you smiled because of how patient he is with you, he would give up all the time in a day just to listen to any problems you had.

You told him about how you keep getting distracted when doing homework and even sitting in class but when he asked if it was over anything specific you hesitated. Should I tell him? He's my brother, I trust him with my life...

After taking a deep breath you finally tell him how you sometimes feel around Nishinoya. The strange, tingly feeling of butterflies in your stomach and the way you feel at ease when he's around you. The declaration he made in the gym in front of everyone had still been stuck with you till this day and it's part of what made you trust Nishinoya so much. He wasn't afraid to put himself out there if it meant no attention was being directed towards you.

Fortunately for you, your brother had also noticed how your face got a little redder whenever Noya was around and this sort of embarrassed you but that feeling soon died down since he was your brother and he would never judge you. "So" you draw out the word. "What do you think I should do?" He sat there spinning slightly from left to right on his chair as he plays with his fingers, all of this was accompanied by his foot lightly tapping the floor.

"I think there is only really one solution but the question is whether or not you'd be able to go through with it" you had a slight feeling that you knew exactly what this 'solution' was because you had thought about it earlier. However, you didn't want to settle on anything without having the opinion of Koushi.

You sigh and lay back on his bed, mentally preparing yourself for what he is going to say. "You know what I'm going to say don't you?" You reply to him with a small 'mhm' and you see him flash you a small smile from the corner of your eye. "You might need to confront him Y/n...he most likely won't approach you first because he's worried about scaring you away or saying the wrong thing to you but I can assure you that he feels the same" by now you had sat back up and were staring off into space as your brothers words played over and over again in your mind. Can assure me that he feels the same?

After you exchanged a few more thoughts and words with your brother you left to return to your room. You thanked him and gave him a quick hug for helping you think through this situation more.

You really weren't sure about the whole idea of confronting Noya, not just because of how many pessimistic thoughts would flood your mind during the confrontation but also because some of you was starting to doubt what your brother said. Did Nishinoya really feel the same way about you as you did about him?

You didn't want to dwell too much on it right now so you went downstairs and helped your mum out around the house since she had been having it a bit rough at work lately.

All three of you had just finished eating your food so you were currently washing up the plates in the sink, the dishwasher was already turned on so you just decided to wash them yourself instead of pausing the machine to put the plates in.

For the majority of the time you were washing up you thought about how you were going to approach Noya. You didn't want to tell him during practice because he needs to focus for upcoming matches. So, in the end you settled on sending him a message to meet you somewhere in around an hour or so.

Guardian Deity

Angel
Hey Nishinoya-san would you mind meeting me at that small communal area with all of the benches?

Guardian Deity
Angel what have I said about calling me that?

Angel
Oh my bad! I'm so used to it

Guardian Deity
It's fine take as long as you need to adjust but sure I think I know where you are on about

Angel
I'm not sure of the exact name of the place so I kinda had to use a terrible description

Guardian Deity
Wanna meet there in around an hour?

Angel
Sounds good see you then!

You put your phone down and had a smile on your face, you were starting to feel confident but knew it most likely wouldn't last so you knew you had to make the most of it.

Time had passed and you were now waiting for him. Your leg was bouncing up and down on the ground as you sat there gazing up into the sky. The sun had set a bit earlier today so some stars had already started peaking through the darkness, you had always wondered how the world would look if all of the lights in cities were turned off and the only light source left were the stars.

These thoughts were only in your mind to keep the situation at hand off of it because right now this was the only thing keeping you calm. A few minutes ago your brother sent you a 'I believe in you, you can do it!' text that made you smile and laugh to yourself at how caring he was.

More time had gone by and it had almost been an hour, you'd he lying to yourself if you didn't admit you got here a bit earlier than planned to help you mentally prepare more.

Suddenly, you hear the sound of gravel being crushed under someone's feet so you look to your left and see Noya with his hair down. You stand up and run towards him to which he thinks you were going to hug him but instead you started touching his hair. "You left it down!" You cheered as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"So is there something you wanted to talk about?" He asks as you slowly back away, it was now or never.

"There is actually..."
