I had gone back to patroling my region, trying to scout for any information I might get for the next pillar meeting. I lost my sword while in a battle with a somewhat powerful demon, right now I was on the back of a kakushi, making my way to the swordsmith village. Such a coinciedence that Tanjiro would be heading there too, we've been exchanging letters during his recovery, his swordsmith hadn't sent a sword to him so he decided to visit the village to find him.

'I hope I run into Tanjiro, I wonder if Muichiro is still here..'

"Lady L/n, we are arriving now." The kakushi spoke up

"Oh already? How wonderful!"

I got set down, and my sight returned when the blindfold was taken off, then my hearing once the earplugs were out. I thanked the kakushi and walked into the village, making sure to greet the chief before attending to anything else.

"Y/NNN!! YOU'RE ALREADY HERE!!"

I turnt my head to the voice that was calling out for me, there was the love pillar running straight for me, "Kanroji!! Slow down you'll--"

"I MISSED YOU SO MUCHHHHHH!!" She englufed me in a hug

I squeezed her back, laughing as she twirled us both around. A waterfall of tears fell down her cheeks, I only made fun of her for it. She had questioned me about the mist pillar again, almost everytime we see each other that's the first topic she wants to discuss, I retaliate by mentioning the serpent pillar.

"Lady L/n, this is where you'll be staying, here are some more comfortable clothes for your stay here. Please enjoy the bath, we will be down here preparing you dinner!"

"Thank you so much!!" I took the pile of clothes from the swordsmiths hands and stepped into my room to change.

The door slid open just as I was putting my uniform away, "You ready Y/n?"

"Yep! Let's go Kanroji!!"

We both headed up to the spring, catching up on the walk there, telling her that she was somewhat right about Muichiro, the way my heart flutters when we make contact, even just finding any excuse to feel his hand intertwine with mine.

"KYAHH!! I TOLD YOUUU!!"

I stepped into the spring with a towel covering my body, letting it relax my injuries and calm my head, "Yeah, yeah."

"Hmm.. Y/n where did you get that ring from? It's so pretty!" Kanroji lifted my hand to examine the jewelry

"The old man at the restaurant gave Muichiro and I matching ones, something about soulmates.." I regretting telling her that piece of information, now she had devious sparkles in her eyes

"I said you were bound to be together, right, right?!"

"Mhm, just like you and Iguro."

"You think soooo.. he's so snake like!!"

I deadpanned at her reaction, only laughing it off as she started to rant about him. I admired the plants around the spring, it was close to beating my garden, I really wanted the spleenworts from here to become part of my plant family but apparently I can't steal them..

"Thank youuu..!!"

"Oh? Did you hear that echo of gratitude?" Kanroji turnt her head

"Mm, sounds like someone else is here!" I slowly rose up from the water, we should go see who it is!!

Kanroji and I desended down the path, while we were we had seen another demon slayer, he was huge and Kanroji attempted to greet him, only for her to get ignored, I snickered at her crying face.

"Calling you a fellow pillar doesn't sit right.." I complained to my former mentor

"Ehh? Really?? Oh.. is that Tanjiro??" Kanroji acknowledged

I glanced over to meet where her eyes were pointed, "Ah! It is!!"

"AHHH!! TANJIROO!! IT'S TANJIROOO!!"

"KANROJI!! SLOW DOWN YOU'LL FLASH SOMEBODY!!"

"WOAH!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! YOUR BREASTS ARE ABOUT TO SPILL OUT!!"

Kanroji casually ran into Tanjiro, sending them quite far away, I couldn't hide my laughter as I walked up to them. She began to whine about how that slayer up there ignored her, I think I've seen him before while patroling my region.. Shinazugawa Genya wasn't it?

"Now all the good energy I got from the spring is gone!!" She cried out

I placed my hand on her shoulder while she cried into her own hands, "How is your recovery Tanjiro?"

"I'm getting better! I can't wait to get to the hotspring!!" He let his signature smile take over his face

"It'll ease your scars, well then, Kanroji they're serving dinner, shouldn't we go eat??" I held my hands on my hips

"Woah seriously!? Let's goo!!" She sped down the path

I said farewell to Tanjiro before chasing after her, I couldn't wait to taste the delicous food they had prepared!! Tanjiro had also joined us in the middle of dinner, with his adorable sister.

"Nezuko!! I haven't seen you in so long!!" I smiled at the she-demon

She had given me a small hug, "Mmh mhhm!!"

My pile of plates was near matching Kanroji's, Tanjiro admired how much we could eat, it reminded me of Muichiro.. I hope I can see him soon.

"I'm gonna eat a whole lot and get strong too!!"

"Oh! Really?? We barely ate today!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T EAT THAT MUCH?!!?!"

A breathy laugh left my lips, I stacked another bowl and requested another serving.

"Oh! That guy that you met at the spring, his name is Shinazugawa Genya."

"I thought so, I had seen him when I was patroling."

"Oh! Is that so? That'd mean he was Shinazugawa-san's brother, but he told me he didn't have one! They must not get along well, that's so tragic." Kanroji's mood was brought down thinking of two siblings not getting along. Though it was quickly washed over when she started playing with Nezuko.

"Genya still hasn't come here, I was hoping to chat with him.." Tanjiro sighed

"I heard he told the villagers he wouldn't eat at all, why don't we bring some food to him just in case?" I started to wrap some leftovers

Tanjiro had gotten a tray to take to Genya, his selfless state is admirable, what a ray of sunshine. Now all of us were going to where his room was to deliver the food, Kanroji started to sing a lulluby, she had a beautiful voice and sang much in the love mansion, I picked up on some of the songs.

"Kanroji-san why did you join the demon slayers?" Tanjiro blurted out the questioned, I held onto Nezuko's hand as Kanroji's face earned a light blush

"I joined so I could find a gentleman to marry me for life!"  She squealed out while holding her cheeks, the pink on her cheeks erupted all over her face.  Continuing her explanation which wasn't helping I could see Tanjiros  distressed face.

I only chuckled and turnt to him, "It's okay Tanjiro everyone who has heard this has reacted the same way, even I did."

Kanroji turned around and covered her face out of embarrassment, "Y/n how could you betray me like this.."

"Oh stop it you drama queen."

We made it to where Genya was supposed to be resting, but when we slid open the tatami door, no one was to be found. I worried on where the boy might be, perhaphs still at the spring. A kakushi had come by to retrive Kanroji for the final touches on her nirichin blade. Before the love pillar had left she whispered something into Tanjiro's ear, which made him quickly lift the tray above his head to avoid the nosebleed.

"Bye Kanroji!!" I waved to her while laughing at Tanjiro

I bid farewell to the Kamado siblings, I intended to catch some sleep, working day and night is not ideal for my body. Maybe I could run into Muichiro tomorrow, I know he said he came here to find his new swordsmith, and about a doll. It was called, Yorrichi Type Zero.

why are people reading this, how are you finding it. anyway, woop woop we starting this off can't wait for muichiro to get his memories back. Also, spleenwort is those leaf-looking plants like this
