The Truth Lies Entail'

โ˜ฝ

"IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!" the original hybrid yelled, almost waking up the entire compound in the process. "Klaus, at least hear him out." Hayley tried her best to persuade him in the calmest tone of voice she barely mustered up.

"Lies. Marcel is lying. He just wants revenge for locking him away. And you two, so naive to feed into his deception!" He raged, pointing at the two who stood next to one another across the room in silence.

"Hey! This wasn't and still isn't easy for me either." Hayley raised her voice and as she did, Elijah was quick to try and step in but the youngest hybrid was faster by stopping him with her hand.

"I am still trying to process it and no matter what it is you and I choose to believe, there is chance it might be true." Hayley finished and right after gestured to Elijah take her place as she was growing tired speaking to Klaus.

"Brother, all of what me and Hayley said is fact. I saw it with my own eyes and Vincent, he performed a ritual that proved it to be true." Just as Elijah finshed his sentence and he felt like he was breaking through to Klaus who wasn't cutting him off when he spoke, Freya walked in.

"What is with all the ruckus, you all are going to wake up Hope." The three simply looked at her in silence and the witch was quick to notice the tension the filled the air. The youngest among the now four, merely couldn't stand being there anymore. She felt nauseous and needed a breather alone to still take in everything.

"I'm going for a walk." Was all she said, uncrossing her arms before giving the three siblings in front of her one last look.

"Hayley, no! No one is leaving until we get to the bottom if this!" Klaus yelled and attempting to follow after her, but was immediately stopped by the weight of Elijah's arm.

"Leave her be, brother. This is just as hard for her as it is for you." Elijah spoke sternly, in which Klaus' lips twitched at what Elijah was insinuating. That this was supposedly hard for him because he had a "lost long son" this entire time. While glaring daggers into his brother, he eventually gave in and left Hayley be before walking over to the table to pour himself a glass of whiskey.

Freya just stood in the room confused as ever before cutting in.

"What is this all about and why is Hayley so pissed off?" Freya interrogated before turning her body towards Klaus.

"Why must you assume I am the cause of Hayley's temper?" He asked while taking a sip of his whiskey. However, he didnt bother letting Freya respond to him, instead went one to speak again.

"Anyway, I am happy you asked Freya. Maybe you can help put an end to this nonsense Elijah and Hayley continue spewing out."

Elijah rubbed his head at Klaus' antics.

"And what might that be?" Freya asked still confused as to what he was referring to.

"Go on brother, explain to her how you believe I have some long lost son." Klaus sarcastically teased. His were eyebrows raised at Elijah who was silent and still rubbing his head.

And the Mikaelson witch didn't know what to say. She felt as though all her vocabulary had been stripped from her mind.

"L-Lijah, what is he talking about?" She asked.

"Freya, that boy we saw with Marcel-" Elijah hinted and Freya immediately knew.

"No. There's no way..." She whispered, looking between her two younger brothers. The idea of having a new nephew was in no way something she would have believed be true if someone told her yesterday.

"Exactly what I said. Now, Freya, get on with it and gather your little witchy stuff. Finish this once and for all. It's been quite a long night." The hybrid finished while downing his fifth glass of whiskey.

"I am telling you Niklaus, there is no use Vincent already performed a spell. And if you would just let me show you-"

"No! Only to be roped into whatever lies that Marcel so clearly wants me to believe? Whatever you saw in that boy's mind in poison. Lies. The only child I have and the only one I care about is Hope." He seethed.

Freya watched the two stare at eachother with such hostility in that moment and believed it best to keep her own thoughts and opinions to herself. "I'll go get my things." Was all she said to break up the tension before leaving to gather her supplies and begin the spell to satisfy Klaus and put and end to this conspiracy once and for all.

โ€”

After a few minutes she gathered all her supplies and was ready to begin.

"All I need is one of his belongings. Blood would be preferable but-"

"Well that shouldn't be any problem, seeing as he is just upstairs-" Klaus suggested before attempting to make his way to the sleeping childs room.

"No one lays a finger on that child. Not until Freya "confirms" your delirious suspicions and in that case we figure something else out." Elijah sped towards Klaus before taking another step. And just as before, Freya could smell the tension between the two with ease and decided herself to make things move quicker.

"Forget it, I'll go get it myself. Since you two can't manage to be capable for one second." She sneered dropping her belongings and purposefully walking in between the two.

Just as she had made her way to up the stairs, she found herself just in front of the door. Hesitantly, she cracked the wooden frame open to find the boy almost still sound asleep with all the noise that happened throughout the night. She didn't bother admiring each peaceful breath that the boy took but instead snapped herself out the trance and quickly made her way over the side of his bed where she spotted his backpack.

As she rummaged through his belongings, she found an old diary, sketch book that she didn't let go unnoticed and a Nasca coven grimoire which she didn't waste another second flipping through, remembering all the myths and legends she heard growing up surrounding the coven.

"Oh my god." She whispered to herself.

As she looked up at the boy on the bed above her, she made it ten times easier for herself by quickly observing a tiny loose hair that was on his pillow and snatched it for the spell. And with that she took her leave, not forgetting to take the grimoire with her.

"Well that wasn't so hard was it?" She broke the silence in the room, catching the looks of her two younger brothers who noticed the rather large book she waved around in her hand before slamming it onto the table before them.

"What is this?" Elijah spoke first before Klaus.

"That right there is a Nasca coven grimoire." Freya said cockily. Klaus and Elijah simply stared at her with a blank face, implying for her to clarify.

"I grew up hearing about legends and stories storing surrounding this coven. They were supposedly one of the most powerful covens in existence. But no one ever actually believed the anything since their name and even practises were simply a word lost in the wind." She paused and looked up at the two, waiting for her to continue.

"And this right here, this is proof that they exist." She pushed the grimoire towards them. "And that boy up there, he just might be one of them." Just as she finished, Klaus felt victory.

"Ah there it is. You didn't have to go into such dreadful detail about being told one too many scary stories as a child and could have simply put it, he is not my son." Klaus was about to walk away, before Elijah stopped him.

"You didn't let me finish, if he is your son, then we have a much bigger problem to worry about." Freya finished.

Klaus didn't care about what she said and merely gave her an annoyed look before looking down at his arm that Elijah was still holding without even realizing.

"You know brother, I am really starting to get agitated the more you do that." The hybrid spit before pushing his older brother off. Elijah his ignored his brother and rather then responding to it, he pointed at Freya to begin the spell. If it took his sister doing the spell to prove to his brother Noren was his son, it was going to happen.

"Freya start the spell now."

"Already on it." Freya responded faster then expected and was already situating everything in order. She needed to know the truth, if even there was a slightest possibility the child up there who had direct ties to the coven she was scared of growing up, was her brothers son, she was going to find out.

"Great." Klaus huffed, turning back around and walking towards where the witch was.

โ€”

A few moments had passed and Freya was nearly done the spell, similar events that took place with Vincent occured, in which Elijah didn't waste a moment noting in his monotone voice. Hayley was also there at this point, just as curious as the next person there, even though she saw everything. It didnt hurt to know for sure, she thought. And just when the Mikaelson witch finished her spell, it fell completely silent.

"What is it, what happened?" Hayley bombarded the witch with questions, while Elijah came to his sisters side as she looked more drained from the spell.

The crowd was oddly silent and Hayley looked between the three siblings, mainly Klaus who would normally be rambling or demanding answers as well, but the answer to her question remained unanswered.

"It connects." Klaus gulped and of the three, was the first to speak. And when he did, his voice was more quiet then usual. His eyes almost looked glossy and if they didn't know the original hybrid any better, they would say he looked like he was about shed a tear.

He turned his back to walk away, where to? He didn't know.

"Niklaus." Elijah called out, leaving his sisters side.

Klaus' back was still turned but halted at the sound of his name.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To see my son."
