THE MORNING AFTER everything, Gloria and Jax made it their plan to wake up early to look for Noren.

Noren, who could be found at a park feeding ducks was unaware of the everlasting dangers surrounding him constantly. Except for the Nasca Coven and his grandmother of course.

But he didn't want to think about that, in fact it was the last thing on earth he wanted to dwell on.

Back at Glorias, Jax stared at Gloria as she patted on makeup with ease, while in her other hand somehow managing to balance combing her raven black hair.

A frown quickly appeared on his face as he realized what today meant. It meant possibly losing the love of his life, losing all of this forever. She would hate him but it was better than whatever outcome she had in mind. She just didn't know it.

Without realizing, Gloria jumped as she caught a reflection of Jax staring at her through her mirror.

"Jax, you scared me." She said letting out a small laugh before catching a glimpse of the frown painted on his face on his wide face.

"Oh hun, are you okay?" She asked, while putting everything down to making her way over way over to him.

Smiling softly, Jax looked down at Gloria admiring her beauty while placing his hand on her cheek, not long after Gloria placed her hand on top of his, squeezing as if for reassurance.

"Everything is fine... it's perfect." Jax whispered hesitantly before kissing her forehead.

"I just want you to know that no matter what happens, i love you so much."

Gloria was worried before Jax quickly reassured her suspicions once again by lifting her off the ground suddenly, before kissing her passionately.

Not long after the couples time in the bedroom, they hopped on the road ready to locate the whereabouts of Noren.

Gloria couldn't say where he was exactly, seeing as when she tried to do a locator spell something was blocking her. And the further she pushed the harder it became from her, considering Noren had done a protection spell on himself and she was currently dying.

Looking outside of the car window Gloria began to think out loud.

"Where would a little boy with no home, no friends, no family and no shelter go?" Jax paused to think before voicing his thoughts.

"I mean, he found shelter in some random ladies restaurant once before?" He said with a smile before giving Gloria a small nudge.

"Heyyy." She said laughing causing Jax to smile.

Silence quickly took over the car once again as the two drove around the area keeping their eyes wide for any signs of the blonde headed boy.

The silence didn't last long, before Gloria spoke in distress.

"Stop, stop the car." Gloria ushered Jax, he didnt waste another second pulling over the car onto the side of the road before questioning Gloria.

"Whats wro-" Jax didn't get to even finish his sentence before Gloria cut him off by getting out of the car abruptly and Jax following close behind.

"He's close, I don't know how but his strength it's so off course that it's almost, magnetizing. I can feel him." Gloria spoke before walking into the streets blindly making her way to the lake that was just a few blocks from where her an Jax were just standing.

Quickly catching up, Jax followed without uttering another word. He was used to this, to him it was what he would call random "witchy spasms" and he wasn't about to interfere with her juju.

After a few minutes of walking in silence, Jax grew anxious but went for it anyway.

"Look, Gloria maybe he isn't here lets go back to the ca-"

Gloria held her finger up to her lips before slowly pointing into the direction where a little boy could be seen simply feeding ducks.

His eyes softened at the sight the pureness that radiated from the boy before looking back down at Gloria who didn't hesitate making her way to the youngest Mikaelson heir.

Before getting far, Jax latched onto her arm questioning her if this is really what she wanted.

"I'm sure, i love you so much. And i would do anything to spend the rest of my life with you." Gloria responded, before kissing his cheek on her leave towards Noren.

I'll say your name if I need you." Gloria whispered while walking towards theboy, in which Jax responded with a subtle nod.

Looking up from his moments of joy and peacefulness, Noren was startled to see the lady who had given him shelter and food just a few nights ago right standing in front of him.

"G-Gloria?" Noren started, he was caught off guard with multiple questions and concerns flooding his brain, but utter bliss sent shock throughout his body and before Gloria realized, he was latched onto her torso.

"Oh my god, you wouldn't believe what happened these ducks, they attacked me today and i fell into the water i was all drenched and.. wait how did you find-"

Noren began rambling but before he could finish Gloria cut him off with her hand on his shoulder and a look of stone.

"Gloria.. are you okay?" The boy questioned scrunching up his face with discern.

"I am fine, just came to the lake for so fresh air and saw you here. Thought you might appreciate some more chicken wings."

Gloria forged a smile trying her best to believe the deceiving lies that came out of her mouth way too easily. The floating question remained up in the air for what felt like a while which made Gloria think he was beginning to catch on, but instead he gladly returned back the smile before gracefully accepting her offer.

"Wait here I just need to get my things."  Noren told the witch before heading towards the bench that held his belongings.

Gloria who felt reassured of herself turned to see her love who was still where she had left him eavesdropping in on the entire conversation. Giving him a nod before making her way over towards the the boy who had his grimoire out. Before her mind could even process what he was doing, she was being flung ten feet into the air and into the water.

"I trusted you Gloria! You're a LIAR!" Noren yelled in defeat before taking his backpack and running. He didn't get far though, Jax who had initially sped over to Gloria and was convinced by the witch that she was fine and to get the kid instead.

"I'm fine its just water, he has mercy, more than his father could testify to." Gloria joked. Giving her a half hearted smile, Jax sped off into the direction of Noren before finding him with ease due to his enhanced hearing.

"Hey kid!" Jax quickly caught his attention causing him to run into the other direction leading him into an ally.

"Leave me ALONE, you guys are creepy!!" Noren yelled in fear. He was out of breath. Sure he was basically a supernatural deity but he was in the moment just a witch.

Jax had no trouble catching up to him, leaving the boy trapped as he had reached the near dead end of the ally.

"Look kid, I'm not trying to hurt you, I'm going to help. I love Gloria but you just need to trust me, please." Jax scrambled his words trying to ease the tension the best way possible to avoid Gloria.

"NO! Why should i trust you weirdo, you tried to kidnap me and you're smoochy with Gloria!" Noren gestured the movements in the air catching Jax off guard.

"—Look kid, please we have to go now if you don't want to run into he-"

Jax was once again, caught off guard, that same damn shampoo and body wash.

The same one that brings him into a constant euphoric state, the one he thought he would never get used to, ever.

He sighed to himself before slowly turning around. He knew she had heard everything, and although thats the last thing he wanted he can't go back now.

"You are one hell of an actor I'll give you that." Gloria trembled as the words left her mouth. Tears welled out of her eyes as she stared at the man she would even now in this moment still do anything for.

"Gloria pleas-" his sentence didn't last long before all he could feel was excruciating pain in head before falling down to his knees clutching the pain in agony.

"You're a punk. I'm gonna live a long and happy life, not for you but for me." Gloria's words were laced with venom as she worsened the pain by second with her magic while giving the boy who just stood there like he was watching television a dirty glare.

"Your next." Those two words were all it took for the little boy to snap back into reality and run for his life.

About to follow fast behind Gloria was stopped by none other then Jax when he held her tight in his arms trying his best to keep her from doing anything she'd regret.

Unfortunately for Jax, his attempt to stop her was cut shortly when she began to give him yet another aneurism. Jax screamed in pain for the second time but the pain was worse. He pleaded at Gloria's knees the pain came to a sudden halt.

He looked up at the immediate crashing sound to see Gloria in a pile of garbage.

"Leave him alone!" Noren came out of nowhere
using his powers before running up to Jax to see if he was okay. Quickly nodding Jax took the kids hand in his about to leave before glancing back at Gloria who was still recovering from the blow.

"Why? Why?! Why weren't you devoted to me?!" She yelled desperately like a child.

"I-I couldn't let you do it." Jax responded stuttering at the lingering questions as Noren pleaded for him to leave.

"He wouldn't approve if he knew, I needed to do what was right." Was all Jax said in utter defeat before Gloria questioned him once again.

Gloria was confused by what he had meant beginning to question him even more to elaborate and continued to say things about Noren.

"That boy wont live past the age of his seventeen, and if you don't kill me yourself Jax, I will tell his coven exactly where they can find him." She paused revealing an unexplainable smile, her sanity was gone.

She was far gone.

Noren heard what she said, his insides twisted with fear, and when Jax could hear the uprising of his heartbeat from that singular comment, he stopped dead in his tracks.

He hated himself for what he did, it was impulsive. But he did it anyway, for the sake of Noren's wellbeing, no kid should have to live their life looking over their shoulder, he thought.

Before he even realized what he was about to do or even Gloria for that matter, Jax sped towards her plunging his hand deep into her chest tearing out her heart.

He was torn, but so was the child who witnessed it.

It was sudden, so when the boy saw the bloodied heart of someone he had considered dear to him at one point even if it was for a short period, it was beyond nauseating.

Jax dropped the heart in despair and anguish before mouthing to the women he still loved so deeply the next few words.

"Marcel, Marcel Gerard. Thats where my loyalty lies."

Long ass mf chapter, but i jus wanted to get all of this out of the way. And terrible ass cheesy writing, mamas tired and brain doesn't work anymore.

And dw next chapter there will be a brief part about how Noren knew Gloria was a scam lol

And ik that tribrids aren't actually equal strength to deities (gods) its jus a small exaggeration for the sake of the explanation and story.

Anyways again pls lmk if you have ANY qs.
