"Bokuto, are you sure you remember where my house is?" You asked, stepping out of your house and looking for Bokuto's car.

"Quit worrying [Y/N]! Of course I remember where you live! And even if I didn't, Nozomi does! Right?"

"You don't need to ask for reassurance on something so obvious, Bokuto." Nozomi sighed. "We'll be there in a minute [Y/N], just sit tight."

"Sure, later." You said and hung up. Honestly, you were freaking the fuck out right now. You and Akaashi were going to be together? And hanging out? The thought was nerve-wracking, especially since you didn't want to end up embarrassing yourself in front of him. Just the thought of it made you want to crawl up in a hole and die.

  You're just overreacting, you told yourself. Everything is going to work out fine.

  "Hey! Look at you, already waiting for us!" Bokuto shouted, pulling his car into your driveway.

  "Someone's eager, hm?" Konoha said as you walked down the steps and towards the car. "Nozomi, don't be so quiet now, say something too!"

  Nozomi, who had been sat in the front—on Konoha's lap—crossed her arms and looked away from the window. "Shut up Akinori, I'll literally break your nose. [Y/N] hurry up and get in the car."

  You nervously smiled and opened the door to sit in the backseat, being met face to face with Akaashi. "Akaashi..! Hey!"

  "Hi [Y/N]. Nice to finally see you outside of school." He said and smiled at you.

"Ooooh, romantic! First date, kinda nervous, huh?" Bokuto grinned.

"Bokuto, just drive already!" You and Nozomi yelled. The older boy repeated your words in a mocking tone while he backed out of the driveway and pulled off.

"Nozomi, yours looks so good, can I please have some?" Bokuto begged. Nozomi shooed him away and continued to eat her ice cream. Konoha came over and started begging her too, though he did actually want any ice cream, he just wanted to annoy her.

"I didn't realize any of you acted like this." Akaashi said, sitting down next to you.

You turned your face to look away from him, embarrassed. "What do you mean by that? These dumbasses still act like this in public."

"Hm, maybe." He hummed. "Not you though. Whenever I see you at school you always seem so reserved unless you're with the three of them," he pointed to Bokuto, Nozomi, and Konoha, "but seeing you like this isn't that bad either. You're fun. I like that about you."

"Akaashi!" You smiled, lightly pushing his shoulder. "So this is a date!"

"It is?!" He asked. "Oh my gosh, I've never been on an actual date before... and the fact that I just said all that to you..."

"Akaashi, relax!" You said, not meaning to have made him anxious. "I've never been on an actual date either."

"...Really? But you're...you! How have you never gone on a date before? Or at least had a boyfriend?"

"I should be asking you these questions. You're, like, the finest boy at our school! How has no girl tried to get at you before me?"

"They have, I just turn them down." He said, finishing the last bit of his ice cream. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Akaashi turns down the girls that like him? So did this make you some special case? If so, it felt nice being the only girl he didn't consider turning down.

"Hey lovebirds, if you two are all done here, we gotta head back to drop Nozomi off home." Konoha said with a stupid grin on his face. "She said that she's tired of us. I feel accomplished by that statement."

"Sure. Are you ready to go [Y/N]?" Akaashi asked, holding his hand out for you. You smiled and graciously took it.

"Yeah. Let's go."
