A lot had been going on in Nellies life. She had quit the Cheerios which means she was going to take a lot more slushees to the face now. But she didn't care, since being off the Cheerios sort of gave her a breather. And way more time to spend with Matteo and her friends. Speaking of Matteo, the boy wrapped his arms around her from behind making Nellie smile. She leaned into his touching, missing it greatly.

"Oh hello there Matteo. To what do I owe this visit?" Nellie turned around and wrapped his arms around his neck. "I have a surprise for you." He smirked and Nellie raised a brow. "Really now?"

"Yup. You'll have to come with me to find out." Nellie giggled as she was being dragged away from her locker and into an empty classroom. Nellie noticed the band in the room and furrowed her brows.

"Matteo, what's going on?" She laughed. Matteo ignored her and nodded his head towards the band members, signaling for them to start the song.

By the end of the song the smirk on Nellies face was very evident. "Nellie Puckerman, I have to say this. I love you. I love you more then I've ever loved anything in this crazy world. And before you ask, no, I'm not proposing. That's someday......in the future. But for now, I wanted to give you this promise ring. I promise you I won't leave you. I promise I'll love you no matter what happens. So, do you take the promise ring?" Tears were streaming down Nellies eyes as she sniffled. "Oh princesa don't cry." Matteo cooed wiping her tears away with his thumb. Nellie chuckled. "I'm sorry. No one ever asked me to be their Valentine before, or give me chocolates, or sing me a love song. I loved every moment of this." The two kissed and the band members cheered.

"Let's get out of here." The two held hands as they walked out the empty classroom. "Nice game you had Puckerman." A random girl complimented. "Oh uh.......thank you?" Matteo and Nellie shared a laugh as they continued to walk down the hallway.

Matteo and Nellie sat in the choir room eating the chocolates they had gotten for each other. Mr.Shue wrote the words love on the board and Nellie and Matteo smiled at each other.

"All right guys, I have one word for you. Brittany." Mr.Shue called once he noticed Brittany raising her hand.

"Is it love? Totally gonna graduate now?" Brittany grinned. "Valentine's day is coming up, so for this weeks lesson, I want you guys to pick a partner because you're gonna sing to them what you think is the worlds greatest love song. Yeah find a song that communicates all the things that love means to you. Now, partner up." All the couples smiled at each other and Matteo threw his arm around Nellies shoulder making her blush.

"Mr.Shue? Can I say something?" Finn asked. Finn then walked to the front of the classroom. "I just wanted to point out that for the first time, an entire week has gone by without any of us getting slushees." The glee club clapped at that. "I think the fact that I lead the football team to a conference championship might have something to do with that. Fact is that I'm the closest thing that this glee club has to a celebrity right now." Nellie scoffed. "Please. I get fan mail because of all those touchdowns I scored for you guys. But do go on Hudson River."

"Anyways, just like a famous athlete, I want to give to a charity. You guys. So I'm setting up a kissing booth for a dollar a smooch, and donating the proceeds to glee club to help us...." Finn was cut off by Jay who sat next to Mercedes. "Dude, I know where this is going. You just wanna kiss a bunch of girls."

"Jays right. Don't even act like you're trying to help us." Mercedes added. "I've kissed Finn. And can I just say? Not worth a buck. I would, however, pay a hundred dollars to jiggle one of his man-boobs." Nellie sighed. This totally wasn't going to end well. "Do you ever get tired of tearing other people down?" Finn questioned.

"No not really."

"Because you always just seem to be meddling in everybody else's business."

"Oh please. You guys love me. I keep it real, and I'm hilarious." Santana said. "I second that." Nellie raised her hand in agreement. "Actually you're just a bitch." Lauren commented and Nellies jaw dropped.

"Whoa!"

"Whoa!"

"Oh damn!"

"Ok. I'm sorry. You've just got eyes for my man." Oh yeah. Pucks been crushing on Lauren for ages and Santana was getting jealous about it. "Okay first of all, I'm not your man."

"And Finn is right. All you ever do is insult us. Three weeks ago you said you were disappointed that I didn't have a lizard baby." Quinn jumped in. "Five minutes ago you said Mr.Shue belonged in a 12 step program." Tina said.

"Wait what?"

"You're addicted to vests."

"Ok come on guys. You have to be real. Sure Santana can be mean sometimes, but in the end she does say facts. But Tana I told you about the lizard baby thing. And Quinn, don't act like a saint. You were sort of a bitch too. We all were!"

"The truth is Santana, you can dish it out but you can't take it. Okay maybe you're right. Maybe I'm destined to play the title role in the Broadway musical version of Willow but the only job you're going to have is working on a pole."

"Babe? Hold my earrings?" Nellie took off her earrings and watched as Santana walked out the classroom. "You are so full of yourself it's painful. You know what Rachel? You're nothing but a self centered, annoying, little bitch!" Nellie yelled. And with that Nellie stormed out of the choir room to find Santana.

"Maybe try rocking back and forth. That always helps in the movies. "No. 'Cause I just try to be really, really honest with people when I think they suck, you know?" Nellie nodded. "Rachel is just a bitch."

Later that night Kurt had called an emergency sleepover which Nellie was at currently with Rachel and Mercedes. "I was absolutely devastated." Kurt told.

"Did he ever actually say you two were dating?" Rachel questioned as she was doing Mercedes hair. "Well not in so many words." Kurt responded.

"Did he at least put the moves on?" Nellie asked. "No, but we were always singing duets and he was always smiling at me. Oh my god I made up the whole thing in my head, didn't I?"

"Listen we've all been there. At least I have. With you."

"I know exactly what you mean. I mean if Finn thinks he's just gonna walk out of my life, he's wrong. 'Cause I'm gonna go up to that kissing booth tomorrow with a $100 dollar bill and he's not gonna be able to make change. And then he's gonna be forced to kiss me 100 times and when his lips touch mine im telling you."

"Rachel, don't you think you're maybe a little......obsessed? You need to give Finn time to heal and deal with this. Plus, we're supposed to be giving Kurt advice, remember? But you are going to the gap attack though, right?" Nellie asked. "Should-Should I?"

"Yes! Scope out the competition! See what this guys like. You know, you two are both so guy crazy. I mean I don't have a date for Valentine's and I could give a rip. The four of us are divas. Look at our idols. Whitney, Barbara, Patti Lupone, Beyoncé. They all became stars when they were single. They took all the pain and the loneliness and they put it into their music. People could relate to it. Yeah, everybody feels lonely. Harnessing this pain is why they became legends."

"Why has this never occurred to me?" Rachel asked. "Guys, Mercedes is right. Sometimes you have to choose between love and talent. And as far as I'm concerned, you guys need to fly solo for a while."

"It's so nice to be around girls for a change."

"Oh. Here. Move over." Nellie rested her legs on Kurts legs.

The next day Puck was singing his love song for Lauren in the choir room. The boys were backing him up. Nellie cringed since out of all the love songs out there, this was the one he choose to sing.

Santana looked utterly annoyed with the performance, an emotion she's been feeling this entire week. Nellie looked a little annoyed at first before she started jamming out with the rest of the glee club. She also cheered once the song was over.

After glee club Nellie watched as all the girls crowded around the kissing booth to kiss Finn. Nellie wanted to contribute, but she didn't know how Matteo was going to feel about it.

"I really don't care." Matteo shrugged once Nellie confronted him about it. "Wait really?"

"As long as it's quick I don't care." Matteo responded. "You know you're the best right?" Nellie strutted down the hallway, her boots clicking as she did so (image above).

"Greetings Hudson River, I'd like a kiss on the cheek please." Nellie slammed the dollar bill down and smirked at him. "Hey, Nel, is Teo ok with this?"

"Yeah, he's over there. It's just a kiss on the cheek right? No biggie?"

"No biggie." Finn gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and Nellie smiled. "Great. I donated to glee club, and I'll be on my way. Come along Matteo, we have greater matters to attend."

The next day Artie and Mike wanted to express their love for their girlfriends through song. Nellie was still trying to find the perfect love song but nothing was working. She wanted it to be perfect, just like Matteo's song was perfect for her.

"Tenderoni!" Finn exclaimed. "I'm so in love I may just start crying." Tina laughs as she leans in to give Mike a kiss.

"Ok! Anyone else?" Matteo glanced at Jay nodding at him.

"I-I have one." Jay spoke up and everyone gave him a shocked look. Yet Matteo just smirked at him.

"Ok, uh, so I've been alone, for most of my life and I felt alone. You may think because I'm popular that I can have any girl I want. Well that's not the case. And a certain someone has helped me out these past few weeks. So......Mercedes this is for you."

Mercedes couldn't stop smiling through the whole song. No one had ever sung her a love song like that before, and it was very sweet of Jay that he did this for her. So she hopped down from her seat and turned to Jay.

"Be my Valentine?" He asked hopefully. Mercedes turned to Rachel and Nellie who both nodded at her.

"Sure." The two hugged and Nellie cheered for him. "Wooo! That's my friend!" Matteo yelled while cheering.

After glee club Nellie was shocked to see Lauren and Santana fighting. Well, more like Santana was getting thrown into lockers and pretty much loose in general. Nellie had to do something.

"Lauren chill out!" Nellie yelled getting in between them. It was a dumb move, one she was going to pay for later. Lauren must've mistook  Nellie for Santana because she was thrown in the lockers as well. Pain shot through her entire back and she cried out in pain.

"Hey! I didn't do anything!" Nellie yelled in hopes that'll calm her down. Lauren continued fighting with Santana and when Nellie tried to pull Santana away Lauren got in the way and harshly shoved Nellie into the lockers.

"All right that's it! Time for that Puckerman fury bitches!" Nellie tried to throw Lauren off but failed miserably. Once Santana was out of the way it was just Nellie and Lauren. "Alright we can talk about this Lauren. Ok I'm sorry for laughing at Santana's comments ok? It was bitchy! Woah woah please don't-" Nellie was cut off by her arm being grabbed harshly and her getting thrown across the hall into another locker. "Puck! Do something!" Nellie yelled. At this point it was almost as if she was glued to the ground with how much pain she was in.

"Hey! Knock it off and get to class!" Beiste yelled. At this point Matteo showed up and gasped. "What the hell Lauren?!" Puck shouted.

"Oh ok. Now you wanna get involved? Where was this energy when I was getting thrown across frickin' lockers!" Nellie exclaimed. "I'm sorry Nel. I thought you were Santana."

"Oh so there are two Santana's now? Jesus. Come on babe, let's get you to the nurse." Matteo picked her up bridal style as she was being carried away.

"You got your stuff for Mercedes?" Nellie asked Jay as they were about to walk inside the choir room. "Yeah. You got your stuff for Matteo?" She nodded as well. Matteo was holding flowers and chocolates, and so was Nellie.

"Let's go then." Matteo furrowed his brows once he saw Nellie walking in with her hands full. "Happy Valentine's Day my love." She said to him as she took a seat.

"You got this for me?" Matteo gasped as he took the objects from her. "Yeah I did. I didn't get you anything for Valentine's Day so here it is. Do you like it?"

"Like it? I love it!" Matteo wrapped Nellie in a hug and Nellie giggled before giving him a peck on the lips. Finn walked to the front of the choir room and he did not look good at all.

"Well, I did it. I kissed every girl in this school and raised $324 dollars for the glee club." Finn handed the money over to Mr.Shue. "All right, thank you Finn. That'll pay for half a ticket to nationals. So.....still a long way to go. All right? Ok." People slowly clapped for Finn, Nellie being one of them.

"Now I believe it's time to hear what the greatest love song means to Ms.Tina-Cohen Chang. Come on up."

"Is anyone else hot? It feels a little stuffy in here?" Nellie furrowed her brows. What was going on with Finn today? It felt perfectly fine in the choir room, which means it's just him who felt like that. And now come to think of it, quinn looked the exact same way.

"This is for you Mike. Happy Valentine's Day." Tina says as the song begins to start.

Halfway throughout the song Tina broke down crying and Nellie really didn't know what to say. Mike went over to comfort her.

"Okay wow, that was powerful. Almost too powerful." Mr.Shue commented.

"I love you Mike Chang!" Tina sobbed. "Mr.Shue can I be excused? I don't feel well." Finn said. "Me either. I feel sick."

"Let me guess. You have a sore throat and your glands are swollen and you're feverish." Ok what the actual hell was going on here? Nellie was confused and so was pretty much everyone else in the room. "Yeah. Yeah, which is why I need to go to the nurse." Finn responds.

"It sounds like you have mono. Otherwise known as the kissing disease. But you know what really helps spread it? A little tongue. Which is weird because it sounds like Quinn here has it, too."

"I was there when they kissed. It was just a peck." Sam jumped in. "So how about we stop talk about tonguing, and Finn and I go to the nurse."

"You know what I think that is a capital idea?"

"Alright uh.....does anyone else Wanna go?" Mr.Shue questioned after that whole fiasco went down. "I would. This song, like pretty much all of my other songs, is dedicated to my boyfriend, Matteo. I love you babe."

Matteo was wiping away the tears that were coming from his face as the glee club clapped for Nellies song. Matteo stood up and kissed nellie passionately. Fireworks erupted as nellie felt on top of the world. It was always like that when nellie was around Matteo.

"Alright! Lets give it up for Nellie!"

Later that night Nellie, Matteo, Mercedes, Jay, Mike, and Tina went out to support Kurt and the warblers. And they had noticed Rachel sitting all along so they went to sit with her.

"Mind if we join you?" Mercedes asked. "I would love that." Rachel responded. Nellie slid into a booth and turned towards Kurt.

"Testing, one, two, three. All right. So, happy Valentine's Day, everybody. For those of you Breadstix patrons who don't know who I am, I'm Kurt Hummel and welcome to my first ever Lonely Hearts Club dinner. Whether you are single with hope, or madly in love and are here because I forced you to come out here and support me sit back and enjoy. And to all the singles out there, this is our year."

After the song Matteo and Nellie waved goodbye to Kurt. "So, wanna go over to my place?" Nellie questioned with a smirk.

"You sure about that?"

"Positive." Nellie nodded. She wanted her first time to be special, and giving the circumstances now this was special to her.

"Alright then. See y'all later!" And with that Matteo and Nellie were off.
