* Ashley's pov *

" cause i- we will always got your back. we will never let you down. i will always got your back. most of the time, just when I'm not freaked out about security guards, all right?" tuck says

" so are we all good here?" i ask

" yeah." Alex says barely audible.

i was about to cheer when echo made a noise and fell apart. we rushed to put him inside Alex's bag. the door bell rung and i couldn't believe who walked in

it was the guy from the construction site, what? was he following us!? he said something to the cashier and walked over to our table. he he leaned down and was giving us a death glare

" sure are doing some traveling tonight." he said

" my parents are in the bathroom." Emma says playing it off

" uh-huh" he says then brings out this weird devise and waves it around and echo then started to beep.
then started to glow i leaned over trying to block sight of Alex's backpack. he stood up and started tugging on the bag

" let it go" he says slowly. me and Alex shake our heads and leaned forward more to make it harder to grab while Alex had a death grip on it.

" what are you doing?" tuck asks

he doesn't answer. he pushes me back with his arm and i felt the pain already. he used both hands to tug and the bag but Alex wouldn't give up, i went to shove him but i winced because my shoulder was in pain. he finally got a hold of the bag and was walking away

" hey! you cant just walk in and take out backpack!" i yell.

he ignores us and goes out side in puts echo in the truck.

" no,no,no!" munch yells while he runs outside.

" munch! come back!" i yell i get up to chase after him and he jumps in the back of their truck i was about to do the same when i felt a pair of arms around me holding me back from running any further.

" Ashley, please don't." it was Alex

i was hitting him to let me go. kicking and punching, i had to go go after him!

" its okay." Alex said while rubbing my hair. i sniffled, i hadn't realized i was crying until now...

" we have to follow them. we have to get munch back"
