Back at the Kuzuryu manor, Fuyuhiko stood in the dimly lit basement, his hands clenched into tight fists as he stared at the man tied to the chair before him. The basement reeked of sweat and fear, the tension thick in the air as several of the Kuzuryu clan members loomed behind Fuyuhiko, waiting for his orders. Ryu, the hostage, had been tight-lipped, stubbornly refusing to give any information about the people who had orchestrated Hannah's kidnapping.

The silence was heavy, broken only by the occasional sound of shuffling feet or the clink of a chain. Fuyuhiko's patience was wearing thin. His eyes narrowed at Ryu, who was panting, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead, yet there was still an arrogance about him, a smirk tugging at his lips despite the ropes biting into his skin.

Fuyuhiko stood in front of him, fists clenched at his sides. The room was tense, filled with the quiet murmurs of clan members and the distant hum of activity above. Peko stood nearby, her eyes sharp and focused, ready to intervene if necessary.

"Start talking." Fuyuhiko demanded, his voice low and dangerous. "Who sent you? What do you want with Hannah?"

Ryu chuckled, the sound grating on Fuyuhiko's nerves. "You think I'm going to just spill everything because you ask nicely? You're more naive than I thought."

Fuyuhiko's patience was wearing thin. He took a step closer, glaring down at Ryu. "You're going to answer me, one way or another."

Ryu's laugh was louder this time, almost hysterical. "You're all bark and no bite, Kuzuryu."

"You think this is a joke?" Fuyuhiko growled, his voice low and dangerous. He stepped forward, grabbing Ryu by the collar, pulling him closer until their faces were inches apart. "You don't know who the fuck you're dealing with."

Ryu chuckled, his voice rasping, still defiant. "You think I'm scared of you, kid?"

Before Fuyuhiko could respond, something caught his eye; a phone slipped out of Ryu's pocket as he shifted uncomfortably in the chair. Fuyuhiko let go of Ryu and quickly snatched the phone off the floor, his brow furrowing as he unlocked it.

What he saw made his blood boil instantly.

Explicit messages filled the screen, text after text from Ryu and other unknown numbers. They were talking about Hannah, sexualizing her in the most disgusting ways imaginable. Fuyuhiko's grip on the phone tightened, his knuckles turning white as he read lines that made his stomach churn:

"That Togami girl, Hannah... can't wait to get my hands on her next time. That cute little body of hers... she's gonna be begging for it."

"Did you see her squirm when we grabbed her? She looked so damn innocent, makes it more fun."

The messages went on, each more vile than the last. Fuyuhiko's heart pounded in his chest as he scrolled further, reading explicit fantasies that made his vision blur with rage. The way they spoke about Hannah, someone who had done nothing but bring a light into his otherwise dark world, was unforgivable.

His breath came out in ragged bursts as his fury escalated. The others in the room noticed his change in demeanor, sensing the violent storm brewing within him.

"You sick piece of shit." Fuyuhiko muttered under his breath, his voice trembling with barely contained rage. He lifted his eyes from the phone and glared at Ryu, who was still smirking, clearly unaware of the messages Fuyuhiko had just uncovered.

Without warning, Fuyuhiko slammed the phone into the ground, shattering it into pieces. His chest heaved as he stalked toward Ryu, grabbing him by the hair and yanking his head back. The smirk on Ryu's face faltered, replaced by a flash of fear.

"You're gonna tell me everything." Fuyuhiko snarled, his voice dangerously low. "Who's behind this? Who else is involved? Or so help me, I'll make sure you regret ever laying a finger on her."

Ryu's eyes darted around, suddenly realizing the situation had shifted drastically. "I-I don't know what you're talking about-!"

Before he could finish, Fuyuhiko's fist connected with his face, the sharp crack echoing through the basement. Blood splattered across the floor as Ryu groaned in pain, his nose broken, his defiance crumbling under the weight of Fuyuhiko's fury.

"Don't lie to me!" Fuyuhiko roared, striking him again. "I know what you said about her. I know what you planned to do to her."

The other clan members stood back, silent, watching Fuyuhiko unleash his fury. No one dared to interfere. This was personal.

"You think I'll let scum like you get away with talking about her like that?" Fuyuhiko hissed, grabbing Ryu by the jaw, forcing him to meet his eyes. "I'll make you beg for mercy before I'm done with you."

Ryu, now trembling, sputtered through bloodied lips, "Please, I-I didn't mean any of it-"

Fuyuhiko's grip tightened. "Didn't mean it? You planned to use her, hurt her, and you think you're getting out of this alive?"

Tears of panic welled in Ryu's eyes as the realization set in. This wasn't just about answers anymore, this was about survival, and with Fuyuhiko, there was no mercy left to give.

Fuyuhiko's patience snapped, his finger squeezing the trigger of his gun before he could stop himself. The gunshot echoed violently in the basement, and Ryu's agonized scream followed almost immediately. The bullet tore through his leg, sending a splatter of blood across the cold floor. Ryu collapsed in the chair, clutching his thigh, his face contorted in pain.

"Start talking!" Fuyuhiko growled, his voice cold and merciless. His eyes burned with an intensity that could melt steel.

Ryu writhed in agony, gasping for air between cries. "P-please... I-I'll tell you- just please!" His voice cracked, terror overtaking him as Fuyuhiko loomed closer, gun still aimed.

"Who the hell's behind this?" Fuyuhiko demanded, leaning in. His expression was dark, his finger hovering dangerously close to the trigger again.

"A man- S-Saito! That's his name-!" Ryu blurted out, wincing as he gasped for air, clutching at his bleeding leg. "He's the one pulling all the strings. He... he's been planning to take Hannah for months. He thinks... if he can get her, he can force a marriage, and with her under his control, the Togami clan will be h-his!"

Saito. Saito Morioka.

Fuyuhiko's expression hardened, his grip tightening on the gun. The name hit him like a brick. He knew the Morioka family, knew they had a vendetta against the Kuzuryu clan.. but this? This went beyond business, beyond rivalry.

Saito Morioka wanted to take Hannah, use her as a pawn to gain power over the Togami clan.

It wasn't just about her, it was about destroying everything Fuyuhiko held dear, all for control, all for dominance.

"Saito Morioka."

The name hung in the air like a curse, each syllable igniting an even deeper rage within Fuyuhiko. His grip on the gun tightened, the metal warm in his hand. He knew that bastard Saito had always been gunning for control, trying to muscle in on the Kuzuryu family's power. But this? Going after Hannah, planning to marry her to gain control over the Togami clan? It was beyond a simple rivalry now. This was personal.

"That piece of shit." Fuyuhiko growled under his breath, his teeth clenched.

Ryu was still writhing in pain, clutching his leg where the bullet had torn through flesh and bone. Blood pooled beneath him as he gasped for air, his cries echoing off the cold basement walls. The sight did nothing to calm Fuyuhiko, if anything, it only fueled the violent storm brewing in his chest.

"You let that bastard plan this for months?" Fuyuhiko's voice was cold, shaking with rage as he towered over Ryu. "You let him think he could take Hannah- use her like she's some pawn in his game?"

Ryu whimpered, barely able to form words between sobs of pain. "I- I swear, I didn't want to! H-He threatened us, threatened me! He said... he said if we didn't help, he'd-!"

"Shut the hell up!" Fuyuhiko barked, cutting him off. "I don't give a damn about your excuses."

He raised the gun again, pointing it directly at Ryu's head. The man trembled, his face pale with fear as he stared down the barrel.

"Saito Morioka." Fuyuhiko repeated, venom lacing his words. "He thinks he can lay a finger on her, marry her? I'll kill him first. I'll make sure his whole damn family burns for this."

Ryu was shaking violently now, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "Please, please! I'll tell you more, I'll tell you everything!" he begged, blood smearing across the floor as he tried to push himself up. "Saito... h-he's been watching her, waiting for the right time to strike! He knows how close you are to her- ..he thought it'd weaken you-!"

Weaken him?

The thought made Fuyuhiko's blood run cold. Did Saito really believe that using Hannah against him would make him vulnerable? That it would break him? He didn't know the lengths Fuyuhiko was willing to go to protect her. He didn't understand just how far Fuyuhiko would push to keep her safe, no matter what.

"You're going to pay for everything you did." Fuyuhiko whispered coldly, releasing his grip on his gun, just long enough to deliver one final blow. The sound of bones crunching beneath his fist was sickening, and Ryu slumped in the chair, barely conscious.

Fuyuhiko wiped the blood off his knuckles, his breathing ragged. "Get him out of my sight." he ordered his men, his voice sharp and cold.

As the others moved to drag Ryu's limp body away, Fuyuhiko stood in the silence of the basement, his anger simmering. He couldn't erase the messages from his mind, couldn't forget the way they had spoken about Hannah.

Saito fucking Morioka.

The name twisted in his mind like a dagger. He had to act fast, there was no telling how far Saito had already gone in his plans to abduct Hannah again, or worse.

He didn't want to admit it, but he needed to think clearly. If Saito Morioka was behind this, it wasn't just about kidnapping Hannah anymore. It was a full-blown power move, a way for Saito to merge with the Togami clan and challenge the Kuzuryu's dominance in the underworld. It was a threat Fuyuhiko couldn't ignore.

And Hannah was caught in the middle.

"That bastard.." Fuyuhiko muttered under his breath, anger still simmering. He had to protect her, no matter what. This wasn't just business anymore. It was personal.

He stormed out of the basement, heading back up the stairs to the manor where Hannah was resting. His thoughts raced. Saito Morioka had made his move, and Fuyuhiko was going to make damn sure he regretted ever coming after Hannah.

No one would ever take her from him.
Not again.
Not while he was still breathing.
