Hannah's father had been clear: go to the designated spot, pick up the shipment from a new supplier, and return home. It was a simple task, already paid for and presumably straightforward. Yet, as she walked alone under the dim streetlights, an uneasy feeling gnawed at her.
Choosing to walk had seemed smart at the time, less conspicuous, less chance of drawing public attention. But now, as she approached the meeting point, the deserted street and the eerie silence made her second-guess her decision. The alleyway loomed ahead, dark and foreboding.
Hannah's eyes scanned the area. No sign of the supplier, no reassuring figure waiting to hand over the package. Instead, her gaze caught on a sleek, black car parked ominously near the alleyway. Its windows tinted so dark, that she couldn't see inside. Alarm bells started ringing in her head. Something wasn't right.
Before she could react, a strong hand clamped over her mouth from behind, stifling her scream. Panic surged through her, and she struggled, kicking and thrashing, but her captor's grip was unyielding. The more she fought, the tighter the hold became, making it impossible for her to break free.
She managed to turn her head slightly, but all she could see was a blur of shadows. Her heart pounded in her chest, adrenaline coursing through her veins as she desperately tried to fight back. But the odds were against her.
Suddenly, another figure emerged from the darkness, hooded and masked. Without a word, the masked figure delivered a brutal punch to her face. Pain exploded in her head, and the world spun wildly before her eyes. She collapsed to the ground, consciousness slipping away rapidly.
As she lay there, dazed and unable to move, she felt herself being lifted, her body limp and unresponsive. The last thing she saw before everything went black was the interior of the black car, the door slamming shut behind her as they drove off into the night.

Mr Togami paced the ornate floor of his study, frustration etched across his face. It had been over an hour since he sent Hannah to pick up the shipment, and her absence was beginning to gnaw at him. He glanced at the clock, its ticking growing louder with each passing minute.
It wasn't like her to be this late without any communication. Impatience got the better of him, as he picked up the phone and dialed the number for the servant quarters.
"Yes, sir?" the servant's voice crackled through the receiver.
"Have you seen Hannah? Check her room and the rest of the house. She hasn't come back yet." Mr Togami ordered, his tone clipped with worry.
The servant quickly set off to search the sprawling mansion. Minutes stretched into what felt like hours as Mr Togami waited, tapping his fingers impatiently on the polished wood of his desk. Finally, the servant returned.
"I'm sorry sir, but she's not here. I've checked everywhere."
"Well keep looking!" The man's jaw tightened, anger bubbling beneath the surface. He couldn't understand why she was taking so long. This was a simple task, and the last thing he needed was any complications.
He wasted no time in picking up the phone again, this time dialing the number for the Kuzuryu Manor. The phone rang a few times before it was answered.
"Hello?" came the gruff voice of Mr Kuzuryu. "Who is this?"
"It's Togami. Is Hannah there by any chance? She was supposed to pick up a shipment tonight, but she hasn't returned." Mr Togami said, trying to keep his voice steady.
There was a brief pause on the other end. "No, she's not here. I haven't seen her since earlier today. You think something's happened?"
His mind raced with scenarios. Had she been ambushed? Was she in trouble? He couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong.
"I don't know." Mr Togami admitted, his voice betraying his anxiety. "This isn't like her. She should have been back hours ago."
Mr Kuzuryu's voice took on a more serious tone. "We need to find her. If something's happened... the implications could be severe for both our clans."
Mr Togami nodded, even though the gesture was lost over the phone. "I'll get my men on it immediately. We can't afford to wait."
"Agreed. I'll have my people start looking as well. We'll find her." Mr Kuzuryu promised.
As Mr Togami hung up the phone, a sense of dread settled over him. Hannah was capable, but she was still young and inexperienced in this dangerous world. He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling that settled in his gut.
Hannah's absence was more than just a cause for concern; it was a potential threat to their family's reputation and safety. He quickly mobilized his most trusted men, sending them out into the night to search for any sign of his daughter.
He paced back and forth, envisioning everything from a simple delay to something far more dangerous.
Minutes later, the servant returned again with an anxious expression. "Sir, still no word from Miss Hannah. Perhaps you should-"
"Enough!" Mr Togami snapped, cutting him off. "She should be back by now."
He glanced out the window, it was completely dark. The shadows seemed to stretch ominously under the few streetlights, mirroring the growing unease in his gut.
Hannah was tough. She was raised to always be able to always defend herself, in any situation. She was raised to be a Togami, and her father expected her to act like one.
At the Kuzuryu Manor, Mr Kuzuryu was pacing the length of the study, his face etched with worry for the young girl. He glanced at the clock and then back at his son, Fuyuhiko, who was sat at his desk, working away on a computer.
"Fuyuhiko." Mr Kuzuryu called, trying to keep his irritation in check.
Fuyuhiko didn't even bother to look up from his work. "Yeah, what is it?"
"Have you seen Hannah today?" the man asked, his tone clipped.
Fuyuhiko shrugged, still engrossed in whatever he was reading. "Nope. Haven't seen her since last night. Why?"
Mr Kuzuryu's jaw clenched. He took a deep breath before speaking again. "She hasn't returned from picking up a shipment. Togami called, and he's worried."
Fuyuhiko finally looked up, his face showing a mix of annoyance and disinterest. "So? She probably got held up somewhere." he scoffed, rolling his eyes slightly as he dismissed the whole situation as Hannah being reckless again. "Knowing her, she's probably ran off somewhere. Tell Togami that she'll be back tomorrow."
Mr Kuzuryu's eyes flashed with irritation. "This isn't just about her being late. If something's happened to her, it could jeopardize our alliance with the Togami clan. This is serious, Fuyuhiko."
Fuyuhiko frowned, turning off his monitor and standing up from his seat. "What. You're saying that she's missing?"
"Apparently." the man said, frustration creeping into his voice. "I'll send out a team to look for her, but I want you to help look as well. You know her more than the rest of us."
Fuyuhiko sighed, "Fine. But I'm telling you, she's probably just being her usual reckless self."
Mr Kuzuryu's expression softened slightly, though the worry remained. "Thank you. Take Peko with you and find her. We can't afford to wait any longer."
Fuyuhiko nodded, "Alright, I'll get Peko and we'll head out."
He left the room, his steps quickening as he made his way to the training area where Peko was practicing her sword techniques. As he approached, she paused, her eyes immediately honing in on him with a keen awareness.
"Peko, we need to find Hannah. She's gone missing." Fuyuhiko said, his tone more urgent now.
Peko paused, turning to face him fully. "Missing?" she asked, a puzzled expression etched on her face.
Fuyuhiko nodded. "Yeah. Apparently Togami called, saying that Hannah hadn't returned after going to pick up a shipment. They think something's up."
Peko sheathed her sword and stepped forward. "Understood, young master. Do we have any leads?"
"None yet. Let's start at the meeting point for the shipment and see if we can pick up any clues to where she might've gone." Fuyuhiko replied, already heading towards the door.
The two of them set off into the night, the urgency of their mission hanging heavy in the air. As they drove towards the last known location of Hannah, Fuyuhiko couldn't shake off the growing sense of unease. Despite his earlier nonchalance, the thought of something happening to Hannah gnawed at him.
