Hannah sat at one of the tables in the school lunchroom, quietly eating her meal and scrolling through her phone. The room was filled with chatter, laughter, and the clatter of trays and utensils, but it was all background noise to her as she tried to focus on something, anything, other than how dull her day had been so far.

That dullness was about to end.

A shadow loomed over her, and Hannah glanced up to see a girl standing in front of her, arms crossed and a smug smirk plastered across her face. It was Miu, one of the girls who had always seemed to take an odd interest in Hannah, though not in any positive way.

"So," Miu began, her voice loud enough to catch the attention of a few nearby tables. "Still pretending like you're better than everyone else, huh?"

Hannah blinked, confused at first, but quickly narrowed her eyes. "What are you talking about?" she asked, her tone sharp. From what she'd learnt, Miu always liked to stir up trouble. Now Hannah was her newest target.

"Oh, come on." Miu said, rolling her eyes. "You strut around here like you've got everything figured out just because of your family name. But everyone knows your family's reputation isn't as great as you think."

Hannah's stomach twisted at the mention of her family. She put her fork down and stood up, squaring off with Miu. "Excuse me?"

A few more heads turned in their direction, the tension between the two girls drawing attention. Miu, clearly enjoying the growing audience, stepped closer, her smirk widening.

"You think you can just hide behind your last name, like it's supposed to mean something. But everyone knows your family's nothing but trouble. Money can't buy you class or respect, Hannah."

Hannah's fists clenched at her sides. She wasn't someone who usually let people's words get to her, but Miu had hit a nerve, and she knew it. "You don't know anything about my family!" Hannah shot back, her voice rising.

"Oh, don't I?" Miu's tone was mocking, and she was clearly relishing in every word. "I've heard enough. You're just like them- thinking you're untouchable because of some legacy. But legacies mean nothing when the people behind them are rotten."

The noise in the cafeteria began to die down, more and more students turning to watch the argument unfold. Hannah could feel the weight of dozens of eyes on her, but she didn't back down. Why would she? Miu was the one, starting on her so Hannah technically wasn't doing anything wrong.

"And you?" Hannah retorted, her voice cold. "You think you can just come at me like that, like you know anything? What's the matter, Miu? Jealous? Because from where I'm standing, you're the one who's obsessed with me and my family. Always whispering behind my back. It's pathetic."

Miu's smirk faltered for a second before she regained her composure. "Obsessed? Please. I'm just pointing out the truth. Everyone sees it, Hannah. Your family's reputation is a joke, and so are you."

The words stung, but Hannah refused to show it. "If you have a problem with me, say it outright. Don't drag my family into it just because you've got nothing else."

The cafeteria was now completely silent, all eyes on the two girls. Hannah's heart was racing, but she stood tall, refusing to let Miu get the better of her.

"Oh, trust me, it's not just your family," Miu continued, her voice dripping with venom. "It's you too. You walk around acting all high and mighty, like you're above everyone else. But guess what? No one respects you. They tolerate you because of your name, but deep down, everyone knows you're just as fake as the people you come from."

Hannah took a deep breath, her emotions bubbling just beneath the surface. She could feel the anger threatening to spill over, but she fought to stay calm. Losing control would only give Miu what she wanted.

"You don't know a damn thing about me." Hannah said, her voice low and dangerous. "You don't know what I've been through or what my family's been through. So, you can stand there and talk all the trash you want, but it won't change a thing. At least I don't spend my time tearing others down to make myself feel better."

Miu sneered, taking a step closer. "That's where you're wrong, Hannah. People like you need to be brought down a peg or two. And someone needs to make sure you know exactly where you stand."

Hannah felt the heat rising in her chest, but she held her ground. "I know exactly where I stand. Maybe you should take a look at yourself before you start judging other people."

The moment the argument reached its boiling point, an all-too-familiar angry voice cut through the room.

"Hannah!"

Fuyuhiko's voice cut through the air like a knife, his anger clear even before he fully stepped into the lunchroom. He stormed in, with Peko close behind, her expression calm but watchful. Fuyuhiko's face was set in a scowl, his eyes locked onto Hannah with a fury that could burn through stone. The whole room went silent again as the intensity of the situation grew. Hannah, still sitting at her table, froze for a moment, recognizing the familiar voice before turning her head to meet his furious gaze.

She grunted, rolling her eyes as she prepared herself for the inevitable scolding. Fuyuhiko had warned her more than once about getting into trouble, about stirring the pot when things were already tense enough. She could practically feel the weight of his anger from across the room.

Before Hannah could even open her mouth to defend herself, the speakers crackled to life, filling the cafeteria with the principal's stern, angry voice.

"Hannah, report to the principal's office immediately."

The room seemed to hold its breath as the announcement echoed. Hannah's face twisted into an expression of pure frustration. Her fists clenched, the weight of everything crashing down at once.

"Fuck!" she yelled, the frustration and fury erupting from her in one angry outburst. Without thinking, she kicked over the nearest chair, the sound of it crashing to the floor echoing through the room. The students watched in stunned silence as she stormed toward the exit, her face a mask of rage, fists clenched at her sides.

As she shoved open the lunchroom doors, she could still feel the weight of everyone's stares on her, but she didn't care. All she could focus on was the pulsing anger coursing through her veins. Being called to the principal's office again only made it worse, knowing she'd be lectured about her behavior when it wasn't even entirely her fault.

Fuyuhiko stood frozen for a moment, his jaw clenched tightly as he watched her storm out. Peko, standing next to him, glanced at Fuyuhiko, her usually calm demeanor now tinged with quiet concern. She knew that Fuyuhiko was torn between his responsibility to protect Hannah and his frustration with her constant troublemaking and rebelliousness.

He ran a hand through his hair in irritation, glaring down at the kicked-over chair before turning to Peko.

"Dammit, I told her." Fuyuhiko muttered under his breath, his voice low but seething. "I warned her to stop causing trouble, but she never listens."

Peko glanced at him, her eyes thoughtful as she folded her arms. "It seems she was provoked, young master. Perhaps there's more to it."

Fuyuhiko let out a sharp breath through his nose, his fists still balled up. "Yeah, but that doesn't excuse her from blowing up like that. She's going to get herself expelled at this rate."

Peko nodded but didn't say anything more, knowing better than to press the issue while Fuyuhiko was still simmering with anger. His protectiveness over Hannah often clashed with his frustration, and this was just another example of that push-and-pull.

"Guess I'll have to deal with this." Fuyuhiko grumbled, rubbing his temples. He cast a glance at the lunchroom, where the other students had resumed their normal activities, though the atmosphere was still tense. He could feel eyes on him, whispers about what had just unfolded.

With one last look at the exit Hannah had stormed through, Fuyuhiko straightened up. "Come on, Peko. Let's see what the hell she's gotten herself into this time."

Peko nodded silently and followed after him as they made their way toward the principal's office.

Hannah stormed into the principal's office, the door slamming behind her with a loud bang. She didn't even bother sitting down. Her anger was too raw, too hot.

"This is fucking bullshit!" she yelled, her voice echoing off the walls of the room. She stood in front of the principal's desk, fists clenched at her sides, her face flushed with frustration.

The principal, a middle-aged man with graying hair and an expression that had clearly seen its fair share of student outbursts, raised his hand to try and calm her down. His voice was stern but controlled. "Hannah."

But she wasn't having it. The fury in her eyes made it clear she wasn't backing down.

"Miss Togami, please." the principal said again, trying to regain control of the situation. "Sit down."

"No!" Hannah snapped back, pacing in front of his desk, her rage building with each passing second. "I'm sick of you all telling me what to do when I didn't do anything wrong!"

The principal sighed, rubbing his temples as if trying to fend off an impending headache. "Hannah, we've had multiple reports of you being involved in yet another altercation. This kind of behavior cannot continue."

"It wasn't even my fault!" Hannah interrupted, her voice rising again. "That bitch Miu came at me first, but no- I'm the one getting dragged in here like I'm some kind of problem! All of you act like I'm just trouble, but I don't start anything! You have no idea what it's like to have people constantly talking shit about you, about your family!"

The principal raised his voice slightly, trying to break through her tirade. "Miss Togami, calm down-"

"No!" she shouted again, her chest heaving with frustration. "You're all so quick to blame me every single time something happens! I'm sick of it! I'm not the one out there picking fights! But of course, because of my name, I'm the one who gets pulled in here and punished for nothing!" She slammed her hand down on the principal's desk for emphasis.

The principal leaned back in his chair, clearly trying to keep his composure. "This isn't about your family, Hannah. This is about your behavior."

"That's where you're wrong!" Hannah shot back, her voice cracking slightly with the intensity of her anger. "It's always about my family! You think I don't know that? The second people hear the name 'Togami' they either want something from me or they're waiting for me to screw up so they can tear me down. And you just go along with it, like I'm some kind of delinquent! I didn't ask for this!"

There was a heavy silence in the room after her outburst. The principal let out a long breath, choosing his next words carefully. "Hannah, I understand that you're frustrated, but you have to realize that how you respond in these situations matters. You can't keep-"

Hannah cut him off again, her voice quieter now but still filled with defiance. "It doesn't matter what I do. No one cares what really happened. You'll just take their word over mine, because it's easier to believe I'm the problem." She crossed her arms, her posture defensive, though her voice had lost some of its sharp edge.

The principal glanced down at his desk, clearly trying to find a way to defuse the situation without making it worse. "This isn't a question of blame, Hannah. It's about the choices you make. You need to learn how to control your temper, how to handle situations without letting them escalate like this."

Hannah glared at him, biting the inside of her cheek to stop herself from yelling again. It wasn't fair. None of this was fair.

The principal leaned forward in his chair, folding his hands together as he watched Hannah pace. His expression had hardened, and his tone took on a firmer edge.

"Hannah, you need to sort out your anger before it completely takes control of you. If you keep letting it dictate your actions, you'll-"

"What?" Hannah cut him off, her voice rising again. She stood up abruptly, glaring at the principal with a fury that radiated off her in waves. "Sort out my anger? You think I'm just supposed to sit here and take it while everyone throws shit at me?! Do you expect me to just ignore that? Huh?"

"Hannah." the principal tried again, his tone stern, but Hannah was too far gone now.

"No! I'm so sick of everyone blaming me for everything! You want me to calm down? Tell people to leave me the hell alone!"

The door to the office suddenly swung open with a loud bang, interrupting her outburst. Fuyuhiko barged in, his face a mask of barely contained fury, and Peko was just behind him. His presence filled the room with a tense energy that immediately silenced Hannah's yelling.

"Fuyuhiko-?" the principal began, his voice firm. "You can't just barge in here. Leave, now. This is a private discussion."

Fuyuhiko ignored him, his eyes laser-focused on Hannah. Without a word, he stormed over to her and grabbed the hood of her hoodie roughly, yanking her back a step. Hannah stumbled, startled by his sudden entrance and rough handling.

"Hey, what the hell-!" Hannah began, twisting in his hold, but Fuyuhiko ignored her protests.

"We're leaving," Fuyuhiko growled through clenched teeth, dragging her toward the door. "Now."

"Fuyuhiko, this is not how we handle things!" the principal snapped, standing up from behind his desk. "You need to leave and let me-"

Fuyuhiko shot the principal a cold glare, his hand still gripping Hannah's hood tightly as he guided her toward the exit. "She's coming with me. If you've got a problem with that, then you can take it up with my lawyer."

"Fuyuhiko!" the principal protested, but his voice was drowned out by the overwhelming authority in Fuyuhiko's tone.

Without another word, Fuyuhiko pulled Hannah out of the office, ignoring the principal's continued protests as the door slammed behind them.

As they walked down the hallway, Fuyuhiko didn't let go of her, his grip firm and unyielding. The silence between them was tense, thick with the anger Fuyuhiko was barely managing to hold back. Hannah, still reeling from the whirlwind of the last few minutes, finally managed to shake herself free from his grip once they were far enough away from the office.

"What the hell, Fuyuhiko?" she snapped, yanking her hood back into place. "You can't just drag me out of there like that!"

Fuyuhiko rounded on her, his eyes blazing with anger. "What the hell is my problem?!" he barked, his voice loud enough to echo down the hallway. "You're the one causing a scene in there again! Didn't I tell you to stop getting into shit like this?"

Hannah scowled at him, her own anger flaring up again. "It wasn't my fault! That bitch Miu started it, and I wasn't just gonna sit there and take it!"

"I don't care who started it!" Fuyuhiko snapped, stepping closer, his face inches from hers. "You've got to stop letting people get under your skin! Every damn time, you're in someone's face, picking fights. You think I enjoy having to come here and clean up your mess?"

Hannah gritted her teeth, refusing to back down. "I'm not picking fights! I'm just not gonna let people walk all over me!"

Fuyuhiko's fists clenched at his sides as he let out a frustrated growl. "You're gonna get yourself into deep shit one of these days, and I won't be able to drag you out of it! You don't think, Hannah! You just act on impulse, and then I'm stuck dealing with the fallout!"

Hannah crossed her arms defensively, her heart racing from the confrontation. "Yeah? Well, maybe if people didn't treat me like some kind of screw-up all the time, I wouldn't have to keep defending myself!"

Fuyuhiko scoffed, his expression hard. "People treat you that way because you keep proving them right. You wanna change things? Start acting like it." His voice was harsh, but underneath, there was a thread of concern. "You're not some damn victim, Hannah. Stop acting like the whole world's against you."

Hannah bit her lip, her anger starting to wane as Fuyuhiko's words sank in. She hated admitting that he had a point. She was tired. Tired of fighting, tired of the reputation she couldn't seem to shake. But the frustration of feeling constantly misunderstood still burned inside her.

"Then what am I supposed to do, huh?" she muttered, her voice quieter now. "Just let them keep talking shit about me? About my family?"

Fuyuhiko let out a sharp breath, his eyes softening just a fraction. "No. But you can't let every idiot who says something get to you. You've gotta be smarter than that. Pick your battles. Don't waste your energy on people who aren't worth it."

For a long moment, they stood there in silence, the tension still lingering but slowly easing as Fuyuhiko's anger cooled. Finally, he reached out and grabbed her arm, gentler this time, pulling her in the direction of the exit.

"Come on," he muttered, his voice still gruff but less harsh. "Let's get out of here before you get into more trouble."

Hannah didn't resist this time. She followed him, still fuming but too drained to argue any further. As they made their way out of the school, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt. Fuyuhiko was right, she'd been reckless, again.

But as much as she hated to admit it, there was something comforting about the way he always came for her, even when he was furious.
